Cute place. Lots of construction for the parking lot but it's only temporary, despite that it is still annoying (4/24/26). They have banh mi, desserts, baked goods, coffees, and matcha. The variety of specialty drinks is intriguing.. there's Vietnamese coffee where it has egg, ube Vietnamese coffee, and others. The matcha is pretty standard with strawberry and a few other variations. I tried the egg Vietnamese coffee it was strong and tasty, very sweet. I also tried the banh mi croissant which was cold cut meats(pork) and had pork floss. I don't think that was for me the croissant wasn't a traditional one but a softer version and I think it just has too much pork for my taste. However; it was cut and put together nicely. Brown sugar waffle - delicious but it was quite tiny for the price Pork floss waffle - probably my favorite of the food items I got. The pork tasted fresh and the butter on top was the perfect balance. Again, I do wish it was a bit bigger though Summer rolls - the Jicama (I think) was a nice touch in it. It gave it a nice crunch. Space was really cute, but I felt some people just used chairs for their items instead of allowing people to sit. Not so good of an experience anymore. I come here very often and the drinks have been inconsistent, sometimes too sweet, too much vanilla syrup, or have absolutely no taste at all. The shop is not even that busy anymore probably because of the inconsistency. They're currently doing a Giveaway for Christmas where if you spend $25+ and leave a 5-star review, you'll get a tote bag or a tumbler. I bought some drinks and food in the early morning and spent $30, but they didn't mention the giveaway at all. We asked about the tote bag and they said it's for big orders only, sure? Tried the beverages and drinks here recently. The coffee itself was solid and worth coming back for, but the rest of the experience was mixed. The Lychee Mojito was overwhelmingly sweet -- tasted heavily loaded with simple syrup and artificial lychee flavor. I also ordered the pork bánh mì, but the meat and ingredients tasted low quality and I ended up not eating the sandwich. The garlic cheese bread was decent, though. Overall, I'd stick to the coffee and skip the food menu. Good for college kids who want to drink coffee and study. read more

There is a decent amount of seating, but on the weekends it may be a bit more crowded so finding a seat will be difficult. The interior is very cute and well thought out. Lots of photo-ops. I've tried their blueberry matcha, Vietnamese egg coffee, matcha with sea salt foam, and the cookies n cream matcha. I personally don't like getting fruit flavored matchas because it overpowers the matcha flavor, but surprisingly it isn't overpowering at all. Definitely a cafe I would come back to. read more

I have always been a fan of Mille Cafe but unfortunately I had a bad experience with their matcha this time. I remember getting the matcha latte the first time and being amazed by it. I got the same matcha latte with vanilla sweetener this time but I noticed that the matcha seemed grainy. It was indeed grainy and made it very difficult to enjoy my drink. I have to stir my drink before every sip to reduce the grainy taste of it. My friend got a matcha latte as well but theirs was perfectly normal and not like this at all. I loved the black sesame matcha it was so good!! Usually when I get black sesame drinks or flavored things in general the other flavors easily overpowers the black sesame or the other way around but this was such a good balance between the matcha and the black sesame where I could taste both and they complimented each other well. My friend suggested Mille to go study and said that they had the BEST matcha. Coming here, it did not disappoint. It is a Vietnamese cafe with both drinks and food/ snack options. The vibe in here is very homey and warm toned with the orangish brown wood. The server was so nice and recommended different drinks. I have gotten both the cookies and cream matcha and the regular matcha latte (not pictured). The cookies and cream foam by itself was 9/10 so sweet, had the exact flavor and was thick. When mixed together, it made the texture of the matcha a bit grainy but the flavor was good 7/10 together. But the matcha latte itself. WOW. 10/10. It was sweet but not overly sweet, the texture was buttery smooth and the matcha flavor was not diluted. Studying here is good too because of their seating and free wifi. I actually love their coffee and I do recommend coming here if you are in the area. They also serve other specialty drinks and food so I'll definitely try that if I'm in the area next time. Hands down the best matcha I've ever had! It's such a shame that it's over an hour away but the cafe itself is really cute. I ordered a strawberry matcha latte with oat milk and it was delicious. Mixed together you could taste the sweetness of the strawberry but it didn't overpower the flavor of the matcha. I also tried their cheesecake and as someone who typically is not a fan, I really enjoyed it. It wasn't too sweet or too cheesy tasting. The only downside was the service. The girls called my order number and I stepped up to grab it, but they were chit chatting, hugging, and laughing, and what felt like blatantly ignoring me, until I finally caught the attention of the barista making the drinks and she handed them to me and then apologized because even she could tell that the cashiers were blatantly not paying attention. Went to the cafe on my fiancés recommendation. I do not like iced coffee and am not that into match so i order hot coffees. When I order a flat white It should be a 1:3 espresso to milk ratio in a 4-6 oz cup. Not a 16oz coffee. Having a La Marzocco in there gave me a false sense of hope that my hot Coffee would be made right. At first, this place was kinda hard to find -- all the shops outside looked the same, like they were just built or recently remodeled. But once I walked in? Super cute and aesthetic. There was a sign that said something like "please place your order before grabbing a seat" -- so I'm guessing it gets busy. I saw people studying, filming videos, all that. They had a bunch of interesting items -- seasonal summer drinks, a whole tiramisu series, and even salted egg sponge flan. I went with the avocado coconut drink and loved it. The nuts on top gave it that Vietnamese avocado smoothie vibe, but the fresh coconut made it really refreshing. I'd definitely get it again. One of my favorite cafes ever, and my go-to spot for an iced matcha latte! My favorite orders here are a sweetened iced matcha latte, strawberry croffles, and a sweetened iced jasmine green tea with grass jelly. The baristas here are very helpful in providing good suggestions and recommendations for drinks, and the drinks come out reasonably quickly. The decor in this cafe is beautiful and they often have seasonal decor, making the atmosphere festive and inviting. I study here often and they have plenty of space and outlets to do work. They are Vietnamese-owned and have plenty of Vietnamese inspired drinks and food items on the menu, making it a great place to get a quick bite to eat and drink to sip while working and conversing with friends. This place has definitely brought a lot of traffic to the Friendswood/League City area, and I can definitely see why! read more

