I had eloped in Chicago a month ago, so it was dirty along the hemline from walking around. We had a delayed reception and I was wanting to wear the dress again for those close to us and photo opportunities. When I dropped off the dress in the beginning of October, I had asked to have it back in a couple of weeks, by the 16th. Becky said no problem, they would have it the 13th. No phone calls were made to me, but I stopped by on the 19th and the dress was nowhere to be found. Becky found my ticket in a stack with others, mentioned it must be out to be pressed, and wrote a note to call me. I told her I would be back on the 22nd because I needed it that day. Still no word and becoming a nervous wreck, I had called the afternoon of the 21st to check status, Becky still didn't have the dress! She called me back in a few minutes claiming her boss would have it there by 4pm. I asked for a call when the dress actually arrived so I could pick up. She had called after 4:30p to tell me the dress was there, but they close at 5pm (which is different than what's posted on Google), so I told her I would pick up on the morning of the 22nd. I was hoping with the lack of customer service, the fact the dress wasn't available when promised and that it literally wasn't ready until the day needed, that I would be given a discount. Nope! I arrived 9am on the 22nd for pick up and was charged $50...and it must be cash or check. I was happy to have the dress and when I needed it, and it looked great...until I went to put it on. The cup which was sewn on from the bridal store was barely attached. Thankfully my husband is handy and he was able to tack it into place for me. There also is what looks like a blood stain on the hemline, which seems extremely odd. After all the stress, anxiety and lack of care for my garment, I have to say that they will not retain my business. I'm utterly disappointed, not just with the condition of my dress after pick up, but the subpar customer service, no concern for the unhappy customer or offer to rectify or apologize.

It took a little longer than other places might take - 6 days, but I'm really happy with the results and the price point. Occasionally, I'll make this trip here specifically just to drop off clothes. I can't stress this next point enough, the clothes come back like-new. You know those collar and cuff stains that darken your shirt (i know, gross)? They'll get that out. Seriously, I think there's a full-time Harry Potter doing incantations all day long in the back getting that out. Ever got blood on your white dress shirt? They'll get it out. Finally, idk if they press the pants, but there's some serious black magic going on here, the clothes come back with perfect creases. I went to a CD one price cleaners once, and they created a brand new line/crease running along my pants. You won't find none of that incompetence here. Nothing irritates me more than incompetence. On a side note, this place is family owned by a very nice couple that you'll never have a problem with. They usually ask, "when do you want it by," and if you catch what they're implying in this question, it's that they'll clean your clothes asap if you need it same day. When I arrived with a bagful of men's shirts and requested for that, I was told the 99 cents apply with at least 1 piece of drycleaning (pants dry clean $3.75). Since most of my clothes required drycleaning, I thought I would give them a shot. The husband-and-wife team are Korean, and their customer service is top notch. I haven't quite taken the effort to do the math, but I have been returning to them since. They even sewed a missing button on for free, and even managed to remove the stubborn yellow sweat stains from my white tunic. What more could one ask for? In the meantime, I will continue going to them.

It was dry and nice. I'm so happy with their output. They gave their best to satisfy their customers. I'd love to go there every time I have dirty clothes. But, lets focus. I couldn't (h)yelp myself but to give this cleaner/tailor 5 starts! Yea! Lets be frank (that means candid here in the Midwest), most cleaners do an ok job. They also usually don't do a GREAT job tailoring. Not the case here. I always find a tailor where I live. I like to buy clothes a little bigger or on the sale rack and have them fit to size (or to me that is). I have taken a shirt that my parents gave me for x-mas (being a good son I want to wear it) here to get sized. My parents usually get one of two things wrong: size, style. In this case (whew), they got the size wrong. I brought this in and it came back better than I could have asked. The owner (I assume because he is there everyday) even said, "you buy more slim next time." As if he didn't want my business. What a guy. Then, I got a sweet pair of Rock & Republic jeans for $80 (normally $250+). But, they were more like the baggy style of the 90's. So, I took in a pair that I sleep in (meaning that I wear often - it was hard not to have them for the week), and asked him to mimic the R&R to match the "sample." What do you think happened? Yep, he nailed it (doing the "yes" like Christina Applegate in Anchorman)! I have new jammys. :) Overall, this place is just one of the best in a long line of taking a chance wanna beeees. If you have to drive 30 mins, just do it. I'll walk the two miles there if I have to. Oh, the dry cleaning is on the money also.

I dropped off some clothing, including an expensive shirt I bought recently that was getting dry cleaned for the first time. When I picked my items up I noticed that the graphic on the shirt looked like it had been scraped off in multiple areas. I showed it to the employee there and she literally told me, "Return it back to where you bought it from. The manufacturer has incorrect cleaning instructions on the washtag and it's not our fault". As if Versace made a mistake! As if any store is going to let you return a damaged shirt! They promised me that they would get it fixed and to come back next week. I came back and guess what? The shirt is in EVEN WORSE condition (I attached a pic). The employees continued to try and blame the clothing brand instead of taking responsibility. Not only that, but they refused to offer me any type of compensation. I had to argue with the employee just to get a refund for this even though they ruined it!!!! Take my advice and the advice of the other guy who had their clothing messed up by this place... don't come here.
