The jajangmyeon was rich, slightly sweet, and I can never get enough of that thick, black sauce that covers the noodles in its umami. It was PLENTY of food and everything was delicious. You do not need to order anything extra because it is a good amount of food. The best part is the duck - so flavorful and beautifully cooked. We spent about 2 hours here as each course is made to order, so be aware of that if you're also ordering the DK Experience. My favorite dish here is the Three cup chicken. The shredded potatoes were quickly blanched then stir fried preserving the crunch and crispness similar to al dente pasta. Seasoning was on point. The homiest flavor came from the stewed short rib. The rib pieces were braised in a soy and star anise sauce like what you find in Taiwanese beef noodle soup. The peels potatoes were cut rustically and just cooked through and not mushy. Authentic flavors and freshness like this is so so hard to come by. I can taste the quality of the ingredients used. One tip I have for selecting authentic food is by looking at the customers. If the customers are all Asian eating at an Asian restaurant, you know the food is going to be good. Service was 10/10, waitress was super polite and stopped by to chat with us about the food and SLC. I am from out of town but I grew up eating at NYC Asian restaurants and this is as good as if not better.
