I can't be certain that they caused it but they didn't fill me with confidence when I spoke to them about it. They actually showed no concern at all for how the item was handled. I don't even know if they know what gray and cashmere is. The blossom Road location told me I might have better luck at their location when the owner is around. I like to think that maybe I caused the tear myself by accident by not being careful. I'm going to go to Eagles in Penfield just to be safe because this whole situation was really upsetting for me. The shirt costs too much for the business to replace. I should have documented the condition of the shirt before sending it in. I'm going to have my special clothing cleaned elsewhere to be safe. I have had no issues with letting them handle my Italian wool suits.

I am absolutely floored by the quality of the alterations done to my dress. What started as a $100…read moredress needing a relatively simple repair is now essentially unwearable. The first time I picked it up, they had replaced the O-ring on one adjustable strap with a clear plastic piece, while the original hardware on the other strap was clearly metal. They also used fabric from the built-in shorts to repair the strap, leaving the shorts poorly repaired with an extremely thin line of stitching that did not look like it would hold up at all. I brought the dress back and specifically asked them to correct both issues. After receiving a notification on Wednesday that my dress was completed, I went back Friday to pick it up. The safety pin was STILL in the shorts where I had asked them to repair it, so that issue clearly had not even been addressed. On top of that, they had now replaced the hardware on BOTH straps with two different metal pieces, and the pieces they used were already pulling apart. To make matters worse, my dress now has stains on it that were not there when I dropped it off. The entire reason I brought this dress to a professional tailor was because it was expensive and I wanted the repair done correctly. At this point, I genuinely feel like I could have done a better job myself. After 4 1/2+ weeks, multiple trips, and giving them the opportunity to correct the original work, I am leaving with my dress in worse condition than when I brought it in and now unable to wear it. I understand businesses get busy, but if you have more alterations than you can properly manage, it is okay to tell a customer you cannot take on the job. Taking someone's clothing and returning it damaged and poorly repaired is unacceptable. Unfortunately, I will never bring another item here for tailoring or dry cleaning.

This was the nicest and cleanest laundromat I've ever been in with clean, comfortable seating and lots of folding tables. Once 9pm hits, they lock the doors from the outside and the employees probably won't let you in. Today is one of those days that I find myself at a laundromat. I am so grateful that MadeNew Laundry in Henrietta opened up. It's worth the little extra drive coming from Fairport to be in an environment that is truly kept immaculately clean and that I feel safe. On top of that, the machines are state of the art technology for washing without wear and tear on my clothes. They rinse and spin thoroughly and dry without cooking the fabric. I am very pleased by the outcome everything from my delicates to son's work pants. Upon walking in, I was given a friendly greeting by Jason who gave me a quick tour of how to get started with the payment system. You have a choice of purchasing a reloadable Laundry Card using either cash or credit card. Or you can download the Laundry Cat app and use a card or other electronic payment, like Apple Pay, and use the app as a virtual laundry card. I chose the Laundry Cat App. It's pretty nifty as it uses the WiFi to give you a status of the machines you have in use. It's easy to reload your account and it's easy to apply payment to a machine. Loading and starting up the machines was a cinch. Wash time is 30 mins or less. Dry time is 20 mins or less. The dryers are very efficient. All in all, it was an excellent experience for going to the laundromat.

He helped me buy a card to use on the machine and showed me how to put my already wet and apparently soap-soaked load in. Then, a few minutes after I had added too much additional soap, i walked outside to make a phone call. Josh noticed the error i had mad and he removed the excess liquid soap using a turkey baster. This corrected the problem and avoided a real mess. The laundromat is bright, clean, modern and obviously well run Talking to Josh, I learned that customers come from all parts of the county. I CAN SEE WHY.

When I arrived to pick it up I was told that my wedding dress was not even in the system and that it typically takes a month not a few days. I asked her where my dress was then and she showed me someone else's unlabeled dress. So there is another customer of theirs with the same issue they just might not know it yet. She then found my dress and I asked to take it with me. She giggled and said it seems like it's rolled up in a ball at the bottom of the bag. So not only did they almost lose my wedding dress but they didn't even have the decency to keep it on a hanger for those few days. I left so upset that my wedding dress (arguably the item of clothing a woman spends the most money on in her life) was treated with such disrespect. I'm just thankful I got it back in the end and the veil wasn't missing or anything. I would never even trust them with a pair of jeans now let alone an item of value.
