Beware- If you have extensions, do not get your hair blown out here. If I could rate 0 stars I would. They charge $20 extra if you have extensions and they were so harsh on my hair that my extensions ripped out. I went back and forth about getting a refund because it ended up being almost a $100 for a blowout and then I never heard back from anyone. I had to rush into my hair salon to get them sewn back into my head. I just don't want anyone else to have this same experience.

In and out - my kinda party. DryBar has been my staple for years when I was in NY so I had no doubts when I saw this location. My hairdresser Destiny was super sweet and slayed my hair to perfection. My hair was light and bouncy , just how I like it. If you are on the run, great place to check out. I love this new membership option as it's a massive game-changer in terms of savings. Looking forward to my next blowout :)

This place is great, I made an appointment online as I was coming from out of town. I was greeted immediately when arriving. My stylist Whitney was extremely professional and did an AMAZING job. I got compliments all night long. My curls even looked good the follow day. She did such a good job, i I even came back the following week to see her again. I definitely recommend asking for her.

I come here because I know the end result will be good. I've tried several of the stylists and they've all been great. I think it's also reasonably priced. Parking around here can be difficult on weekends- although they have a lot behind the storefronts, it can be hard to find a space. I would also love if they opened at 7 as many other drybar locations do. A 7am appointment is really helpful for getting your hair done before work or before a big day. I also miss the days when you would be offered coffee (or champagne or soda) at the beginning of your appointment, hoping that comes back once the mask mandate is lifted!

I'm kind of conflicted, as there many different factors affecting this, but overall I've…read moreexperienced better. I called and made a last minute appointment for a blow out at a time close to what I was looking for (I wasn't going to complain, I was surprised to get in at all). Hours later I arrive, to a locked door, and a girl finally lets me in from the rain and asks if I'm here for a tan. When I tell her no she looks extremely confused and then can't find me in the computer, but she says we'll get started right away. She asks what I'm looking for and I mention the "dilworth" (one of the styles mentioned on the site), no glimmer of recognition in her face, so then I just say "some volume and some curls". As she's speeding through my hair with a fifteen second shampoo and a twenty second conditioning, I honestly start to think I'm in the wrong place. Am I going to get a call in ten minutes from another salon asking why I'm not there? The girl keeps asking me about my phone call that morning, do I know who I talked to, do I remember when I called. It's become very obvious she was ready to go home early, and I'd ruined it. But I see the wine glasses and remember the mention of wine on the site, and they carry bumble and bumble like the site I looked at... I have to be in the right place. She uses assorted sizes of round brushes in my hair as "curlers" as she's drying it, and as I get up to look at it finally offers to use a curling iron... Yeah, that'd be great. So she divides my hair into five section, curls each of those, and then curls my bangs. However, she hasn't even taken the time to dry my bangs correctly, so a portion of them just don't want to cooperate, and I'm not sure she cared. She knows I'm going out that night and knows the weather, so I'm happy to hear what sounds like tons of hair spray going on my hair, cause it's gonna need it. As I'm checking out we discover one of the women still there took my call and accidentally put me in as a tan. Mystery solved. I pay the $35 and tip and head home, head covered. As I start preparing for the evening about 30 minutes later, I realize my hair has gone almost completely flat. I have a slight wave and my Farrah Fawcett bangs left, so I run to my own bottle of hair spray and save what I can. So much for the site's claim that the styles should last several days! I was happy for my curled bangs and the temporary volume, not going to lie, but for what I paid I almost wish she would have turned me away at the door.

Their motto is "No Cuts, No Color, Just Style" and that's what I got. I came into the salon (which also houses Gorgeous Glo) and picked out my style (all styles are named after Charlotte neighborhoods) and the best part--I was in and out in about 30 minutes. What?! This is unheard of...but it did happen! I am living proof. They also just opened up a second location in SouthPark. Worth giving a try and especially good for the busy woman on the go!

After several months with hair I was unhappy with, I was back at my search. After hours of searching online, I stumbled upon Reyn. It's always a risk making an apppointment with someone based on instagram photos but I wanted to give it a try. I texted her and she responded asking for a picture of my current hair and my goals. I loved that she asked this prior to my appointment! She is in a great location in a cute space within Sola Salon and was instantly welcoming. We spent time talking about my hair...what I liked, didn't like, current maintenance, what I wanted to see. She prepared me that it would take more than one visit to achieve the photo and was honest that the warm tones I don't like about my hair are there to stay but what we can do to achieve my goals and the maintenance involved (I told her I'm a low maintenance girl, especially since I was pregnant!) My first coloring with her was pretty darn close to the picture considering the current state of my hair! Reyn asked if I wanted a haircut. While I was trying to grow my hair out, I figured it was a good time to start fresh and get my hair back to being healthy. I am so glad I did because I loved the results! I recently went back for my 2nd visit and let's just say I already have my 3rd booked! I am sooooo happy with my hair and thankful to have found such a talented stylist!

Reyn has a background with Carmen and Aveda, is color knowledgeable, super sweet, pays attention to detail, and really listens to what you want. She also uses Sebastian color and hair care products, so buying from her is very reasonable in cost! My roots were dark and colored by Aveda. Because of her background with Aveda products, she knew exactly how to mend what my previous stylist did and blend my roots into my blonde. I also got quite a few inches off and she did a fab job, and even incorporated layers and framed my face. I could not have been happier with my first experience with her. I'm now a dedicated regular! She's got an Instagram that's helpful when thinking about styles you're interested in. Pro tip: getting to her salon can be a little confusing. It's inside a big tan office building. You walk into the doors under the Sola Salon canopy. Once through there, take a left and walk down the hall until you reach suite 124. Sola is made up of a bunch of little salons inside, so Stella's feels very intimate in its cute little cube.

I was lucky to score a 5:30 appointment yesterday and get parking in their lot (score)! I found the old B&B very charming but I wasn't really sure where to go...I wished my hair dresser gave me some direction as to what room was hers. Eventually I asked another stylist and met Christy who was very polite and quickly got started right on time. She consulted with me and upfront stated her prices ... The cost was about $30 more (when you factor in tip) than my stylist who was by no means cheap...so I was really hoping to look great. I also like how my old stylist always offered a beverage...no drink here. At one point I had to let my highlights develop and was ushered into a room for a very long time- she took another client in between which I felt was a bit odd. As a result it took about a half hour longer than my old stylist - but she did apologize saying the other woman wanted her hair flat ironed. Now on to the really important part- the color really came out beautiful and she did a fantastic job with the cut and especially the style - a partial color and cut without tip was $160 - maybe standard for some but I cringed a little. Regardless, I walked out of the salon feeling like I was in an herbal essence commercial. I met up with friends later who oooh'd and ahh'd so I may stick with her for awhile...hey I can always have a glass of wine post-salon.
