Meh, these guys are ok...Nah, not really:) After looking at the feedbacks I was a bit skeptical, I thought there's must be a skeleton or something in the closet. These folks are great. From the very 1st email to the last. About 2 weeks ago I asked them if they could do a KO4 turbo upgrade, intercooler swap, DSG tune and oil change on my MK6 GTI. I knew it wasn't a quick job, so I applied for an appointment for about 10 days a head. They sent me estimates with labor and parts, it was very professional. Dealing with a certain tuning company has never been an easy thing to do. However these guys made it happen! Everything was ready to go when I took my car up there. (I'm from Lexington, KY ). They did an awfully great job. Very throughout, very clean. They even threw a few freebies in there ( lug bolt, drain plug, etc..), which I kind of expected after giving them a nice chunk of money...lol. Bottom line, the Dubwerx stuff is pretty awesome. I love the new ride, and I agree with many others the KO4 should be the factory turbo on the GTI. ( I believe it is on the R model). Love the feel of it, can't wait to go to work every single morning. Took my wife for a ride and she said quote: "We'll definitely use my car when we going on a vacation". Haha, that was the exact impression I was looking for! The "D" mode is fast, and the "S" is insane. ( For us FWD car drivers). I was at stage2 for a while, and noticed when I'm in D the torque steer is more manageable with the KO4 than it was at stage2. However, when I'm in sport mode, the torque steer is much more noticeable. I know it's weird, go figure. Anyways, thanks a lot dudes, it was a true pleasure to doing business with you. But that and the fact that it was raining, almost out of gas and had my kid in the car meant squat to you. A response of "let me look at it for a minute and if I can help great, otherwise I'll have to schedule it" would have been more than satisfactory. I was thankful to your mech for the screwdriver but irked you thought I had to thank YOU for anything, much less me fixing my own car in the rain. My day was fine, it was your last comment that led me to post. I think you need to go visit some competition to re-experience customer service. I have been taking my 2010 Golf TDI here ever since the free maintenance from the dealer ran out. I came to them on recommendations from friends with VW's since I knew maintaining a TDI can be a different beast. They have done the last 2 maintenance intervals for me cheaper than the dealer, closer than the dealer and very satisfactorily. I look forward to taking my diesel here for years. read more

Dubwerx is as good as it gets for quality customer service on your VW. Price for oil change and accompanying service is slightly less than VW dealer and just as convenient if not more. The Dubwerx staff is informative and prompt with service. For this particular oil change, I had the option of an appt or drop the car off overnight. The next appt was 8 days away bc some bays were being renovated. So we dropped off the car Tuesday night and Wednesday after work we picked it up. I just did not want to wait while service is completed. All good this time and previous visit for tune up. I much prefer their expertise over the dealership service. read more

I have used Dubwerx for many of my issues with my 1998 GTi VR6. As stated they are very easy to talk to and provide great service. Doug and Ryan are especially helpful in determining the best approach to solving issues. They have been flexible in getting work done and also in following up and making sure the customer is happy with the work. My experience with Dubwerx has always been above my expectations. The customer service, knowledge and workmanship is as good as it gets.

I had taken a car I was thinking of buying to the dealer for a pre-purchase inspection. I felt like all the dealer wanted to do was get in my pockets. I bought the car anyway but took it to Dubwerx for a 2nd opinion. First of all they squeezed me in on a very short notice (less than 24 hours). Secondly, within 30 min they had a good idea of what was going on, laid out all possible solutions (including something Audi had extended warranty unknown to me), and then ruled out all possible problems. I saved a lot of money by bringing it here and not trusting the dealers word. If you are looking for a partner in the mechanic arena for Audi and VW, these guys don't get any better. After having a sensor replaced on my daughter's 2009 Jetta by the mechanic that services our cars, I took a friend's recommendation and made an appointment (through the website) to have the car looked at for any service/maintenance needs by the group at Dubwerx. I was immediately impressed by the website, and how quickly I heard back from Adrian. I got an email confirming my appointment, and then a phone call from Adrian. He thoroughly explained everything to me. I really appreciated the detail and patience he had making sure I understood everything. There were a couple minor maintenance items he suggested be done on the car, which they were able to do that day!! Best of all, he said the car looked to be in great shape and they saw nothing to be concerned about with it. I feel so comfortable now with my teenager driving this car. I've been taking my car to Dubwerx for several years - since owing my first diesel in about 2006. The work is very good, and the mechanics are knowledgeable and polite, explaining whatever is going on in terms I can understand, answering my questions completely. I find their prices a bit high, but I'm willing to pay for good service for my Jetta diesel. It's with great pleasure that I can say I like that they've done the remodeling and expansion because there wasn't anyplace to wait in the past, when I would come from out of town to get my car worked on by them (tells you how well recommended they are). Now I live closer, and appreciate that I can sit on site while my car is being serviced. I did have one incident with Ryan being very short with me, but I recognize that everybody can be temperamental once in awhile. It's because of this and the high prices that I'm giving them four stars instead of five. I recommend them for working on VWs and especially diesels. read more