Mille has one of the tastiest matcha lattes I've had in a while. I've gotten it twice now, once sweetened, and once as is. Both times I was very impressed. The matcha is rich and smooth, not grainy at all. The flavor of the latte was very well balanced and felt very light. The sweetened matcha latte was a good treat and the unsweetened one was great for studying and sipping. Service was quick and the place was full of people studying. Highly recommend as a study spot, especially if you can find a spot at a nice table. The place gets a lot of natural sunlight and looks very clean with plenty of outlets and stable wifi. I really like this as a study spot. It has the feel of a hip and trendy Montrose coffee shop but in Webster. It's always packed inside though, so sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit if you're going with a group or more than one other person. I love all the natural light inside. The service is really fast as well even though they're always busy. The actual drinks are solid too. I've gotten the brown sugar coffee drink and the blueberry matcha before and both were really good. I even had one of their smoothies, and I was happy with the portion sizes as well. Mille is a Vietnamese cafe that offers a variety of drinks and bites. This was my second visit, and we tried the avocado coffee and the strawberry matcha latte. I'd say the avocado coffee could definitely be sweeter because the strong Viet coffee really made the drink more on the bitter side. I enjoyed the strawberry matcha latte, but also felt like it would be better if it was just a tad bit sweeter. This is completely different from my first visit, when I tried the egg coffee and thought it was too sweet. Beware though, their Viet coffee is strong and not for the weak hearted! I'd say I have a pretty high caffeine tolerance as a grad student who drinks a coffee and an energy drink daily, but I could barely finish half of the egg coffee I got without feeling super jittery. Parking- plentiful. I've always been able to find a parking space right away. The coffee here was good. I had the egg coffee. Rice paper salad was also good to me. I think the chicharones could have been the more crunchy kind instead of the more fluffy kind. I also had the pork belly banh mi here. Now I do have a problem with that bc the pork belly is supposed to be crunchy. However, the meat in the sandwich that's supposed to be pork belly was not crunchy to me. I was disappointed in that. Mille Cafe might be my new favorite place to get some work done on my laptop in the Baybrook Mall area. Authentic Vietnamese drinks and snacks. Lots of natural lighting. Modern interior. Friendly staff. What took over the old 85°C bakery space, Mille Cafe is a great addition to the Baybrook area. They have plenty of seating, tables, chairs, and outlets whether you're getting work done or just meeting with friends. They offer a variety of Vietnamese coffee, tea, drinks, pastries, croffles, banh mi, and other snacks. I personally loved their ube coffee and banh mi xiu mai. The ube coffee had that strong Vietnamese coffee taste, but was balanced out with sweet ube cold foam. Then the banh mi had great crusty bread, pickled carrots, juicy meatballs, and special sauce to bring it all together. The coffee and banh mi was the perfect mid day study pick me up that I needed. Overall, Mille Cafe is a great Vietnamese family owned coffee shop. With their unique variety of drinks and snacks, I can definitely see this place doing really well for years to come. I was sad when 85 closed during covid on this very building but after visiting what replaced it in Mille Cafe, maybe I'm not so upset anymore. The cafe is situated on a strip right outside Baybrook Mall. Parking isn't too bad. The space inside is open and airy with plenty of seating to lounge or get work done. The young lady behind the counter was nice and friendly. The menu is a lot like other modern Vietnamese coffee shops with some Vietnamese and Asian drinks like matcha, egg coffee and cafe sua da, and also basic coffee shop staples like lattes and cappuccinos as well as snacks and other beverages. I opted for the egg coffee and it was creamy and bold, just the perfect post-lunch kick. Overall I'm glad this shop opened on this side of town. If you're looking for a caffeine boost or a place to get some work done, come here instead of going to the chain coffee shops popping up every where. read more

I cannot convey how excited I was to discover that a Vietnamese coffee shop opened up in the Baybrook area! As a student always looking for a study spot with plenty of seating, outlets, quiet music, natural lighting, and a variety of drink and food options, Mille Cafe checks all the boxes! The modern aesthetic of the cafe is reminiscent of the cafes in Saigon, and being Vietnamese family-owned, the food and drinks are the most authentic you can get in the area without having to venture all the way to Bellaire.
