Love this little craft beer brewery!! They have a great selection of beer on tap that changes regularly. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the beer. It has a fun vibe and minimal dogs, which is hard to find.

Ohhhh yea I was back again! Same place, same story, this is the taproom that you'd want to visit before you go to glory. Best variety of beer in the colony area, hands down. Plenty of space, plenty of tv, plenty of beer, perfect!

The variety of beers was great. The Thirsty Growler has something for everyone. Matt, the bartender, was super helpful with recommendations and specifics about the options available also. From Matt's interactions with guests you could tell that the Thirsty Growler definitely has its fair share of regulars. Brilliant idea with the pretzel oven behind the bar. The Thirsty Growler doesn't have a full service kitchen, but I love that they still incorporated a snack option. What does Jon Taffer say about establishments that have a food option and liquor/beer sales?! If you know, you know... Minus one star for the musty/sweaty smell inside. It could have been the crowd, but nonetheless it was a bit unpleasant.

We've come here for Valentine's Day with our own charcuterie board for a number of years now, but you can bring your lunch/dinner in anytime. Delicious and vast beer selection, nice booths, regular bar seats, and beer-knowledgeable staff who remember your name. Supporting local-owned business tastes good.

Came on a Sunday to fill my growler on Peticolas Doppelboxer. The vibe here is awesome, so glad to see people here with themselves and loved ones. Thank you Logan who was able to serve us with a glass and growler of Peticolas Doppelboxer.

This place is my favorite spot to grab a beer in the area. It's a good atmosphere, with friendly staff, a good selection of roughly 50 taps, and fair prices. I am glad to see this place with a good crowd and beating out some of their competition in the area. Mike the owner is very friendly and always greets and talks with us and Tommy and Chris are knowledgable and friendly bar tenders. Tip: you can bring your own food in or order take out down the the strip from Abuelos or Shaka and bring it in.

We had a very wonderful experience with Matt today. I did not catch the woman's name but she was equally as lovely. They were both very knowledgeable and great company. The selection is incredible. There was so much to choose from it was hard to choose just a few. We will definitely be back to visit.

We went in on a Sunday afternoon so it was not too busy at the time. My girlfriend and I like to be seated at a "low top" because she has back issues with climbing up into higher seating. We don't mind waiting for that as inside "low tops" are limited. The hostess was very nice, as they always are. She took us to the middle of the venue to seat us and then walked away while we were waiting on our server. I stood up to walk around the table so that I could sit next to her instead of across from her. She stood up to move over and pulled out the chair next to her so she could sit back down. At that moment the new general manager walked up, and without offering any explaination, took the chair out of my girlfriend's hand and said, "We need this table for another party." He walked away and left us standing there without offering us another solution, and apology or calling the hostess over to seat us elsewhere. We were left standing there dumbfounded and looking around unsure of what to do. We started walking back toward the front of the venue as we spotted another open "low top" near there. At that same time the female hostess saw what had happened to us, and she started to walk toward us. Meanwhile, another male server - acting as host - seated some people at the new table we were about to get to with the hostess. We got mad and said, "it feels like someone is playing a game on us!" The hostess apologized as she could see we were aggitated. It was not her fault, and we do not blame her. We blame the rudeness of the general manager. We left to go eat somewhere else. This is not the first incident with this general manager, though. A few days prior, we were eating in there and had a good vantage point of one of the side kitchen entries off to the left of the bar toward the ffront half of the venue. A bus boy sloshed water all over the floor while moving wet dishes in a container back into the kitchen. He didn't have a chance to clean it up because he was buy walking back and forth doing other things. No big deal. The general manager walks up and proceeds to yell at another female server about the water who had absolutely nothing to do with the spill After she walks away, he did not take any real care to clean the spot up himself. He comes back after a minute to clean it up but not with a mop or anything. He takes two towels off the bar and mushes it around on the floor with his foot. He , then, proceeds to kick the wet towels under the bar before walking away. Talk about a safety and hygene issue. This kind of left a bad taste in our mouth. He does not treat his venue or his staff very nicely. We wantedd to get up and tell the other female server that we were sorry for her. This venue would be great if they would fire this rude and sloppy general manager. It's a shame because this used to be one of our favorite venues to go to all the time. The experience is starting to feel cheapened and sullied now.

I chose a great day to visit due to the fact it's opening day for the World Cup. The Colony location provided a great atmosphere and opportunity to cheer on Mexico defeating South Africa 2-0. I wanted to get in early to get a spot since I'm visiting from Florida. I wasn't sure how quickly it would fill up. Madelynn was exceptional and very attentive. She made great recommendations and told me about their Dos Equis contest. I drank a few to help out her sales. I never had to ask for anything and her menu knowledge was great. She's got a spectacular look and should be a great brand ambassador for the company. I recently purchased a Rowdy Cowboy 2026 calendar on this trip and hope to see her in next years edition. Music was loud enough to where I could hear my husband across the table but not anyone else around me. We could still hear the comforting sound of the fountain and fans that blew a cooling mist too! We ordered the pretzel bites as an appetizer and it came out in literally 60 seconds. Bread didn't taste like pretzels, but it was tasty and the sauces yummy. Like, I could order the bites and some beers and be perfectly content. But I was here for the fish n chips and I was so happy! I'd have preferred a full filet of fish, but the batter was so crispy and salty (I love salt!). Fries were okay and basic but not bad with malt vinegar (I can literally drink that stuff!). Husband got the elite brisket flatbread. It was huge and honestly we'll probably just split this next time we come. It was delicious and back of the throat spicy, but the toppings were outstanding and brisket was tender!! Service was soooo quick and easy and the waitress has the decency to look away as you tip. We ordered the Boss Hog flatbread, chips and queso, and two margaritas the Skinny Bear on the rocks and the Caddy frozen margarita. We definitely enjoyed the happy hour discounts, which made the visit even better. We started with our drinks, and both margaritas were mixed very well. The Skinny Bear did seem a little stronger, but both had great flavor and were easy to enjoy. For appetizers, we ordered the chips and queso. The chips were thin, crispy, and had a nice dash of seasoning on them, but we do wish they had been served hot. The queso was warm, but not piping hot, and the texture was a little gritty, almost powder-like. We were expecting a creamier cheese, so it was good, but not our favorite part of the meal. Now, the star of the show was definitely the Boss Hog flatbread. It was cooked to perfection, baked really well, and had that nice crispy texture. The toppings were generous, and every bite had great flavor. I would absolutely order it again. The ambiance was also amazing. We loved being able to see the brewery, and the dim lighting set a cool, relaxed tone. The employees were nice, friendly, and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. I would definitely come back to try more menu items, and I recommend Union Bear for a cute date night, happy hour, or a laid back evening with good drinks and food.
