Took my brand new wedding ceremony dress here before we departed for our elopement. Used the drive-through for pick up and it was placed in my vehicle. When we arrived at our ceremony location, I put the dress on only to find a hole was ripped in the skirt. I had to turn the skirt sideways in the ceremony so the hole wouldn't face the crowd. Reported it to the owner(?) when I returned and he acknowledged he had seen the hole after dry cleaning (would have been nice to mention this upon pick up), of course did the same deflection reported in other posts saying "it looks like there was an issue with the fabric" (*see photo where it very clearly was snagged on something DURING cleaning: you can clearly see the creases in the fabric so this was not an issue before and was done during cleaning). He did offer to send it to a tailor, but also said, "if it is over $40, I'm not playing that of course." I was reluctant to leave any items with him but he assured me they wouldn't be damaged and he would "figure out the bill." I just picked up the items (yet to be inspected for damage) and paid full price for everything. I was really just looking for ownership of the mistake (it happens), an apology and maybe a refund of the dry cleaning fee of the damaged dress. Thankfully the dress wasn't very expensive. My family has been loyal to Perry Cleaners for years--my dad has used them since I was a kid and always spoke highly of them. After recently moving back to Garland, we decided to start using them for our work clothes, and so far, the experience has been great. One of my favorite things about this cleaners is the drive-thru service. I don't even have to get out of the car--they come to you to grab your clothes, and when you pick them up, they bring everything right back out. It's incredibly convenient, especially during a busy week. I also love that if you drop your clothes off before 8:00 a.m., you can get same-day service, which has been a lifesaver more than once. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I've never had an issue with service or quality. We usually bring in about 6 polos and 6 khaki pants for my husband, plus 3 polos and 3 pants for me. We pay around $80 per week, which feels very reasonable for the time saved and the consistent quality. Overall, we've been very happy and plan to keep coming back. Ripped/burned my husband's Ralph Lauren dress slacks. They tried to tell us the hole was there before. He just wore them to church day before. He rarely wore them so definitely not wear and tear. I changed when my regular cleaners kept raising their prices, so I don't find these prices so high, especially given the quality of their work and reliability. Extremely expensive! Two men's shirts and one par of slacks and it was twenty six dollars

Ok so I've been taking my shirts here for awhile. I give them 4 stars because I have yet to have a problem with the quality of their service. My shirts always look great and the requested starch and special instructions always seem tho be carried out. However, they are not cheap. If you come here and have some potential stains on a shirt, they will suggest that you have it "dry cleaned" for $4.99. Quite expensive if you ask me. Also I recently brought a CK knit polo here so I didn't have to worry about ironing it. However when I picked it up they had dry cleaned it without telling me. So that's $4.99 vs the usual $1.?? for a polo that had no stains. I asked about this and they said they do not launder polos and only dry cleaned them. Wish I had been told that when I dropped it off. Overall they have had the best quality of all the places I've tried. Unfortunately, the quality I'm referring to is what I would expect from any dry cleaner. However, all of the places I've been to have been subpar. This my go to place but looking for a new on due to the prices. read more

Decided to stop by this new cleaners on the way to work. I'm picky about Cleaner establishments. I prefer an in-house operation vs one where they ship your stuff off. This is one of those in-house operations AND they have a Drive-Thru whut! whut!? Anyhoo picked up my cleaning and I swear on my mama.... their prices are about 40% less than what I paid in North Dallas. They are the bomb, and they have a customer for as long as i'm working in this area. If you are in Garland, it's a no brainer, use them! read more

Extremely expensive dry cleaning service! Even with their small discount coupons, this is the most expensive dry cleaner I have used. (And the quality is not better than less expensive options) $5.15 for a woman's blouse vs $1.50 for a mans shirt. When I dropped off my wife's cotton shirts and asked them to be laundered, I got several excuses why they couldn't be done such as the press used is sized for men (they don't make a smaller one for women's shirts?) and it takes more time to do a woman's shirt (so much more time to justify a 300% increase in price?). Well guess what? They were pressed just like my shirts. The only difference? A different hanger and tissue in the sleeves. I will never use this vendor again. Bad attitude, overpriced, and no differentiating service over less expensive vendors. read more

This place is horrible I decided to give this place a try because it was closer to home. I've bring 6 jacket here to be dry clean including leather and wool jacket. I took my wool coat to have dry clean because my kids spilled milk on it. My wool jackets was never clean I still have bunch of milk stains on it. My coat now have a very strong chemical smell that would make your head hurt. My husband vest got damaged it was ripped. It was not damaged when I give it to them. They ripped it than they put a tag labeling "defective condition before cleaning". This place is a crook and will they will ruined yours belonging. I'm disappointed and very unhappy. read more

