Dark chocolate gelato
Terri B.

Fun! A little on the higher price side, all of the Dubai cafes are. We tried the gelato, and the mango dessert. The mango was worth it!!! We loved it; will go back for more too. I'm going back to try the pistachio latte!

This spot is inside an HEB so I was a little worried when I first pulled up to the HEB parking lot. It's a stand that was very clean and well kept right near the entrances. I was met with a friendly cashier/barista (there was only one person working). She answered my questions and also quickly made our drinks once ordered. I went with my usual black island which I adore. The pandan coconut flavors with an espresso kick go very well together in my opinion. I think their coffee in general is great and not overly acidic so I get the taste of coffee and kick of caffiene all in a flavorful drink! Definitely an ideal location for yours truly and a great stop for coffee if you're showing guests various establishments Houston has to offer!

My staples are usually island latte and black island. There has been some seasonals that were good but I can't remember the names. For the winter 2025 menu they have a delicious red velvet latte. I ordered it hot because it's a but nippy outside and it comes with 1 shot if espresso. If you are wanting/needing more then let them know!. I've never had a red velvet latte nor have I ever seen it on a menu so I gave it a try. Surprisingly good! It had a nice hint of peppermint and a slight mocha taste. I don't like mocha coffee and I think this was a very good subtle peppermint mocha. If you don't like peppermint then this drink is not for you. I would definitely get this again and a bigger cup or better yet see if they would put it in one of my own mugs. They started selling breakfast tacos! If I was hungry I would have gave it a go but I wasn't so next time! I love the addition of a coffee shop within heb. I never have enough time in my day and it's nice you knock off groceries and a tasty coffee in one stop. They do have merchandise for purchase as well. You honestly can't miss it because it so nice bright and an inviting spot that you can see from the check out counter. Unless you are at self check out then you may miss the coffee shop. I wish their IG page stays updated with their seasonal drinks available. I am a sucker to try out seasonal drinks and usually I plan out my visit by seeing their IG pages first to see what they currently have to offer.

I frequent the Clear Lake area pretty often and just discovered the & Brew Coffee off El Dorado…read more I've seen them around town but never got a chance to check them out until recently. I just got done with a lunch date nearby and needed a little pick me up to finish my errands. I'm assuming all their locations are similar in that this place is a drive thru or walk up concept. I almost drove past because the drive thru line spilled out into the road but then I saw they had two lanes moving at a pretty rapid pace. Just from what I saw, it seemed like the whole staff was young, high school kids, but they were working hard. They had multiple people walking the lines with an iPad taking orders and keeping traffic flowing. I explained it was my first time so the young lady gave a quick run down of some of their popular items and asked what flavor profiles I like. The line moved quick and I liked that they took the time to wipe down each drink before handing it over so there was no mess. Great customer service. I ended up ordering the Cookie Butter iced coffee. The flavors of this coffee included toasted marshmallow, hazelnut and white chocolate breve. I like a breve because you get a creamier drink. The flavors worked well together and I really enjoyed my drink. I typically like a more coffee forward drink, but every once in awhile I like a dessert like drink. This was that. 7 Brew is one of many like chains in the area so competition is high out here. In my opinion, this place has a slight edge over the other places in that they have a great variety of drinks and great customer service. I will most definitely be back.

This place seriously needs to reevaluate its leadership. I learned this week the respected manager…read moreof this 7brew was abruptly fired, and now instead of handling it professionally, upper management is now allegedly been feeding employees different excuses and stories afterward as to why she has been let go. As a customer, this is unacceptable behavior as a good businesses doesn't throw employees away and then cover it up with gossip and contradictions. If this is how they treat management internally, I can only imagine how disposable regular employees are considered. It says a lot about a company when they can't treat loyal employees with honesty or respect. Customers only see the drinks -- they don't see the toxic management culture behind the counter. Potential employees should think twice before applying here. Drinks aren't worth supporting a workplace culture like that.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and you can tell a lot of care goes into every dish and dessert. A special shoutout to Chris, our server, who made the experience even better. Let me preface this review by stating that I have been to this establishment multiple times & had…read moreglowing, amazing service each time. However, my last experience with this establishment left a horrible taste in my mouth. Therefore, I am giving them an extra star for the previous experiences. On May 17th, 2026, my best friend and I had been looking forward to coming to Water Oak all day and had our taste buds set for the occasion. We were famished and had quite a day up until arriving. Upon entering the restaurant, we were very briefly greeted by the a Hispanic man who I assume is the manager and told that they were "no longer seating for the day". I glanced around and saw that every table inside WAS seated, however there were many tables outside that were empty. I asked about the patio stating that us where we preferred to sit anyway, and was met with that they were also not seating the patio at all for the rest of the day. However, there was a group of 3 women seated outside on the patio at that exact time. I didn't say anything, simply turned and left. After having "one of those days" hashing out something so minute with a person who clearly didn't want us in their place of business was not something I was about to do. Keep in mind, we came on a Sunday afternoon. Prime brunch time. We arrived at the restaurant around 2:30PM, and their website says they don't close until 4PM. I am a biracial black woman and my friend is white. I noticed a significant amount of White and Latino patrons, but a shocking lack of Black people. With Houston having one of the most diverse populations in the US, it is almost impossible not to see at least one individual of each ethnicity in a place at any given time. I am definitely not one that likes to pull the race card, because oftentimes that is not the issue. However, as someone who is familiar with the service industry I understand Sundays can be extremely overwhelming. And I am cognizant that not everything is that serious. But, I am also aware that a lot of people in the industry discriminate against people of color, with stigmas that we don't leave enough gratuity or we "don't fit the vibe of their establishment". And those 3 women seated on the patio? All White. After reading recent reviews, it seems that management is discriminating against people of color, more specifically Black folks. This is an extremely disheartening and sickening realization to make, seeing as I have given well over $1,000 worth of my money here but also enjoyed many meals without issue. To management: It breaks my heart to have to write this review and to be honest, I wouldn't have written it if I hadn't seen others posting about similar experiences in addition to also feeling discriminated against. I highly suggest that if you are "not seating" after a specific time, you announce this via social media or alert potential patrons with a sign or something of the sort. & obviously, there is such an issue with treatment towards POC that it is a noteworthy problem via your Google & Yelp reviews. You will have a much bigger fish to fry on your hands if you continue to let this issue go on unrectified. I would be willing to return if I felt things were to be changed for the better in the future! Hopefully this review sparks a much needed conversation and brings attention to an area which needs work.
