The price quoted for the SunTek Evolve was $499 for doors and rear window. Seemed competitive. We were told it would take an hour. It took 2 1/2 BUT to be fair we were 30 minutes late for our appointment. If you can just drop the car off, I recommend that instead of waiting. We called around and this place had the best price and was able to get us the same day which was a huge plus. We brought a second vehicle so we didn't have to stick around and wait. However they do have a small waiting area with free bottles of water. I would recommend dropping your vehicle off and coming back for it. We've had the tint for a couple months now and so far we've had no issues and the services requested were done as we expected and as was explained to us. Will definitely bring future vehicle tint work to them. Also the young man working the counter was so sweet and he knew his stuff which is so nice to see young people being involved in a family business. First off they do great window tinting & I've been taking my vehicles to them back when they were in the corner of Pendelton Pike & Franklin. Unfortunately today was a very different experience. They have been giving 10% military discounts since I've been going to them and when I initially talked to them about my recent vehicle I asked if they still have the 10% military discount i was to yeah. So my appointment was today at 8am for just the front windshield only. When I got there apparently everyone else had the same appointment time (not tripping on it though). About 2hr 15 minutes later I was called up to pay. So with the pay with cash deal & 10% discount it should've been $179 but it rang up to $189. So I asked about the price difference and the daughter stated its always been 5%, although I had my receipt from my last vehicle they did that has 10% printed on it. I wasn't trying to argue over it so I paid it and said I just put that in my review. Went to use the bathroom I figured the keys would be ready by that time. But when I came out the restroom her father was at the counter with an attitude, he stated my daughter said you're going to leave us a negative review! Stating in a review that I was told one thing and now being told another is well within my right to put out there. I told him I already paid and im just waiting for my car. He then says I have your tint in my hand and I don't have to put it on. He told me he was going to give me my refund and not do my car as he walked back into the shop slamming the door, I said okay. Im at the counter waiting to get my money back but no one was giving me my money back or my vehicle. Another tint guy was walking through I to him to tell the father that I'm waiting on my refund and car like he had threatened. So he opens the door halfway and said he's going to do it but take his time doing it. I was prepared for my refund and go elsewhere, I told him you're not going to take your time after being here 2hr & 15minutes. I had to call the police because now you're holding my vehicle hostage and wasting my time. I went outside while talking to dispatch and the daughter whips my car around into a parking spot and now he has my refund that he initially threatened to give me. He had my keys in his hand and shoved them into my chest (I responded with pushing him away from me). Im still on the phone with dispatch and instead of him going inside his business he continues to approach me and make threats (not harmful threat). If your discount has changed then so be it but don't get mad at me if I have questions about it. And before all his unhingeness I already paid what you wanted and was ready to leave. He got mad about a review! A review! Terrible that you treated a long time customer like that and although you threatened to let other shops know not to do business with me, im sure I'll find a more professional shop. You need to learn how to talk and deal with customers. I told you multiple times I didn't want to argue with you, I accepted the 5% and paid my bill but you decided to come from the back and act like a fool. DAMAGED MY BRAND NEW CAR and taking zero accountability! Had to bring my car back for a second time to re-do the windshield and side windows that had creases and scratches in the tint. Realized when I got home that they only re-did the windshield and damaged my center console/ cup holder area. Mind you I brought my car there with the cup holder area closed and when I picked it up it was open. Denying any damage on their part. I'm absolutely sick to my stomach. When the lady pulled my car around...she had a toddler on her hip that she then placed on her lap behind the wheel unbuckled as she drove my car around. After 2 hours of waiting I inquired what was taking so long. (Only doing 2 front windows). She rudely informed me my car hadn't even been touched. A friend has the same car that I have, and he took his here for window tinting and was very happy with it. Since his turned out really well, I thought I'd swing by one afternoon and get a quote to add some additional tinting to my windows. Knowing nothing about cars, I took mine in and told them I wanted some tinting on my windows. The two guys that were there came out and took a look and said there was already tinting on it, and that the cost would be double because they would have to take off what was already there. Well, damn. So much for an inexpensive way to darken the fairly light tint already on my windows. Hrm.. They did tell me they could put tinting over the top, but it would bubble over time and wouldn't look very good. I appreciated that they were honest with me as well as extremely nice. Even though the costs would be more than I had expected, if I do end up biting the bullet and getting something darker, Indianapolis Window Tinting is the only place I'll go. read more

They're priced fair for the service they offer and it truly is first come first serve. My car was in and out in two hours flat. Quality earns two star. The product is top of the line for each of the 3 tiers that they offer. Overall service earns the remaining two stars. The guy at the front is pretty cool and really wants to make sure your experience is a positive one. If you're waiting in the lobby he will be honest with you and let you know if you should probably get some lunch first. While in the waiting room he brought out bottles of water for everyone waiting. Definitely a next level service thing. The lobby and building both look legitimate and well established. I'm certainly bringing my next car here for a tint. In fact. Cheapest place in town to get your windows tinted. And normally that raises alarm for me since we all know you get what you pay for. But in this case they did an excellent job on my car and those of 3 friends. No wrinkling, no quality issues. They were a bit sloppy in the application with the fluid getting on the doors but that you can wipe off easily. The first day I was super worried since it looked super foggy but as the guy promised it went away. My friend who recommended them to me had his windows done over a year ago and they still look great. They are a first come, first serve establishment. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I went here and asked for my front windows to be tinted, and emphasized that I wanted the colors to match. The guy assured me that he could do it, when clearly he could not! I paid $340 for a junky job, and different color tint. After dozens of unanswered calls, I drove all the way back up there and spoke to the owner. She was extremely rude and immediately asked for a receipt. Once I provided the receipt, I pointed out the wrong color and the other bubbles and ripples. She responded and said, "looks fine to me!" HOW RIDICULOUS! She would not give a refund and also wanted $20 to remove this trash tint job. Do NOT go to Indianapolis Window SCAMMERS!! They are a waste of money! Save your time...go to Wax Werks. Although this place only charged me $120 for all windows and an eyebrow, they did an unsatisfactory job. It's been 2 weeks and I've found 5 wrinkles on 4 of the windows. They also treated me very poorly when I came in 3 hours later asking (just asking) how much longer it might be. I took my car back to tell them about the problems and the same guy that treated me like crap said some sarcastic remarks that almost made me tell them to strip the tint and give me my money back. I'm still trying to schedule a time to get the windows redone, but now I'm scared they will do an even worse job. The only nice person there was the guy that ran my credit card. I got my 5% ceramic tints a week ago and as soon as I got in the vehicle from that point I saw where they cut my driver window short on one side, the left and both rear triangles were cut short on multiple sides allowing light to pass thru and the passenger door my the mirror crinkled after opening it on day 5, I called and they said bring it in and we'll take care of you and when I went in the sloppy ass dog faced bitch at the desk said it wasn't bad enough and they won't replace it, $300 tints should be fucking sparkling.... read more

JUNK. I'm sitting waiting for them to redo my car for the 3rd time. I brought my vehicle just to have the front windows match the rear and was displeased right when I got home. They missed a half inch by the a-pillar corner on both windows, and it was obvious excessive bubbles were not going to go away even though he wanted to insist they would. Their solution to fixing the corner was painting it black. REALLY. I argued again and made my point clear I was completely unhappy. I didn't realize how poorly a job this place did. It's just a gamble I guess. Meanwhile, the employee is running around telling all his friends what an ass I am for complaining.
