Took my brand new wedding ceremony dress here before we departed for our elopement. Used the…read moredrive-through for pick up and it was placed in my vehicle. When we arrived at our ceremony location, I put the dress on only to find a hole was ripped in the skirt. I had to turn the skirt sideways in the ceremony so the hole wouldn't face the crowd. Reported it to the owner(?) when I returned and he acknowledged he had seen the hole after dry cleaning (would have been nice to mention this upon pick up), of course did the same deflection reported in other posts saying "it looks like there was an issue with the fabric" (*see photo where it very clearly was snagged on something DURING cleaning: you can clearly see the creases in the fabric so this was not an issue before and was done during cleaning). He did offer to send it to a tailor, but also said, "if it is over $40, I'm not playing that of course." I was reluctant to leave any items with him but he assured me they wouldn't be damaged and he would "figure out the bill." I just picked up the items (yet to be inspected for damage) and paid full price for everything. I was really just looking for ownership of the mistake (it happens), an apology and maybe a refund of the dry cleaning fee of the damaged dress. Thankfully the dress wasn't very expensive. Needless to say, we won't be returning.
