On the 31st of July, 2026 I picked up my sport jacket from Julian's Dry Cleaners at the 699 Blossom Rd. location. The cost of cleaning was $16. After returning home with my jacket, I noticed there was a very pronounced chemical odor emanating from my jacket. It became immediately apparent my jacket had been drenched with dry cleaning fluid, likely P.C.E (Perc). I had to hang the jacket outside because of the noxious odor. It is difficult to conceive this was the result of an honest mistake. P.C.E. is a dangerous carcinogenic neuro-toxin especially in high concentrations. I called the location and complained about this. I was told a manager by the name of 'Dillon' would call me. He never did. My jacket is likely unwearable, and the matter concerning my jacket remains unresolved. Subsequently, I have filed a complaint with the BBB. Most people are unaware you can do this regardless as to whether a business is registered with the BBB or not. After filing a complaint with them, they will contact the business and attempt to resolve the complaint on your behalf. I will never do business with this establishment again. It isn't worth the hassle, and I recommend to everyone who has read this review not to either! read more

I am absolutely floored by the quality of the alterations done to my dress. What started as a $100 dress needing a relatively simple repair is now essentially unwearable. The first time I picked it up, they had replaced the O-ring on one adjustable strap with a clear plastic piece, while the original hardware on the other strap was clearly metal. They also used fabric from the built-in shorts to repair the strap, leaving the shorts poorly repaired with an extremely thin line of stitching that did not look like it would hold up at all. I brought the dress back and specifically asked them to correct both issues. After receiving a notification on Wednesday that my dress was completed, I went back Friday to pick it up. The safety pin was STILL in the shorts where I had asked them to repair it, so that issue clearly had not even been addressed. On top of that, they had now replaced the hardware on BOTH straps with two different metal pieces, and the pieces they used were already pulling apart. To make matters worse, my dress now has stains on it that were not there when I dropped it off. The entire reason I brought this dress to a professional tailor was because it was expensive and I wanted the repair done correctly. At this point, I genuinely feel like I could have done a better job myself. After 4 1/2+ weeks, multiple trips, and giving them the opportunity to correct the original work, I am leaving with my dress in worse condition than when I brought it in and now unable to wear it. I understand businesses get busy, but if you have more alterations than you can properly manage, it is okay to tell a customer you cannot take on the job. Taking someone's clothing and returning it damaged and poorly repaired is unacceptable. Unfortunately, I will never bring another item here for tailoring or dry cleaning. read more

1 Star - I Will Never Return I brought my 2 suits to Julian's Cleaners on Blossom Rd to be cleaned. A few days later, I received a call saying that one of the suit pockets had "come off" and they asked if I knew anyone who could sew it back on. I told them no, and that I only needed the one suit for my cousin's event, so I was willing to wait until their seamstress came in the following week to fix it. When I went to pick up the suit today, they tried to charge me an extra $30 to repair their own mistake. The owner helping me then told me he "shouldn't have to eat the cost" because my suit was "poorly made," but since I was a new customer, he would do it "this time." So not only did they damage my suit, but they also insulted it, tried to charge me for the repair, and acted like they were doing me a favor by fixing what they broke. I brought in a top with a stuck zipper that I thought needed to be replaced. Fortunately, I received a call saying that the zipper had been unstuck and that it was fine. I picked up my top and they did not charge me. I appreciated this so much and will definitely continue to use this Julian's in the future. read more

They're listing on my iPhone maps said 6:30 pm. I got there at 6:03 pm and knocked and 2 girls ignored me as they walked by. I called and they answered at 6:04 and I said can I just drop off two things because I drove here, and it was 3 minutes after when I got there, and they said "no we cannot take any more drop offs for the day." This place is super inconsistent. Sometimes my items are ready within a few days and other times it takes a week. Communication doesn't seem to be great. I've also gone in several times to see the tailor and they were not there. Prices on website do not match what they charge you in person. The phone number listed on Apple Maps also doesn't work, or they just do not answer the phone. read more

