Late night shopping at DSW where my wife finally found a pair of Brooks running sneakers for only $96.00 with a sixty day return policy with the box and receipt without wear. She modeled the sneakers to me and walked around the store for a while before making the long awaited decision. Very low shelving allows a long and wide visual from the entrance to the back of the store. All the major brands of shoes are sold here except the styles are usually two versions behind, therefore, the price are not high retail. DSW also offers a Fit Finder machine by Aetrex that you stand on and it detects your foot size to assist customers in an easier shoe shopping experience. read more

I really love DSW! They have an amazing selection of shoes and great prices! Every kind of you can imagine. They also carry tons of accessories as well. Hats, bags, purses, socks, etc. I've been searching for new running sneakers and found them here! My first pair of Brooks! I didn't have my socks on so was worried about the fit. The cashier said there was a 60 day return policy as long as they are not worn. So that's good! Most places only give you 30 days to return. Left happy and can't wait to wear them. read more

This is a K Swiss court shoe purchases 7/23/2025. As you can tell by the picture, this is a factory defect. I returned the shoes today and Eve the manager quickly dismissed us stating that the shoe was worn. K Swiss and DSW should be more consumer conscious and understand that if a product is defected it should be allowed to be credited back, returned. I didn't even get an I'm sorry. I thought K Swiss was a reputable company and I also felt the same way about DSW in Davie, which is on University drive. I like this store for it's selection. I don't always find something to purchase but they sure do try. They have many, many brands of shoes. They have lots of colors and styles. I looked around and did not see anything I wanted to try on. I think I am early in the season to be looking for sandals. I have bought shoes in the past here and was happy with the quality. They lasted a good amount of time. Besides lots and lots of shoes, DSW also sells purses, belts, shoe accessories, umbrellas, a few skincare products, etc. So, it can be a one stop shop if you need these things as well. We stopped in here as we were next door at Old Navy. The shopping center has a lot of stores s d ample parking for all. It's not in an area we usually frequent, but not far from where we'd had lunch. It's laid out pretty much like all other stores of the same company. Rows and rows of shoes and the clearance section in the back. I've been looking for a low heeled sandal lately but haven't found exactly what I'm seeking. I walked up and down all the relevant aisles, but no success. I love shoes, but since I no longer need or wear really high heels for work, I've not been buying as many pairs as I used to. Luckily, my husband who came here with me to find a new pair of sandals lucked out. He found something he Iiked in his price range. So it wasn't a total loss. In the past couple of days, I've gone to two of these stores. While the first one was a complete and utter disaster, I cannot say the same of this second one. I passed by this location years ago to get a gift card, and hence, how I remembered it. Passed by after work with the hope of getting some flats, seeing as the majority of my closet is heels. That and I'm currently on the road to recovery after a sprained ankle. Anyway, that, along with a sale they're having (and let's face it - it isn't as if being a woman you need an excuse for shoes) made it so I went and bought shoes. I found the staff at this location particularly pleasant and knowledgeable. One of my shoes was the wrong size and they easily and quickly exchanged it for the correct size. That and they were able to provide quick directions to where certain shoes were. That last bit... sigh... I cannot tell you how many times I have walked into a shoe store and the employees were entirely clueless. Happy to say that this wasn't the case for once. This location of DSW is great. It's a large location full of inventory. Compared to other DSWs' I have been too, even the children shoes section was huge. Like other DSW stores the clearance section is in the back wall. Their new inventory is in the front of the store. They had some great spring and summer sandals. I was alittle lazy to try shoes on before going to a yelp event. But Sam M tried on flip flops. Moreover he found the type he was looking for and ended up getting them in all less than 15 minutes. In their check out section it was nice to see multiple cashiers ringing in transactions. The wait time was quick. Since I haven't been to DSW in a while, I found out now they have apple or Samsung pay options. They still have a great system of finding the items online if you don't see your size in the store. They deliver them to your house. It's a great store to find different brands of shoes from many brands/labels. I don't always remember to go to DSW for shoes. I don't know why as they have a great selection, reasonable prices, a large clearance section and plenty of help. I was in search of a pair of shoes for an upcoming party and a friend said I should check there. I not only found shoes for me, I got my daughter a pair of cool Nikes on clearance, a Betsy Johnson purse in clearance and a cute little pillbox. The people working the floor were super friendly and helpful. They saw me holding a few boxes and 2 different salespeople brought over a bag to help me carry them. We were able to enter the store at 7:55 where a store associate try to tell us they were closed. As I corrected her on the fact that they close at 8pm and I was only running in to grab crocs, I was approached by a store manager named Tim that said I had 5mins since I snuck into the store. Customer service has really gone down, if you are more worried about getting home earlier stay home. 3/9/2017 - Can't believe I've never been to any DSW before. Was looking for heels for a friend's wedding and my co-worker said "Let's go to DSW!" As soon as we walked in I was in awe. So many shoes and only 45 minutes to shop. I started on the heels of course and then noticed the big clearance section in the back. And there they were, a pair of Vince Camuto nude peep toe heels. They were around $70 but they had a 20% on top of that alreayd clearance price. I put them on and walked around the store for a bit. There are plenty of people working bu t no one pays attention to you. Don't know if that is the policy or not. However, at the register, Gabby, was super nice and friendly. She told me about the rewards program. I gave her my information and I received a $10 coupon on my next purchase. SCORE! Can't wait until my friend's wedding to wear my new heels. Terrible online service. I placed an order to be picked up at the store. I called the store and the 800# to check on the status and no one was able to tell me why there was a delayed, but I was assured the order was in progress, so I did not attempt to find the shoes anywhere else. All I had was an email stating the order was being processed. On Christmas eve the order was cancelled. Needless to say, this was a Christmas gift for my son. I received No explanation, no email, no phone call. Just order cancelled product is not available anymore. Are you kidding me...Terrible experience..If I could give them a -star I would. To me, DSW is shoe heaven! There are rows and rows of shoes for everyone - men, women, and kids. Fantastic selection and great prices. My only complaint as a "hard to fit" customer is an insufficient number of styles for wide feet. I also wish DSW would carry more Naturalizer and Easy Spirit - brands I have always been able to wear. I've also shopped at the Aventura DSW and I look forward to shopping at the new location in Pembroke Pines. read more

The only reason why I didn't give a full 5 stars is b/c they had nothing I liked with the exception of one pair. Normally, I walk into a DSW and I fall in love with at least three pairs.
