I came in for a blowout. The service was affordable and I made the reservation by phone a few days prior. The salon is so cute with tons of yellow elements. When I arrived and checked in, I was offered a beverage. I was then sat at a station to discuss styling preferences. The shampoo and conditioning was relaxing and comfortable. I have natural hair and was surprised that they were able to work with my textured hair. They had a detangling + heat protectant product that made the detangling process easier and then they used a coarser brush for blow drying. My stylist was so patient and skilled. The blowout comes with the ability to get it straightened. I decided not to use a heating tool but I plan to return again and try it out next time. Pro-tip: There's a parking garage behind the salon that's covered and free.

Any business that thinks it's ok to keep an early customer waiting 25 minutes past their appointment time with no information as to what's happening is a zero in my book. Showed up early and pretty much waited around for over 30 mins past my appointment with no acknowledgment--I finally asked the unbothered receptionist what the delay was and she responded 'we are just waiting for a stylist to free up'. That's it--no time commitment as to when. Nothing. Go elsewhere.

    Love the hair!

The DryBar's manager and trainer, her name starts with T (Tammy?) did an exceptional job with my African American hair. I looked hollywood glamorous. Loved the mimosa! Added the head massage - what a treat! Very relaxing!!

Worst customer service I had in my life. I made an appointment for an extension wash, blow out and style. 20 min on the phone with receptionist explaining what I was needing. Due to the festival, beyond my control I was 12 minutes late. I called and was told no problem. During check in I was told they could only dry style me, I said the wash was what I mainly needed. I was told I could not have anything other than the wash. that they had other appointments. I said ok can you do as much as you can in the time allotted. now the next customer wasn't due to get there until 2pm, at 1:40 she just quit on my hair, I offered to even pay 100$ to have them work on me until the next client but they said they don't work that way. so not only did I leave with wet hair but my stylist lost out on time and money. she had to wait for next client while I left wet headed. make it make sense. they treated me like Julia Robert's got treated on rodeo drive. horrible place. it was the manager and her 2 groupies. You never know who you are disrespecting. this will not be last you guys will hear of this. I'm the wrong one to treat like that. remember who Richard Gere ended up being. Update to previous post so after my yelp review, the owner called me had me come back up there, the manager was not there, I don't know if she sent her home or what but one of the mean girls was still there, she wanted me to have a great experience, now I have done canceled plans for the day because we had plans, came back up here now mind you I paid for the terrible Shampoo that she had to redo because the shampoo wasn't good so I already had paid $40 for that, get back here expecting you know they're going to take care of you, no they didn't. They still charge me for the full thing they said they took off $20 because I had extensions,, I don't get it. The stylist are great, the management, and now I have to say the ownership is awful. I should've walked out of there being comped after this, taken my whole entire day in Nashville. Please do not go to this place.

I went here for a fun blowout as part of a bachelorette trip. Unfortunately I was not impressed and had to go home directly afterwards. I am not sure what happened. I paid $70 for this. This is directly after leaving the premises. Do with this what you will.

In town for a business conference and had a super blow out from a delightful young stylist named Shawanna Bradshaw - she was so personable and knowledgeable about all the products - she did a perfect job on my hair - if you're in Nashville and need great hair, Shawanna is phenomenal!

Amazing and quick service! All the ladies are fantastic and so nice. I requested a dry style (with no wash) and was not disappointed.

At first I didn't plan to leave a review because I thought my experience was completely me fault. A week later I am deciding to write this review because I'm so distraught. I came to the dry bar a little uneasy and nervous because I am AA and was nervous about the knowledge to be able to care for my hair. I booked a wash and blow dry. I was told at the start of my service I should get the flatiron as well because it's all the same price . Excited to get pampered because i so often have to wash and blow dry my own hair. I shared with the stylist I had a Quickweave prior to take down and there is a lot of glue residue I shared how nervous I was to come to this salon as well we laughed and joke and overall her personality was good. She mentioned at the wash bowl it being a lot of glue (I've had glue residue left over after washes before a blowout and had to make the hard decisions to keep my hair wet and condition and few days longer a knowledge I have without a hair license) well she proceeded and said it would take a few washes and I trusted her we proceeded with the blow out were clumps of my hair came out with leftover glue that she hid under a towel my roots also never got try she whisper next time try a sew in I left in pain but not wanting to do the most given the environment I was in. Thought the day clumps of my hair came out I still decided not to cause a scene I cried my tears alone and proceeded with the day well today I took some time to oil my scalp up close and have now see actual BALD spots in my head . I'm so hurt and upset I've always had thick hair and stayed away from chemicals to keep it. I'm just really hurt and upset that at the wash bowl the decision wasn't decided if we'd like to blame the glue to tell me as a stylist I need a few more days and few more conditions this could have completely been avoided

