One of my favorite things, though, was overhearing someone telling the group these encouraging things like "diamonds are made from pressure!" Although (as so often with reconstruction) more problems due to leakage were discovered as the project progressed, leading to a longer project time than expected, I always felt I was in good hands. No detail was too small to be addressed, and "doing the job right" was al ways a high priority. My kitchen has been more than restored: it has been improved, and the results are beautiful. It turned out to be a leak that soaked two walls, and I had to find help fast. Oregon Restoration replied to me immediately while other companies took hours to respond. Their friendly office staff calmly walked me through what to expect in the process and sent help that day. Danny arrived right on time and was friendly, professional, and thorough. He let me look at his instruments as he assessed the extent of the damage, shared pictures with me, explained what they would do and helped me understand next steps. After that as I was traveling, he kept in contact with me to make sure I knew what was happening at home. He also worked with my roommates to help them understand what was happening and arrange work visits. Every person on his team was respectful and helpful, and they checked the progress of the drying process regularly. Danny worked with my insurance adjuster to make sure everything went forward smoothly. I had a…read moreroof leak caused by my solar panels, and after calling multiple companies, no one wanted to touch it because of the panels. That's when I reached out to Pacific Water & Fire, and I'm so happy I did! They came the same day, inspected the damage, and had a team of technicians back that very same day to start repairs. Dorin treated my emergency, as his priority, which meant so much to me. The roof over my balcony had already rotted due to water damage and needed full replacement-- but thanks to their fast response and expert work, the roof held strong through all the recent Portland storms! Next thing he did was treating my fire damage after an electrical fire. During the winter, my furnace stopped working, and while we were waiting for the repair company, we had to rely on space heaters. Unfortunately, something went wrong, and one of the plugs caught fire.
