I was educated about every step of my exam and even got to see images of my retina! I didn't feel rushed at all and he really took the time to explain his findings and to answer all my questions. Kimberly helped me pick out my frames and suggested enhancements to prevent breakage (which is a necessity with a 9 month old!). Overall their flow of getting you on and out felt seamless. The staff swiftly moved me through all of the steps to check my eyes. I did have to wait for my eyes to dilate, so they had me look at frames to save time instead of sitting in a room waiting. I've always been impressed with how personable all of their staff is, and how much they really want you to be happy in your frames. I picked my frames up 2 weeks later, a week ahead of promised timeframe. Overall if you're looking for an eye clinic in the area, it's an amazing option to choose.

She was very thorough in testing my vision and helping me understand the different lens types to accommodate the presbyopia I've recently started experiencing. I also have dry eyes, which introduces another complication when choosing frames. This clinic is one of the only providers of 7eye frames (for dry eyes) in the twin cities, and Dr. Ko was very patient, taking the time to ensure I understood all of my options before choosing a frame. She also has a wealth of holistic knowledge about dry eyes and was able to provide useful insight around treatments, etc. The entire staff was very kind, friendly, and professional. They're really empathetic and dedicated to providing the best service possible.

My appointment felt rushed, and I am mildly concerned my prescription isn't going to work for me. Now, this is something that will need to be addressed when I order new glasses. I am disappointed that when giving me a prescription, they did not give me a PD measurement. They knew I was looking to purchase new glasses, and if their selection wasn't so limited - it would've been through them. The person I worked with to look for glasses was patient with me as I was looking for something a bit out of the box when it came to frames, but again - knowing my intention of getting glasses - they should've provided a PD. Period. I will not be returning, but for a routine eye exam I guess this was an OKAY experience. Not what I'm used to, as I do expect a degree of thoroughness when it comes to eye exams and my vision needs. Note: When reaching out to the office for my PD measurement, assuming it was simply missed on my prescription they stated they do not give that measurement unless the patient is purchasing glasses. This is not standard practice, based on my experience. I've been wearing glasses for quite some time, and typically prescriptions come with a PD. Granted, I did move here from Alaska - so perhaps in Minnesota the "eye care practices" differ.

Finding this eye care center was easy, the staff was incredibly professional and kind! I'm currently on crutches so just the small act of letting me sit and bring the clipboard and paperwork to me versus making me struggling and stand at the counter meant a lot to me. I met with Dr. Beers and he was very patient, answered all of my questions, and helped me feel comfortable about my eye options. I had lasik in 2015 and my eyes aren't terrible but slowly getting a prescription - he made it super easy for me to fax my charts and papers over to my lasik provider to maintain my lifetime warranty and it was overall a really great experience! I have had terrible eyesight and have needed glasses since I was 9, going to the eye doctor is equivalent to the anxiety most people feel going to the dentist and they really put me at ease. I'm glad I found them and will be staying with them as long as they'll have me as a patient!

This past summer I came in for my annual checkup, purchased a couple pair of glasses, and ran into a few issues. This was the very first time I questioned the service I received in 20+ years. I listed out my issues in an email and requested the email be forwarded to Dr. Rossow as I was hoping to bring awareness of the concerns from a long-time customer. Here's my interpretation of the email I got back from the "Director of Operations" when I questioned the confusing invoice, the quality of service I received from the office staff, their BOHO program and being charged double what was reasonable for what I purchased. "I'm not going to pass your concerns on to your Dr. Rossow because we don't want him to know we don't care if you're unhappy / dissatisfied and if you go somewhere else..." "Eye insurance is very confusing....and even though we have 100% control over making your bill / invoice less confusing, we're not going to do it" "Your just one person and we don't care if we loose one good customer - our business model allows for disgruntled customers because we overcharge so much" There's a lot more that I could say, but I will just wrap this up by saying they've lost my business...and my wife's business....and my three daughter's business....so I hope that extra $200 you got from me was worth it... * I am sure someone from Kennedy Vision will respond to this review and express their sincere apologies for my experience and state their commitment to customer service...but remember, that's only when I am posting a review for others to see.
