Although we initially thought our old gas fireplace simply needed servicing, it quickly became apparent that a total replacement was necessary. We visited The Stove Place 2's Harwich Port shop and spoke with Jeff, the owner. Jeff is a plain-spoken, straight shooter - the only kind I want to work with. He advised us on the models most likely to fit our current firebox, and what our installation options might be. Jeff really knows his business, so we were quickly able to choose the best solution for us. The people we worked with for the actual installation - Jeff, Bob, Dave, and Kent - were fantastic! I do not say this lightly, as I am a fairly tough critic. In short, they did what they said they would do when they said they would do it, and they did it well. Pricing was more than fair, and the customer attention was incredible. That's getting harder and harder to say that these days! They were assembled and ready for delivery a month prior to our ability to receive them, as prep work was delayed due to circumstances beyond our or their control. Chip stored them without complaint, and delivered them immediately upon being given the green light. Installer Chris had them in place within a day or two, and the hardware (knobs and drawer pulls) attached a day later. Drawer dividers for cutlery and cookware were included at no extra cost. Countertops and sink installation followed shortly thereafter.
