On arrival the driver stated that the vehicle may just need a jump and then proceefed to jump the car without communicating a price first. After the jump was completed through a jumper box (no other vehicle needed), he stated that the price would be $130 dollars just to jump the car. This was not communicated before he proceeded to jump the car. If it were, we would have not proceeded with the service since it was accessible for us to do it ourselves. He also stated that his price was actually a low price compared to others which charge 170 or 150. He stated that that he had no control over the price and that is "boss" did. I met Ed almost 10 years ago when I had an issue with the mirror on the driver side of the car. Ed evaluated it and I thought, gave me a fair price. He didn't need to keep my car for more than necessary. When he returned my car, it looked as good as from the factory. A few weeks ago my car was infolved in an accident. I went to Ed after I got an estimate, and his bid was substantially less than the first quote. The insurannce that handled the accident report agreed to the quote, and they began repair.
