The battery is completely covered, but can be recharged without removing any parts. If the battery needs to be replaced, it does require removing some pieces. Andi was nice enough to fit me in and agreed a new battery was the right call. He put in a Bosch and was kind enough to point out some tips. I will continue using Andi.
