It really is a quaint and charming space. The breakfast in the morning was my favorite, literally home made cooking with many options like their egg casserole, yogurt and fruit, toast with jam, and some local coffee (from Pie in the Sky). Starting with the room: (we were in Quissett) we had a super comfy and plush king size bed with a bathroom on the small side. I'd say the one caveat/warning I have is for light sleepers - since you are a throwing rock's distance away from the ferry, you will likely hear the ferry fog horn each time it leaves the port. The remainder of the building was so cute and quaint with beautiful floors, and the best breakfast. You cannot miss their homemade granola which pairs perfectly with the yogurt. They had different main dishes everyday including quiches, scrambled eggs, and egg bakes, as well as desserts (the cranberry bread was our favorite) and fresh fruit. It was all amazing, and the coffee was solid! Parking was literally right behind the building. You are right in Woods Hole walking distance from several eateries. We didn't get any bikes to explore further but I would recommend looking into this! Above all, I cannot speak highly enough of how kind and helpful all the staff were. There were so many adorable details, I wish I had taken more photos. Inside, there's tea available all day, and free breakfast in the mornings. The spa is embedded right in the hotel, and when you're a guest using the amenities is seamless. You can easily get into an exercise class, like Zumba or yoga, or use the pool and the saunas- there's one with hot dry heat and another with steam. When you get up to your hotel room it feels more like you're in some kind of time capsule. They have kind of an exhibit of historical objects from the area. Then the room is kind of effortlessly elegant, in that unique New England-y way- just nice furniture, great materials in the bed sheets and whatnot, and some spiffy flair- like a luxurious tub with a huge tabletop for putting bubble bath, salts, spa essentials, maybe a bottle of wine?, and an outdoor terrace for having a light breakfast in the morning (put some fruit in your mini fridge, from the morning or from a market nearby). Edgartown is so quant and fun. This is right on Main Street and near all the shops and restaurants. It also has such a beautiful view of the boats and water. The room was clean and beds comfortable: The walls are thin and I could hear running and walking above my head. We also had a room on the Main Street and there is a loud bar outside our window that closed at 2:00 am. On Saturday night you can hear the people in line and music. Sunday morning they have early morning garbage trucks. I would stay here again due to location and views but perhaps stay on other side of hotel.

Upon booking last year the website mentioned two beach chairs and towels; this is a great service however there was only ONE chair available during our stay; I was a little disappointed. I planned to spend my mornings and some evenings sitting on the beach. Overall our stay was wonderful and I would give 5 if not for the frui flies & missing beach chairs. I'd definitely recommend and would stay again.

Perfect location, beautiful views of the Oaks Bluff harbor from our 3rd floor room balcony. We took advantage of the comfortable porches to people watch and view the breathtaking sunsets. Quiet despite being right on the street. Our room was very nicely decorated, spacious, extremely comfy beds, great shower and amazing A/C! Overall very cozy and quaint!
