I went in looking for whatever level of polish I could get within a roughly $500 budget, and Rod ended up delivering essentially a three-stage correction within that budget. The quality of the work, service, and value were all excellent, and we were genuinely thrilled with how the car turned out. We had just purchased the vehicle CPO with about 30,000 miles on it. We bought it Wednesday afternoon in Virginia and drove it home by Thursday night. By Friday morning, some dried mud was unfortunately wiped off the paint, leaving several additional scratches on top of some clear-coat scratches and deeper marks that were already there. Vik Black is a beautiful metallic black, but it shows almost everything. We dropped the car off with Rod Monday morning. Our goal was not showroom perfect. We just wanted the paint to look significantly better without spending well over $1,000. Rod initially discussed around a two-step polish for roughly $450, but what we ultimately received was essentially a three-stage correction for $500. Comparable quotes I had seen for that level of work were well north of $1,000. The car was washed, decontaminated and clay barred, polished, then worked again with a heavier compound and wool pad in areas with deeper defects, followed by a final polish and wax. The result was fantastic. The car is not absolutely perfect under every light, but it is also a 30,000-mile CPO vehicle with some deeper scratches. For what we asked for and what we paid, the improvement was excellent. More importantly, this was a car we had literally just brought home, and after the correction it finally felt like the new-to-us vehicle we had been excited about buying in the first place. The service was just as good. I have increasingly felt that with most businesses you can pick two of three: great quality, great service, or a great price. Rod somehow managed all three. Rod originally expected the job to take one day. Around midday Monday, he called and left me a voicemail asking whether he could keep the car until the following morning because it could benefit from some additional work. I was in a meeting and could not respond right away. When he had not heard back from me within about an hour, he decided to honor the turnaround he had originally promised and worked double time to finish the additional work. The car was ready that same Monday evening. When we picked it up, Rod and his team were clearly proud of the work and excited to show us the result. That meant a lot. You can tell when someone genuinely cares about the work they are putting their name on, and that was absolutely the feeling we got. They were transparent, stayed within budget, and did more than I expected without trying to upsell me into something I did not want. I am actually pretty critical when it comes to paying a lot for detailing services, so I do not give this kind of recommendation lightly. In this case, I felt like every dollar was well spent. Rod and his team gave us exactly what we were hoping for, and then some. I would absolutely trust Darring's Detail with our vehicles again. Thank you to Rod and the entire team for making our new-to-us GV70 look like something we could be excited about all over again.

Our 2023 Tesla with PPF on…read morethe nose, withheld the sand in Arizona the sand in Florida the brutal beating in Maine and the cold temperatures of North Dakota. I cannot say enough about Rod and the whole crew. we took our 2026 model Y to have Darrings detail apply PPF to it although they were extremely busy he actually took us in on a Sunday when they were closed treated us like royalty and identified a dent that we completely missed when we took delivery. We notified Tesla and believe it or not, they showed the dent in their pre-delivery photos that they took of the car so after much running around and talking to people, Tesla finally is taken care of it. Many thanks to Rod and his team. again they did an outstanding job on the car. I would highly recommend them and we will definitely go back.

I was met by John Hurst and also spoke to Isaiah Tufts. Both great guys, responsive and knew their stuff. I let them know I used to detail cars and simply didn't have time to do it myself. So, the positives. Communication was great. Like I mentioned, John and Isaiah were great. I knew they did a lot of higher end cars and just wanted to see if they would detail our daughters first car. Location was great, huge warehouse and they had the supplies any top line detail company would offer. Exterior of the car was done great. The vehicle looked like it hasn't been washed in months. Tons of bugs and a couple areas that needed buffed out, and they cleaned it up fantastic. They really exceeded my expectations. It is a white CRV and one that the body was actually in pretty good shape and they cleaned it up nicely. White cars typically hide imperfections more than black or darker cars, and for a 2013, they cleaned it up great. Although, I was surprised the wheels didn't get any dressing. The cost for an interior and exterior was $350, which was fine, if the job was done correctly. The interior is where the job was somewhat subpar. The windows were cleaned, but not brought down, to get the area that's always covered, so I knew the windows weren't completely cleaned correctly. The section between the seats is still dirty and the storage compartment and glove box areas were all still dirty as well as the back of the vehicle. There were other areas that simply weren't given the attention I thought they would be. I honestly hoped the time and detail was given to the interior, as was with the exterior. Overall, I'd give the exterior a 10, the interior an 7.5.

They had really good reviews so I decided to contact them for pricing. They follow up with me very quickly with prices and I was able to get on the schedule within a few days. Upon arrival I realized that I have passed by this place many times, just thought it was an old auto shop. I arrived at my scheduled time and was able to look at my available options on the wall to get a good idea of what I wanted. I chose the 33% tint for my front two windows. The installation estimate was an hour, but total time ended up being 40 mins. Very happy with the outcome and love knowing that I have a lifetime warranty.

I purchased a Groupon for up to 6 windows. I called multiple times to ask which Groupon to get…read more When I got there I was told I purchased the wrong one, I have a 26 crv and i firgot about the two back windows . So they said let's die front two windows with ceramic. I advised that I needed 20 tint to match back glass and wanted 59 tint in front windshield. When I picked up the car they put on 25 tint and 60 which I didn't ask for so the bait and switch. The manager promised me that they would redo all windows 6 and back windows at the 20 tint with no charge. I agree and brought my car back on Thursday and the desk was off. They didn't hero their eord with the guy who dies the tint saying the manager didn't know how this eirks. They they go inside to talk and then come back to say we can't do this after I was promised. I felt I was being harassed etc and told them that I couldn't take the back and forth cause I suffer ptsd and this was to stressful. I said just fix the front 2 window to be ver with it. I learned my lesson . I would never do business with this company again and advise anyone who buys this Groupon that it's a bait and switch.