After reading fellow Yelpers' reviews, and a horrible series of incidents at United Dry Cleaners (whom is now owned by Julian's as I write this) I now come here for my clothes services. I religiously dry clean my work shirts and suits, and it's great to come in to a place like this. They have consistently took care of my clothes, are pleasant to deal with, doesn't break the bank, and always asks me how much starch I want. I've used their tailoring services which is limited compared to their dry cleaning, but is still satisfactory. Since their prices are so cheap compared to other places I've used, I don't need to look for coupons or debate about their use, thank God. Actually, I don't think they even distribute coupons because they are competitively priced. Though Julian's have taken over my old spot I still fear the same staff is there, so I will continue to visit here for my needs. I really have to reiterate how well the customer service is. I've seen people literally walk in, dump a hamper of clothes on them and walk out without so much of a word. Not cool at all. Unlike me, they didn't get pissed and maintained a professional demeanor even after the customer left. That really resonated with me and I'll keep supporting cool people like this. read more

Absolutely terrible! Brought in a "Dry Clean Only" down comforter to have well...dry cleaned. Was told that it would be ready same day by 4pm. Went in at 430pm and was told that it was "still in the dryer" and asked to come back in an hour. Ok...let's circle back to that "Dry Clean Only." Well the fine folks at Julian's tossed my down comforter into a washing machine and then right into a tumble dryer. Upon going back an hour later, I asked if I could speak to a supervisor and inquired as to what they would be wiling to do to fix this. Andrew told me that the supervisor would be in tomorrow and as far as what could be done, "I mean nothing really man...I mean it's already been done." So I had to pay $25 to get my improperly handled comforter out of Dry Cleaning Jail. Then I get home, take the comforter out of the bag and you guessed it! It's still wet! It gets better! The comforter has also been significantly shrunk and no longer properly fits my bed. So at the end of the day, I paid these idiots $25 to ruin a $200 item. This place is a total joke. read more

I rarely use a dry cleaner or alterations business but I needed a pair of pants taken in. I have also lived in the neighborhood so I wanted to support a local business. I gave specific instructions how much & where I wanted a pair of pants taken in. Instructions were not followed and the cost to do the alterations was more than what I paid for the pants. It also took a bit longer for me to get the pants back than I wanted. Now the pants are worthless to me because they took in the pants below the knee which I told them not to do. I took 2 shirts to Julian's drycleaner to be laundered and hung. One from a grandson and one mine that was very similar, just buttons on different sides. His is considered a shirt; mine is considered a blouse. His - $3.19. Mine $5.00+ Now I have to find a drycleaner!!! It is their right to set prices; my right to go elsewhere for unfair treatment. I wonder how many of their women clients know about this sexist policy? Julian's has been in business for years so if they know, they don't care if they are over charged. It's hard to get too excited about dry cleaning, but my experience at Julian's was a vast improvement from my previous cleaner. They feature friendly staff and email/text updates and reminders about your orders. More recently, they sewed on a missing button for me at no additional charge. It's my new spot. read more

this was my first time using a dry cleaning service and it was on a suit that was a year old and I had only worn twice before this. I just wanted my suit to look extra crisp for a friends wedding. when I opened it there were holes everywhere at least two in the pants and two on the back of the jacket. when I took it in to complain all I got was multiple excuses like "oh those are moth holes" then it changed to "oh if you have food sitting on it for too long and get it dry cleaned that can put holes in the weakened material" I knew there were no holes in the jacket when I took it in so I just find it comical that they aren't willing to accept that their chemicals burnt holes into my suit. they weren't willing to cover the cost for the suit that cost me over $300 and all I got back was $18. will never use this company in future and wouldn't recommend anyone to go there. read more

Beware if you have a problem. I have been going to this dry cleaner for 10 years because it is convenient to my commute. The staff is friendly and in general the service and quality is good but... if you have a problem good luck getting any satisfaction from Joe the owner. I have now had two situations where they either lost an item or spotted a stain I did not ask to have done and created something worse. Joe has no concept of what customer service looks like when dealing with a long term customer who has spent thousands of $ over the years. It is always the customer's fault - the customer is always wrong and he wants to get out of the situation as cheaply as possible. Perhaps this is typical of all dry cleaners. read more

