    Amaretto latte

A really nice coffee shop off the beaten path in New Paltz. They have a good menu with all your typical drinks with some seasonal specials. I highly recommend the amaretto and campfire specials. They served baked goods and food and both are fresh and tasty. It is a smaller space with limited seating. I personally love the back porch. It is a bit colder outside, but the view makes it worth it. Service is decently paced unless it's Uber busy, then it could be a bit slower, but it's not anything too extremely long. Staff are quite friendly. Would recommend

Great coffee shop spot in the area. Beautiful location. We stopped by for a quick cup of coffee before graying to the Mohonk preserve hiking trail. Looked like it is a family run business. It has an open kitchen, a small gift shop in one corner, then the register in the other corner. Service is quick, pricing is reasonable. We were not asked how we want our ordered coffee. Make sure you tell when you come by. Coffee is alright. Nothing really significant in my order. Hubby enjoyed his pumpkin spiced flavored. Not much sitting table inside. We stayed outside and basked under the sun.

Really solid breakfast sandwich before our hike and the wait wasn't bad. There was a whole fridge of locally brewed beers which was cool.

Me, my wife and two friends arrived at New Paltz early in the morning today to hike in the Mohonk mountain preserve but we decided to stop at this place to first have some coffee. There was a long line inside but the service was quick, it seems most of the costumers are locals because most of them are greeting and talking to each other. The joint was clean, staff were nice. The pumpkin spice latte that I ordered tasted really well. I like the relaxed atmosphere inside and outside. I give four stars for the cleanliness, quick service, good vibe atmosphere of the place and the quality of the beverage that I tried from them. This seems the kind of place that I can be a regular costumer if I live in this area.

Cute place in a small, walkable village with other shops and restaurants. Good coffee. Only problem is that there is no indoor seating and when it's January - it's too cold to be having coffee outside!

Dubliner breakfast wrap, egg panini, iced coffee, and a hot latte.

The food and coffee are excellent here. Made fresh to order. My only complaint was we were effectively bullied off the line because they only had food menus hanging right next to the register with small text. Locals who knew what they wanted already were eager to order. As we sat there, we heard more first time visitors asking if they had a food menu. Maybe add a chalk board that is more visible? Or post it on Yelp.

They were very accommodating as we came on a Friday night and were able to seat a large group. I tried the cheese curds, coconut shrimp, sweet potato tots, sweet chili Brussels sprouts, and a cheeseburger. Consistency was good across the board. They have gendered restrooms. The men's room had a private stall. Service did a good job of accommodating our large group.

We have not visited for a few years and came back last Saturday, bringing friends as we raved about it to them and a few were looking specifically for that famous beer list. Well, things have changed for the worst. The place was not even that full around 6 PM. It was 8 of us and maybe 1-2 tables with no more than 4 people at them. It took good 15 minutes just to get our beers and soft drinks. The burgers and steaks were all overdone, none were at the correct temp. One person's dish was brought after everyone else basically finished their meal. Our salad was not brought at all and when I asked them to take it off the bill at the end, they asked if I want to pack it to go. Never again.

After we parked we saw Sideshow on the way and decided to check out the menu. It sounded very intriguing so we decided to go there instead. My only complaint is that I really wanted one of their specials, the Smoked Turkey Salad Sandwich, but they were sold out. I was very disappointed as I was really looking forward to the smoked Gouda, but I can't hold the fact that it was really popular against them. Instead I settled on the Golden Goddess Grilled Chicken Wrap and the Jalapeno Corn Chowder as a starter. I think the chowder was missing a little something flavor wise (not sure what), but it had a nice kick to it and I was satisfied with it overall. Loved the cornbread on the side. The sandwich was great and the crispy potato skin fries were hot, fresh and delicious. The rest of my family inhaled the smoked chicken wings with the Jalapeno Mango glaze as a starter. They must have been good as I barely got a taste. For a main course my other half had the Sliced Steak Sandwich and my kids chose the Sideshow Burger (with a side salad) and the Spicy Shrimp Orecchiette (pasta) special. My son wasn't crazy about the special sauce on the burger, but otherwise everyone was happy. Two of us had enough left overs for our lunch the next day. I was really happy with the size of the starters as they were a great addition to the meal, but not overly filling where you couldn't eat your main entree. The inside of the restaurant was smaller than I expected, but it had a pleasant atmosphere. I was happy about the fact that although they had TVs playing the World Cup in the background the TVs didn't overwhelm the space. We did notice the employees had to bring new supplies/food in through the front door to take to the kitchen repeatedly while we were there. They don't appear to have access directly into the kitchen from outside, which is a little odd. A limitation in the design I suppose. Our waitress was very friendly and pleasant. We ended our meal with a delicious Chocolate Chip Cookie Strudel. We will definitely be back again.

On the weekends it turns on a late-night party scene filled with college students. It is lined up right in Main Street with other smaller restaurants and bars. This was one of my favorite cheap eateries in the town while I was in college. I have been here twice since for happy hour specials. I ordered the chicken wings and the shrimp tacos. The drinks were around $5 which is a steal compared to New York City prices. In the past they used to offer a large fishbowl drink for your birthday. It was huge and took several people to drink it. Currently it is the size of a large cup as you can see in the picture. It does the job but it is much smaller than what it was in 2010. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. I usually sit at the bar which is a great place to meet others and watch the game. Everyone usually comes in for drinks and a quick meal. There are large tables for families to come in and spread out. Everyone was nice here. I plan to come back soon and take advantage of the happy hour specials again.
