I've been to this store a few times. They are convenient to one of my startup's clients, another liquor store. Their selection is pretty generic and if you comparison shop, their prices are higher than many other local liquor stores. I've always felt talked down to, but it didn't bother me until their sommelier leveled a personal attack against me online (attached picture). When I came into the store to seek clarification, the manager, Chris, acknowledged that their wine expert could "be a bit of a hothead." His words, not mine. If I were you, I'd look at better local options or shop at one of their competitors on Drizly. I hope this store improves because Colorado desperately needs good wine, beer, and spirits stores. read more

One of the family members 30-40yr old daughter was a rude person. I always come in and spend a lot of money and I say a stupid joke "It's not free?" when she rings up my purchase (I always Pay, not a penny short). Well today she was not having it and stated why shgould I pay for your beer, I replied its a joke and I ment nothing. She said its not funny everytime you come in here and say it, I replied I'm sorry I was just trying to be funny and I dont mean anything by it, again she said its not funny. I walked in here because I heard they had a decent selection of bourbons. The prices are ridiculous. They had eagle rate for 90 bucks when it's 45 retail. They had a bottle of blantons for 200! It's about 70 retail. They had Elijah Craig at 300 bucks! Retail it's 150-200 at the most. They're literally trying to rip people off on purpose. CHECK THE BEST BUY DATES ON YOUR BEER. On October 8, 2024 I bought a 12 pack of Amber Alasakan Beer. Got home - best buy date was July 16, 2024. Over 3 months past the date and still selling it. Sure if it was a whiskey, but beer? When I called, all I got was a "oh, ok" - no bring it back and we will replace or not even an apology or a thanks for letting us know. I then said "Thank you for wasting my money" and yes, the beer was flat. After all it was 3 months after the best buy date. They do not care about their customers or customer service. read more

Unfriendly staff, okay selection. They'll say that one of the other workers in the isles could help you. Those folks don't know jack. Ask them what they think of it. Likely no answer. Ask them to try it, try the bottle with them. They then you try it. Can't charge you for a sample and it was sit either way ay If you don't know what your going for, not bad. If your looking for suggestions/advice steer clear. This place isn't for you. Don't trust the salesman. Avoid at all costs! Go to Davidson's or Southglenn. I'm glad to see others have had the same horrible experience with the cashiers at this store. I have never met such rude, stuck-up workers. I had been coming to this store for three years (I live across the street) and always had a hard time tolerating the attitudes. They are no help when you're looking for something and have been rude to my guests as well. But when I went in there to get a few last boxes from my move they were super rude about it and wanted to charge $.25 cents each. I didn't have cash and they were like "too bad" so I left empty-handed. That decision has cost them a lot - not just my business but plenty of others in the neighborhood. read more

I was refused a purchase only because I was limping, appearing disheveled. I've been coming to this store for 2 years, but only when convenient as service quality has much to be desired. I am a business man who is often well-dressed. I recently endured a severe ankle injury. Being confined to a couch and having to Uber everywhere (left foot, I drive a manual) my dress of choice has been severely limited to loose, unappealing clothing. And I have to limp. For a while. I should be able to have a beer while I sit here on my ass. So, if anyone has an appearance that could be remotely construed as disheveled for any reason, go to the next closest store and they are happy to help you. Don't waste your drive or walk time risking it. I recommend Cherry Knolls as it's very close proximity, plus they have a rewards program and all staff are always friendly and helpful even if you're coming from the gym in sweats. I will no longer be a customer at this store. If anyone reading wants a reliable, reasonable, trustworthy and friendly service store, make sure to find anywhere else, even if you look a bit shabby at the time. read more

Impressive selection of wines for a smaller place. They also carry some novelty and unusual spirits, beers, etc, so browsing here is always fun with the wide and surprising selection they boast. I've gotten wines, etc. for several family events here and, though I already knew what I wanted generally when I walked in the store, was always able to find what I wanted (or something even better). Staff isn't particularly in your face asking if you need help, but since I haven't had any questions yet about anything, this really doesn't bother me, and I actually prefer browsing solo. I have never been treated so rudely. I came into this liquor store with my family and when paying with my visa (which says see id) the clerk commented I don't understand why people who write this on their card don't do the courtesy of handing their id with their card. she again stated that I was not being courteous right in front of my family. I had my ID ready and waiting. Seems it is better to be rude to your customers than be COURTEOUS yourself.
