I was so surprised by the fraudulent behavior of the over the counter staff, specifically the old man and his son Mohammad, engaged in what I consider to be deceitful behavior and their business practices are steeped in lies and dishonesty at this so-called Tel Ford Service mechanic shop. I initially visited their shop for a simple fuel pump replacement, a task that should have been straightforward. However, they deliberately sabotaged the brand-new part I had personally purchased, forcing me to buy an identical one from them at an exorbitant $567 markup. To add insult to injury, they charged me an additional $300 in labor fees. The old man initially promised to source a superior pump directly from the manufacturer, with the expectation of improved quality justifying the higher price. However, it became clear that he had simply ordered the same Napa Auto Parts pump that I had originally provided (the one he had vandalized). When confronted, he refused to speak with me directly, instead sending his son as an intermediary to feign ignorance. In the end, I was swindled out of over $860 beyond the original estimate. I think this mechanic shop is a den of thieves, and I urge others to avoid them at all costs. Few days later, I had to revisit them for a rattling sound came from the area supposedly repaired part, well within their work warranty. His son then had the audacity to suggest a $75 diagnosis fee, with no acknowledgment of their own error. David apologized and cleared my check engine light and asked me to call back. In the meantime the check engine light came on again confirming I had a bad oxygen sensor. I had purchased my own parts and was ready for the installation. When David and I next talked he offered to come to my house pick up my car and take it back to the shop to fix the problem. David came to my house and repaired the car and brought it back. Wow what service! The price he charged me for the labor was very fair and lower than any other bids I had obtained. Despite the early appointment issue David more than made up for it with his kind offer. The car runs fine and David gave me the old parts verifying the replacement. Had me in and out in an hour and everyone was very personable. I asked for a general inspection and oil change and they managed to find things that the local dealership hadn't in nearly two years; going above and beyond to make sure everything was double checked and taken care of. Mechanic even went ahead and took care of grease points, tire pressure, and other little odds and ends I wouldn't have recalled to ask for. He also would double back with me to inform me about things he found and recommended getting serviced and/or replaced, showing me the proof of why and offering options. I ended up giving him the go ahead on everything. It was nice to feel involved and informed every step of the process while knowing exactly who was working on my car. They didn't even mind that I just hung around nearby while the work was done, which shows a distinct level of confidence and trustworthiness. Would definitely recommend!