Do not bring anything important here. I brought my wedding dress here to dry clean few days before my wedding and it got multiple tears. Manager said it was because the dress wasn't "well made". First off, wedding dresses cost a lot to not be "well made" also it is dry cleaning not industrial washing machine. It should just be steamed. The girl was helping me also said that the top part of my dress was hand washed. Just no! Got a refund and went straight to David's Bridal for to get it fix. read more

Because of the previous comments made I asked the price for each of my items. Not only did they give me a price they have a print out of their prices. I'm done using this Cleaners. This is the second time they've lost my clothes. They try to give me someone else's clothes and insist they are mine. The clothes they try to give me aren't my size and are not brands I buy. The employee was rude and said she didn't have time to research the issue because she was too busy. This location has apparently changed management. Three to four years ago, I had my king-sized comforter dry-cleaned at this location. I recently returned to have the same service with a coupon. I am 100% certain that my comforter was LAUNDERED not DRY-CLEANED. Then, I was charged $10 per sham cover to have them dry-cleaned. $20 to dry-clean two king-sized sham covers??? REALLY??? Beware-- 2 king-size pillow shams are considered "household items" at this location; thus the $10 charge. The shams are smaller than a standard bath towel!!!!! To conclude, the older gentleman attendant was a jerk! I have frequented Perry's for many years, as my son also took all of his office attire to this location for dry-cleaning. NO MORE. This location RUINED my comforter. It was incredibly wrinkled. Price gouging was most definitely attributable to what was an overall rotten experience. NEVER again! Don't take your garments or bedding items to this business. You will DEFINITELY regret it. read more

I have been using this cleaners for years. In the beginning, I had to put up with buttons on my dress shirts being crushed. It got to the point that I would check every shirt before leaving. Lately the problem has been the attitude of the employees AND management. Friday morning early, my wife dropped of a bag of laundry in their express drop. I was told later that the owner of the store opened on that morning. I guess being the owner means you do not have to follow your own rules of checking for overnight bags? When my wife and I returned Friday afternoon to retrieve our laundry, the girl at the counter looked at me and said you don't have anything here to pick up. My wife said she dropped it off and the girl just said it's not here, insinuating my wife is a liar. They finally found the bag of clothes and immediately blamed the owner. They said they were sorry a few times and closed the door on me. They made no serious offer to resolve the issue. What a way to run off a 10 year customer. read more

I accidentally left a t-shirt in my bag of dress shirts that I dropped off for launder and press. ($1.89/shirt) When I picked them up they had dry-cleaned the pit-stained t-shirt and charged me $6 for just the t-shirt. The t-shirt cost maybe $2 brand new. I did not request they dry-clean anything yet they took it on themselves to dry-clean a t-shirt. I was told a manager would call me about it. Never heard anything. Cleaners are a dime a dozen. My old cleaner closed it's doors so I had to find a new one. We choose to give Perry's Cleaners on Shiloh a try. The first time we went to pick up our clothes, the counter staff claimed that our cleaning had already been picked up! This was not possible as it was my wife (the only other person on the account) that asked me to pick the clothes up. The staff seemed to flounder and didn't seem to know how to find our clothes. All they would do is look at their computer records. Two employees were in the store and no other customers were there but neither of the staff would go and look at their racks. I received a phone call latter that evening saying that our clothes had been located and were ready to pick up. Since it was close to their closing time, it was impossible for me to get to their location before they closed. The apology the caller left on my answering machine was not convincing. The next day I again arrived to pick up our clothing. The counter help offered no explanation for why they misplaced my clothes and charged me full price despite my expressed disappointment with their service, lack of explanation, or an apology. I contacted the store manager (she said her name was Patty.) I explained my disappointments. She was very defensive and did not seem to care that one of her customers was dissatisfied. She only wanted to defend herself though there were no accusations made. I requested an explanation as to why my clothing was lost. She stated that the clothes had been mis-racked. She offered no reason why I was told the clothes had already been picked up when I first visited. She offered no remedy even after I told her this had been our first experience with her business and I had reservations about continuing our association. The overall experience I had with this establishment was that: (1) it was run very inefficiently (2) they seem to have a history of mishandling customer's clothing (3) they did not care about their customer satisfaction * It is needless to say that I will not take my business their again and I suggest no one else does that cares about their clothing. read more

I visited for the first time today. A young woman came in while I was picking up some shirts and the way she was treated I was shocked. She brought in a shirt and talked to the owner. She said that she had picked up her husbands shirt like this and it had a spot and 2 holes. The owner spoke to her very rudely. He was condescending and I will not be going back. Standing behind their service is one thing, but treating someone like that is not right. He pretty much called her a liar when she said that she had didn't bring the shirt with holes in like that. It was obvious that it had been burned because there was a yellow spot on the back of the shirt like their steamers and two large holes. What happened to customer service? She was a nice lady and didn't raise her voice to him, and my wife would have. He just kept saying they didn't do that to the shirt. And after she left he smiled. That is just sad. read more
