Had the weirdest experience trying to book a haircut with this salon. The options to book with them are to call the salon- which I did, and left a voicemail with my information, but didn't receive a reply to. Or to directly message the people on the staff page. There isn't much information about each staff member (one is just a photo of part of a palm tree?). I messaged one girl and didn't get a reply. I messaged another woman who is also listed as the owner, and she told me she would send me booking options as soon as she got to the salon. The next day, after still not hearing anything, I messaged again to inquire about availability to book an appointment. She told me that someone could get me at 12 pm one day, I let her know my work schedule and asked again what their schedule looked like for the next two weeks. She told me to just give her a time. I also clarified that I would be using a Groupon that I purchased for a haircut at the salon, and she then informed me that there is only one staff member who accepts Groupons and that she had been in a car accident, and that I could book again with another stylist who does not accept Groupons, or to text the stylist who was in an accident and ask her. To me this seemed really innapropriate. I asked if she knew when that stylist might be back, as I didn't want to message her outside of work if she was just in an accident, and the owner replied "I'm not sure at the moment, but if you text her, she should respond now because she is home". Like why don't you know what's going on with your employees or have a schedule for appointments? Idk. I cancelled my Groupon, it was such a headache to try to book a haircut, I'm glad I'm not going. Definitely listen to the other reviews before booking. read more

Truly disappointed with the customer service I received and I didn't even make it through the door. For two straight weeks I tried to make an appointment for a haircut but had no luck. I called the store multiple times, not once did someone pick up the call. So I left voicemails requesting a call back to set up an appointment, not once did I get a call backs. I even texted the owner requesting available dates, she never followed through/up on my text messages. Wish I could tell you more about the actual business but they make it very difficult to even get inside! Pathetic. read more

I visited this salon for the first time on 12/4. When I first walked in i thought it as quaint. No one greeted me with a smile which was unwelcoming. Someone did ask me who I was there to see as a greeting. While I was waiting for my stylist to show up I overheard one of the stylists complaining about how sick she was and I couldn't believe she would continue to see clients while she was sick as a dog. My stylist forgot she made my appointment at 3:30 and thought it was at 2:30 but since my appointment was booked in writing she could have referenced the text messages if she was unsure of the time. When my stylist arrived she took me back to her room and started foiling my hair. I had texted her a couple days prior to book the appointment and clearly stated in the text message "full highlight and cut." She then "finished" foiling my hair and I was confused as to why she didn't do any of the pieces underneath. She only did a partial highlight from my experience getting my hair colored... which I've been doing for years now. So I asked her, what about the rest? She claimed she only does top of the ear to top of the ear but I clearly told her I wanted a FULL highlight. She then proceeded to tell me "oh okay well its by volume for the color and I still have some left so I can do a few pieces underneath but you should have specified when booking the appointment." I did however, clearly specify a FULL highlight and it was in writing since it was booked over text message. Even if it was by volume and not what I was paying for, wouldn't a good hair stylist offer to do additional foils with her extra dye if she really cared about her client and wanted to give them good customer service? She then started taking the foils out and told me that I needed toner for an additional $25. I asked her if I can look at my hair before she put toner in and I did not need toner. My hair was ashy and this was nothing a couple washes of purple shampoo couldn't fix. I just don't like it when stylists try to nickel and dime you for everything and pretend that fault was on the client when my appointment booking was in writing. I am very patient with my stylists especially going for a first visit, but when they try to charge you extra and claim you were not clear it is major turn off and bad first impression. Overall I was disappointed with my experience and will not be returning to this salon or stylist. read more

I actually found Ally on Groupon originally but have been seeing her since. She's an amazing colorist and has been doing my hair for the last year and a half. The salon has a relaxed atmosphere and all of the staff has been friendly. Here is a picture of the latest hair color we did. read more

This place used to be pretty good (indeed, my entire family went here) until a new owner took control recently. Since then, some of the better staff have left, stylists randomly cancel at the last minute, and the owner herself is not the easiest or most pleasant to deal with on the phone. Although my family had been going here for years, we moved to another salon. As well - parking is scare and a hassle here. When the salon used to be good, we put up with it. Once the salon went downhill and the owner/ stylists became indifferent - why bother? read more

Terrible! I looked better before I went here. Wasted my time and my money and my mom's time watching my kids while I splurged on getting my hair done once a year. Spent 5 hours as she screwed it up then tried to fix it and turned it a weird blue green color. I cried the whole long drive home to walk in the door and everyone look at me sideways. Ally did offer to fix it but I don't trust her touching my head not to mention the time and inconvenience to get a babysitter and all. No, I cut fried hair off myself and put box color on it to cover it. The blue-green still shows but it's not as obvious. I'll wait a month and die it again, I don't want to kill it. Ally is amazing! She's given me several great hair cuts and is very attentive to detail....so my hair turns out looking awesome. She is also super accommodating and understanding if something comes up and an appointment needs to be re-booked. She's super personable and we always have great conversations.
