Elise is just a wonderful person and made the trip special. She makes a breakfast out of this world and the inn has some great animal life. A few bobcats and she has nursed some wildlife back to health. Walk to the rural more private beach is less than ten minutes. We will most certainly be back!

This is an old house so you might hear noise from other rooms or when breakfast gets going, but I travel with earplugs & a mask so not a thing for me. Elise is welcoming & has tips for everything you can think of. Free wifi, amazing water & sunset views (except from the downstairs stone-wall room) and blissful calm. There is no AC but mostly it's not needed, and mini fridges in many rooms, bring a small cooler for a day at the beach, a beach towel, good walking shoes, and de-com-press.

This time we spent a couple days on this quaint island and took our time exploring. At the intersection of the Corner Store, there was a sign saying breakfast was being served every weekend from 8-11 at the Cuttyhunk Fishing Club. We made our way to the beautiful inn and were delighted to find out they accept debit/credit cards as well as Apple Pay. If you have ever been to Cuttyhunk, you know most of the businesses on the island accept cash only, and there is no ATM on the island (as of the time of my review). For breakfast, I got three large chocolate chip pancakes with a fruit cup on the side. My husband got the Vineyard Sound Bowl. We both enjoyed our food. I couldn't finish my portion (should've opted for the smaller portion); I had no idea how large those pancakes were! Our sweet, mild mannered server Emily took great care of us. She was personable and made us feel welcome. The grounds of rolling greens with the breathtaking views of Vineyard Sound and the historical building make you feel like you've stepped back in time. We will definitely be back! Tip- if you are coming from the harbor, it is a long walk so plan accordingly. The road is paved so it makes for a great scooter ride.

Renting the whole house provided ample space for all 13 of us, sunrise yoga on the front porch every morning was the perfect way to greet the day! The kitchen is well-equipped, the new gardens and potted plants add much to the grounds and the external environment of the Inn. Cuttyhunk is a fabulous place to get away from life's distractions and enjoy the natural world - there in abundance! Turn off your phone (cell service is sketchy there at best), leave your email habit behind and spend a relaxing vacation soaking in the unique New England small Island culture; it is good for your spirit! It was a no-go because of the vibe and so we were off to scout the second spot. Maybe in a normal day, we wouldn't be in the mood to wander but as it was, it was the space we were in. As we were getting ready to cross the street, I noticed the porch of Oaks Bluff Inn and we thought, hmmmm is this our spot? We came in and called the number and connected with the owner. We are checked in, have walked the town, gotten back in time for cookies & lemonade, and now getting ready for dinner out. We are going to buy a lotto ticket because we feel really happy and lucky to have found Oak Bluffs Inn and Erik. Oak Bluffs is a bustling town that offers excellent restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlors and boutiques. Quick and easy check in. Perfect location, beautiful views of the Oaks Bluff harbor from our 3rd floor room balcony. We took advantage of the comfortable porches to people watch and view the breathtaking sunsets. Quiet despite being right on the street. Our room was very nicely decorated, spacious, extremely comfy beds, great shower and amazing A/C! Overall very cozy and quaint! Our host Billy is friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning here in the future! Highly Recommended!