With a wedding on Friday, and bad luck with a few tailors in the past, I was told to go to Ismail over at Julian's for a quick and reliable fix for my dress pants. I dropped them of Tuesday evening and was a little nervous knowing I needed 4 inches taken off the bottoms. By the time I got back into my car, I had a text thanking me for trusting them with my clothing. ABOUT 24 HOURS LATER I received another text that the pants were done and I could schedule a drop off or I could pick them up at my convenience. Now THIS is what I call service. The lovely lady at the front desk even asked me if I would like them dry cleaned as well. So Thursday morning I showed up and left with perfectly fitting CLEAN AND PRESSED dress pants. Julian's is my go-to dry cleaner. Great customer service, not too expensive, and they take care of the delicate items I bring in. I don't have too many items that need dry cleaning on a regular basis. I always have them do my jackets each season (winter jacket, wool coats, peacoats, etc.) They've handled the wool coats perfectly and my winter jacket had a stain on it that they removed easily. Be sure to note if there's a spot that they might need to give extra care to as they'll mark it with red tape and spot treat it. I also brought my boyfriend's suit here, along with several dry-clean only dresses I own. I'll bring 2-4 items and it's rarely been over $50 for the items. I decided to come here to bring some shirts and a dress as a test place to see how I liked them after having a blah experience elsewhere. Right away I loved the location which is close to my apartment and I loved the hours - I can drop something off and pick up after my early workouts in the morning. I was impressed with the cleaning of my husband shirts and my dress so I decided we would keep trying this place out a bit. A few weeks later I pulled a dress out of my closet for a wedding and found a random long grey colored lined down the middle of the entire dress - I had and still have no idea what the heck this line was. I brought that and one of Adam's shirt that was graced with butter down the front to be cleaned. I was sure to take Breanna's advise and pointed out the stains to the woman working the register. She marked the spot on Adam's shirt and marked the entire front of my dress. She then told me that she would make a note that the shop will check it after the first cycle to make sure the stain came out and if it didn't they would try again. If after the 2nd time my dress didn't come clean they would call me. I checked my receipt later and it specified the stains on our items and everything - I was impressed. A few days later I went to get out stuff. They are no problems cleaning my dress or Adam's shirt. I brought our stuff back home and Adam was pretty impressed that both of our items were perfectly fine and completely clean. Adam has a few other shirts that other cleaners couldn't get clean and I will bring them here to see if they can work their magic on them. The price is kind of expensive but if they can clean mysterious things out and butter out of clothes no problem it is worth it - If Adam's $60.00 express shirt is not going in the trash because it has butter all over it I am happy. You also pay extra for stain removal so not every trip will be super expensive. Overall, I will continue to come here with my cleaning unless I find some other miracle maker who has the convenience this place offers me. they also do tailoring and I may bring a maxi dress I recently purchased so I can see how they do with tailoring. read more

When you're in the business of clothing - especially expensive clothing that requires dry cleaning, you would think they would hold their work to a higher standard (espcially at their prices!). My review is based solely on principle. I received my suit jacket back with a broken button. I can easily replace this, but the way the owner chose to handle the situation is unprofessional and unfortunate. Upon inquiring about replacing the buttons, I was told I could bring in my own purchased buttons and they would sew them on for free. When I asked about getting reimbursed for the cost (as this is not my fault) I was simply told this was not part of the policy (a policy I asked to see in writing - and oddly, doesn't even physically exist). I also asked if there was a copy of a document that I had signed waiving their responsibility for "casualties" such as buttons - that too, does not exist. When I asked the owner if he he would share with me how he would feel if he were in my shoes he beat around the bush, and stated he could not answer that. I ALL FOR SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS - but Julian's is an absolute exception for me. Needless to say, I will NOT be taking my business there again. read more

I recently had to dry clean two dress shirts that needed to be done within 24 hours. I tired another local cleaners who were unable to accommodate my requests. When I brought it to Julian's they had no problem with me needing next day service. The staff was very friendly and patient. After spending $25+ i saw someone shove a few disgusting pet beds in the machine i was using. I complained...i was told the person working didnt see any signs that said no pet beds (theyre posted on every machine) so the man didnt get reprimanded from the person working. So we opted to not dry our clothes there and took them home...where i emailed a formal complaint to the manager and still heard nothing back. Guess customers arent important to them. read more

Have been going to the Bayroad location for 7 years with no issues. Now twice Ive had the front collars of my white shirts slightly burned in most likely the ironing processs. Like other reviews I see the owner wants no responsibility. Terrible customer service with a small minded owner. read more
