Very patient with my indecision of frame choice and was able to assist me in narrowing down frames I may like. In closing, there is a reason all of NorthStar Eye Care's reviews consist of 5-Stars. The only thing that could have made this appointment better would have been a pina colada, but then one's vision would get blurry and you may walk out of the office wearing a pair of pint glasses; rather than some fashionable frames.

The staff was very friendly and patient with me AND with my two year old running around in their play area! Even though the store was busy at the time, they went out of their way to show me and give me their opinion on a wide selection of frames, without making me feel rushed. I was paired with a staff member with a similar prescription (the store manager, Odessa) which turned out to be very helpful in selecting frames as well as lens options that best suited that prescription. We had narrowed it down to two frames, and when I couldn't decide between them, she offered to take pictures of me with both so that I could see them from different angles. A small thing, but another example of their attentiveness and above-and-beyond service. My glasses arrived very quickly and exactly as expected, and I received the same great service when I picked them up and had them fitted. I would definitely go back!

Note: I'm not having any issues but scheduled my annual & routine eye check up. At the appointment they start by doing some standard tests and then the DR does their normal and routine tests. If they don't find any eye issues, I only pay the $10.00 co-pay. However, (little did I know) if they find an eye condition they automatically change this to a medical appointment which now costs $65.23. Here is my complaint. The only thing different is them telling me about the condition of my eyes. So instead of saying your eyes are perfect and come back in a year they tell you about an eye condition, they'll keep an eye on it and come back in a year. Is this not the purpose of a check up is to find out the condition of your eyes. Let me repeat: Nothing (no tests, eye checks) was done different from it being a $10.00 visit to a $65.23 visit except they TOLD me about a situation with my eye. There was absolutely no additional work done during that appointment. When I have my dental check-ups they tell me the condition of my teeth. If they find work that needs to be done they don't go back and charge me for the check up. We move forward with my treatment plan. United Health Care said they pay according to the code the doctor's use. The Eye Care Clinic changing this to medical billing generates more money for them and more out of pocket for the customer. Overall their flow of getting you on and out felt seamless. The staff swiftly moved me through all of the steps to check my eyes. I did have to wait for my eyes to dilate, so they had me look at frames to save time instead of sitting in a room waiting. I've always been impressed with how personable all of their staff is, and how much they really want you to be happy in your frames. I picked my frames up 2 weeks later, a week ahead of promised timeframe. Overall if you're looking for an eye clinic in the area, it's an amazing option to choose.