I had surgery about a year ago and knew I was going to be unable to wash my own hair the week afterwards, so I decided to book an appointment here. First, my stylist wasn't there on time. About 10 minutes into me waiting, the girl at the front desk called my stylist to make sure that she was on her way for our appointment. When my stylist finally got there, she gave the girl attitude for calling to check on her and basically told her that she didn't need to call because if she didn't say she wasn't coming, she was coming... she was 20 minutes late by the time she got there. I'd be concerned if someone wasn't there for their appointment, too. Anyway. Luckily, I wasn't in a rush and was just happy to be having my hair blown out. Once my appointment finally started, the girl bashed the other girl to me and gossiped and complained about the other employees that worked there. I was very uncomfortable and just tried to kind of nod and smile and change the topic because how unprofessional. She then asked me why I was getting a blowout, and I was honest and told her I had surgery and didn't want to have my boyfriend or a family member wash my hair, so I'd decided to just book an appointment. She then proceeded to ask me prying questions about what kind of surgery I was having and why I was having it. Just too far. You don't ask that. If someone wants to tell you what kind of surgery they're having, they'll tell you. All that just for the service to not be good. She kept blasting super hot hair on my roots for long periods that burned extremely badly and actually FRIED my hair. Like literally left damage on my hair. My hair was frizzy at the root even after washing until a month later. It left my baby and new hairs visibly fried. My blowout was overwhelmingly mediocre and, honestly, painful, and I could have done a much better job myself had I been able to do my own hair at the time. I had really hoped that this would be a nice experience given my circumstances at the time and thought it would be a nice pick me up. I thought wrong. Won't be back.

Their stylist Claire also stated this is not the first time their schedules have been overloaded. I made an appointment for 5 girls to get blowouts. The last one beginning at 530 They completed the first 2 at 5:30. Claire then stated "the salon is a chain and they are not allowed to be open later than 6" So at that point they did not have time for the remaining 3 blowouts. I then received a text from the owner stating I would be charged regardless even though her own staff stated they were not allowed to remain after hours. When I called to dicsuss what happened she proceeded to just speak over me to the point I had to text her. Would give 0 stars if I could.

The first cut my sideburns way too high instead of middle ear as I asked and didn't square the back as I asked, And she failed the eyebrows as I asked. The second also cut the sideburns too high but did square the back as I wanted. The problem was she failed to use vasoline or something else to prevent the black dye from staining my head on the front, back and sides. I looked ridiulious. It took lots of medical grade rubbing alcohol and two weeks of daily rubbing the alcohol on my skin to get it off. It cost $107 each time for the screwed up haircut. NEVER AGAIN!!! I went to Sports Clips and got the haircut perfectly done for $28 including tip. And I went to Sally Beauty to get the needed hair dye and application stuff to do it myself in just 45 minutes with great results.

Well, I found it! The space is calming, the stylists are friendly but not overly chatty and everything feels authentic. My highlight color was brassy, chunky in placement and I honestly was embarrassed to even wear it down. I had to have it corrected by a color specialist and have had 2 appts so far. 1 more to go - so I don't ruin my hair. Had to cut off an additional 5 inches of hair due to how bad the color was. I told the stylist, Maggie, this - and asked for a partial refund. She said sure, by the end of the week she would. I sent a reminder on Friday morning, she responded saying she would do it asap - and she never sent anything. Then responded again around 6 pm saying she would send it and that it was a really busy day, yet never sent it even after that. Having a new baby, the holidays, and going back to work after maternity leave and now I have to find a spare 8-10 hours to sit in a salon (not an easy task) to have my hair fixed over a month and spend about $800. I think if the DryHouse cared about the fact they messed up, a refund would not have even had to be mentioned, but something that would be done out of courtesy. At this point, I'll just move on but wanted to share my experience.
