I had shopped there last year and bought a few things, but not meat. I stopped to see what was new,…read moreand found a package of frozen meat loaf I thought I would try. The label said 2.02 lbs @ 7.99 lb. When I got to the checkout, it rang up as 1.8 lbs @ 8.99 lb but I was talking to the cashier and didn't notice until I got home. The entire label read that the meatloaf was made on 4/6 and frozen on 4/13, so almost three months in the freezer. I was raised on home butchered meat, so the freezer time didn't bother me. I thawed it and cooked it. Out of the package the meat didn't appear to be anything other that hamburger that was very coarsely ground and wouldn't form a loaf. There were patches of white I first assumed to be fat, but they were still there after cooking,so they must have been some kind of filler or maybe cheese. The only seasoning appeared to me a whole lot of salt. Overall, the worst package of meat I've bought anywhere. And to top it off, the cashier charged me the 3% credit card fee, even though I paid cash. while she was telling me how great their meatloaf was.
