This place is delicious! Came to Fargo for work and popped in her on a cold rainy day for something warm. The vibe is super casual with writing on the booths and cool art hanging around similar to a dive bar. You order at the register and then your food is brought to you. I got a beef dish with rice which was good and my wife got a unique ramen with broth that was to die for. The breadsticks were also delicious and came with a creamy gravy. I have eaten here before and I enjoy the food. I had the basil beef on my most recent visit. Its a nice dish, with lots of beef as well as a boiled egg as a garnish. It's not marked "spicy" on the menu board, but I found it a little too hot for me. The sauce has pretty much soaked into all the rice, so I couldn't use the rice to cool my mouth. Crispy pork belly is so good. The meat is soft inside and crispy on the outside. I like this meal a lot. Pad thai noodles and sauce is so yummy. But I got disappointed with grilled chicken. SO the ramen is AMAZING!!! We got the Tonkatsu Drunken Noodles and it was so flavorful. My problem isn't with the food but with some of the rude staff. The lady that was ringing up our food was EXTREMELY rude for absolutely no reason and just tainted our experience. It was my first time in Fargo and a friend of mine told me about this place. Instead of maybe asking us if we had ever been there or needed help, we were given smirks and just this disgusting look, for again no reason. Good, but not great. It sort of reminded me of an Asian spin on Noodles & Co with a more hipster atmosphere. I ordered the Bamee Gaeng, which included egg noodles, chicken, lots of bok choy and other veggies in an extra spicy red curry sauce. The curry sauce was pretty good, nice and creamy and definitely not for those who are sensitive to heat. The prices were slightly high for the portion sizes I felt. There wasn't enough noodles or chicken in my opinion. The restaurant appears to be owned by the same people as Wasabi next door (which I enjoyed quite a bit more than DN I must admit). read more

Well I walked in and wanted to ask if they happened to carry ChopSoy - which is usually a Chinese dish , and therefor happened to start my question with " you know in some Chinese restaurants they serv..." boom - Dr Fauci interrupted me harshly with the statement that this wasn't a Chinese restaurant. We should have walked out - but I got it together and ordered something standard for my wife and myself - ordered together, paid together with about three couples in line behind us. Not just that every one of those couples got all their food in a timely manner and ate and finished before us, while we waited for our food-- which was basic yet fascinatingly mediocre by taste - they actually managed that I had my food served and had to wait another 15 minutes before my wife got hers - just saying ..... they want tips, higher wages for that type of service and performance !!! We only tipped up front because we didn't want to cause a purposely instigated delay or messing up our food - well that clearly did t help because that is exactly what happened - so we wasted money twice - on the food/ visit AND the tip for the crew - clear thumbs down! read more

Yes. Finally a place in the great north that has a beef broth to suffice a delicious pho. Ate here yesterday and I'm still in a fog of ecstasy over the perfection this place is and I hope will continue to be. Reasonably priced and delicious means I will be a local for sure. It's such a comfort. FYI it's next to a sushi and cool coffee place. And across the street is a Pokémon Gym, if that's your thing, that can be reached from the front booth so that's another layer of this metaphorical amaze-balls cake.
