Can't say enough good things about these guys; 5 stars only because we can't give more than 5…read more Here's my take on the auto repair business; there's 3 key things, two of which are very hard for the layperson to access. 1-Diagnosing the problem. 2-Fixing the problem. 3-Being honest about what needs done. 1-Jeff has many years experience and is excellent at diagnosing the problem. Obviously some things are easier than others; e.g., the brakes grind, you need brake pads; other noises or symptoms can be much harder to figure out. He's a master at figuring it out and won't give up till he has. 2-Fixing it. This is what every professional shop can do. 3-Honesty. This is the most important one - yet the hardest one for the layperson to assess. e.g., Did your brake job really need rotors too or would just pads have been enough. Did you really need that new radiator or was it just a hose that was leaking? Did you really need all the tie rods and ball joints and suspension links replaced or would've ball joints been enough? ...etc, etc. Sooner or later there will be times where a less-than-honest shop can oversell a repair for extra labor and parts dollars. And the layperson will never know. This is where the trust comes in. I am absolutely convinced Jeff is as honest and straight a shooter as there is in the car business. He'll tell you what your car needs and not oversell repairs you don't need.

They even try to dupe me on labor was ready after a half an hour (time enuf to tack it back together) and then charge me 200 for labor. When I yelped before the mechanics wife inboxed me on Facebook and harassed me. I have a serious condition and cannot defend myself so it was alarming to say the least. My son is Autistic and lives in Portage at a center for autism. It was hard enough separating from him to get care now I cannot rely on my vehicle for safe transportation to see him and to top it off I cannot explain to him why I cannot see him because of his mental illness. I sent in a dispute on chime and he still did not honor it.

I have never had an issue with any of their services and I trust them to be honest. Once, when the dealership told me I needed hundreds of dollars in services, Mr. Fit It told me they could not find any evidence of all their supposed findings and fixed the problem for a nominal fee. I would recommend their services to anyone needed auto repair.

I have taken my cars to Scott's garage over the years, that I trust him vs any other mechanic…read more Scott's garage has only one stall so you need to get a appointment in advance to see him. Some times if you show up really early like 8:00 am, he'll try to squeeze you in. His prices are cheaper then most garages. He doesn't try to upcharge you on repairs like alot of other places do. I would recommend him to my friends and family. Don't take my word for it, try his service for yourself.

Each and every time time they have been throughout, friendly, and trustworthy. On my last oil change they ran a complementary overall vehicle check and ended up finding a problem, that if left unchecked, would have been very expensive down the road. And without me even having to ask, they brought me back and showed/explained the problem, along with answering all my questions. Communication during all services/repairs has always been easy and timely. VIP's customer service is top notch as well. When my car had to stay there for a few days, I was offered (at no cost) a ride from and back to the shop to pick up my car. (I lived very close at the time and realize that may be a factor going forward.) During the last repair, they were also able to give me a loaner car, which took away so much of the stress that comes along with having a car in the shop. Finally, if you're lucky, the owner's sweet pup will be there when you come in. :) I have recommend them to so many people in my day to day life, and I recommend them to anyone reading here as well!
