I had been putting off repairing my 6th Gen IPod Touch. The battery meter had been acting up for a several years. I would fully charge my IPod, but after a couple uses (not more than a total of an hour and a half), the battery would already signal "Low Battery". I decided to search through the Yelp App for a place that repairs IPod. I came across Du Mobile and decided to go there for service. Upon arriving at Du Mobile, Mike assisted me in getting my IPod touch repaired. It took a little over a week to get my IPod repaired. I dropped it off on Thursday 5/5. I got my IPod back on Monday 5/16. I had to call the store a couple of times to check on the status of my IPod. The battery was replaced and repair was done with the charging port on the IPod. The reason for the longer turnaround time was because a new battery was ordered and took some time to get to the store. The service costed me $120. Nah man. Just nah. Began by messaging the owner Mike D. through the Yelp app. Shared with them my make and model of phone and then settled on a price. "Can you do it this morning?" "Yes" Showed up after 10am with a phone with broken glass. Well, as you can see from the picture, the signage is for tax help. Just a little confusing. There's one man (CPA?) sitting at a desk in front and he mumbled to me that the phone people would be in in about 30 minutes. So the first guy shows up- looks at my phone and says that the phone is not an iPhone and that he needs to call the other guy. Other guy lives "5 min away" but probably had to wake up and get dressed so that took another half hour or so. First guy takes next customer and goes to town on her iPhone. Second guy shows up and gives me an awesome run around starting at $180 for the screen and install, then ending up at $70 for installation only. Then he says that it'll take him a few days, so I'd need to leave it. Seeing as that wasn't really an option, I take the phone and go. As I'm just about home, I get a message: "I will try to get it done tomorrow if you want to leave it" No thanks. Even if I'd wanted to, I'd have to go back to "leave it." read more

What's up with the paid positive reviews. The owner is a professional business scam artist. One time I came into his shop asking if he can replace the battery from my mini ipad. He said "yes" and wanted to be paid up front for the repair job which I regrettably agreed. Two weeks gone by with no answer or results. Keeps promising 'the next day it will be done" yet that was a lie. Keeps pushing the days off until he finally admits to damaging my unworkable ipad and had the nerve to resell me another Ipad as a replacement. I had to report his actions to the BBB.
