6.30.23 Duck Donuts are premium and supreme of all donuts. They are made to order so they come out fresh and warm. My mother-in-law purchased a dozen donuts which my brother-in-law's fam who live in Florida had never had before. They loved it so much we came back two consecutive days after. The shop was bustling when we arrived on a Thursday morning around 9:30am. I can only imagine how busy it gets on the weekend. On Friday morning, there were not people waiting outside the store so I thought it would be a quick to place the order and pick up. However, that was not the case. We placed the order at 9:06 and our donuts were ready around 9:33. It may be best to place the order online unless you want to wait awhile. There are two kiosks to the right to place your order and pay. On Friday morning, the kiosk was glitchy so I placed the order at the counter. To the left of the store is the assembly station and pick up area. They offer donuts as singles, 1/2 dozen, or a dozen. They also serve sandwiches, ice cream, and coffee. Now that we know Duck Donuts is nearby, we will make this an annual visit when we come to SC for our annual summer vacay.

My boyfriend and I purchased large iced lattes. The employee gave us mediums. When asked to fix the problem, I watched her pour the existing drink into a large cup and add ice! I asked her how many shots of espresso go in the medium and she replied "they both get two so it didn't matter which cup you put it in." INSANE.

Everyone is talking about Duck Donuts. There isn't a location close to my house, I finally got to try them on vacation. The hype is real. These are probably the best donuts I've ever had. They are made fresh in front of you while you wait. They all start with the base donut which is made fresh. You can taste how good the actual donut is without the toppings. That donut is then dipped in and flavored whichever way you choose. They are still warm after you get them. I had Bacon in the Sun. It's maple icing with chopped bacon & salted caramel drizzle. I tried a few others, but that was my favorite. They cost a little more than other competitors, but you get what you pay for. The store was clean and all the employees were friendly and helpful. I would love to try one of their egg sandwiches when I return.

I've seen this "shop" from a far, each time I'm in the White Marsh area, but never dropped in-timing always off This time was perfect, and so was the dessert! I can take or leave donuts. Grew up with KryKr, but now live surrounded by DD. Seldom partake But decided I'd give this place a try, and it did not disappoint! 1. They fry the donut right on front of your eyes 2. It's halfway between a fluffy airy KK and a dense cake-y DD: so perfect 3. You pick the toppings you want. And not just "sprinkled on" like they do donut holes at this place I went to in Brooklyn. They slather on your icing and then whatever else you want I got a "sundae": scoop of ice cream, icing, drizzle. My friend had REAL bacon bits atop hers Warning: you only need ONE! Will seriously satisfy that sweet tooth! I'll be back, but have to space those visits out! Haha

Came for the donuts left with the little ducks!

Stopped in to see what all the hype is about. The donuts looked delish, although we didn't get any. We own a jeep and have been searching high and low for miniature ducks while out of town (#duckduckjeep). To our surprise they have a ton here and are less expensive than Walmart/Target online. Staff was busy preparing orders and didn't recognize patrons upon entering or exiting the establishment. A simple good morning goes a long way.

Omg they should have more of these !!!! Everything about this place was absolutely delicious. Ima big DD fan for years but with one of these around in Poughkeepsie NY I would switch in a heartbeat. Sorry DD! We ordered all the donuts and they were all well balanced in TASTE, Fresh (warm) and absolutely beautiful and delicious !

So no tables to sit & eat. If you are looking for glazed donuts you need to go down the road. Only cake donuts. Very good cake donuts. Look on the website for flavors before going to order. They do have a order guide with photos at the cashier. All flavors are hand made to your order. You can't be in a hurray. They have coffee to go also.

Donuts tasted good but they have to improve on their delivery process. We ordered 4 donuts and it took 45 minutes.

Ask the Community - Duck Donuts

Don't you have filled donuts? Like jelly or Boston cream?

We received these donuts as a gratuity. I am not sure if they have filled donuts, but in my opinion I didn't care for these. I tasted one and I was done. You may have luck if you call the shop and ask.

Our must-order starters are the fried Brussels sprouts and the pimento cheese and chip dip. Wish there was more consistency in the tortilla chips as the restaurant made ones with honey dusting are superior to their store bought version. For mains, the smothered chicken is the standout. We much prefer it over the bone-in fried chicken--the pieces are juicier and more flavorful compared to the fried large bone-in chicken breast, which can be a bit less exciting. Go for the hot honey bird if you want a kick. The biscuits are a bit dry and A-OK - the butter and jam makes it taste better. If you're in the mood for something sweet with cinnamon and fall/winter spices, then sweet potato pancakes is a good option. The best value is coming during happy hour, though the offerings change periodically, so it's worth checking what's available. The restaurant is located right in the heart of Market Common, with free street parking and nearby lots, making it an easy and enjoyable stop overall.

My wife Michelle and I ordered French toast combos and Brenna sausage gravy combo. I was not expecting what I got. The food was delicious and cheaper than IHOP and better tasting. My wife and I both had scrambled eggs. They actually looked like scrambled eggs... I am use to flat omelette looking scrambled eggs which are not how you serve them. These were light and fluffy. I know it seems like a lot of focus on an egg but being a chef of 34 years and teaching young cooks about the importance of technique and plate presentation I was impressed. Now it's not high end food but it's good quality delicious food at good prices and the Wait staff were polite and friendly. The food came out piping hot. The wait was not long. Very clean place including bathroom. My wife was being blinded by a car that pulled in just right to reflect the sun light and we asked for the shade to be pulled down and the owner pulled it down. To the owner Do not change the quality or quantity of the food... the majority of people will pay for quality and quantity even if they have to wait. People will not pay for substandard food with long waits. Keep up the great work and we will be back!

There's a sign when you come in that says for parties of 18 people or more the gratuity will be added to the bill automatically. However, I went by myself and had a $10 breakfast, and they changed it to me automatically, too. They also charged me extra because I used a credit card. It felt like they are milking customers for every cent. While the food was pretty good, this sort of environment bothers me and makes me uncomfortable. I won't be going back. There are (many) other restaurants that don't add two surcharges on to my bill automatically.
