I ordered a duck online in November of last year, and I made a mistake when entering my address. I made a full payment for the duck + shipping and it had to turn right back around and be returned to the store in MA. I asked for a refund or for help getting the duck delivered back to me, since I'd already paid in full and received no product, and I was not offered help and I have received no refund to this day. Plus this store sells multiple Trump-themed ducks. Will not buy anything from here ever again. read more

Damn a store chock full of ducks! They have it all, a candy wall and toys, super fun. On our visit to Chatham we saw the ducks in the Windows and had to find parking, luckily there's a huge lot right behind the store. As you walk around the ally corner you can't help but feel a tingle of childish excitement staring at all those massive ducks which are staring right back at you! The proprietor (new as of this past holiday season) is warm and welcoming and will cheerily see to your every duck related need! While we waited for our embroidered duck we had a nosh on some of our favorite classic candies! Can't wait to come back to Chatham so we can pick up a partner duck! read more

It's a cute, colorful store filled with tons and tons of ducks! The ducks are pretty cool and make great bathroom decor. I was walking through a store in Chatham with my friend when I commented to her, "I have to remember to find a rubber duck somewhere in Cape Cod for my duck collection." --You see, I had two rubber ducks on the dashboard of my car, one a friend won me from a crane machine, and one from a resort in Hilton ahead. They were both a year old and beginning to look so lonely. Two ducks aren't a very impressive collection. -- Upon me saying this, the woman behind the counter spoke up. "Did you say you want a rubber duck?" Then a beautiful and magical thing happened. My niece and nephew got a cupcake duck and a baseball player duck, respectively. And my dashboard got a unicorn duck. They're a little overpriced if you're used to winning them from a crane machine, given them by a resort staff member, or buying them in bulk from China. OH MY DUCK! Cutest little store in Chatham. Vacationed over at the Cape this past memorial day weekend. My boyfriend and I saw the front window (actual rubber ducks in the window-hence the name) and we just had to go in. We ended up being in there for like half an hour for 2 reasons. 1. We got a custom rubber duck with a scarf and hat for my boyfriend's new born cousin (ps the duck was as big as her) and 2. we had the nicest talk with the owner and her sister. They told us the history of the store and how the concept came about. If you run into the owner ask her about it. Anyways we had so much fun just looking through all the different ducks they had. Got some cute polaroids in there too and gave one to the owner because she was so excited about it. I love it when owners are that dedicated to their business. We have stopped by to shop many times over our years coming to Chatham for vacation and noticed a change over the last few. New ownership and new strategy over the last 4 years! Just love this little niche store. This year we were shopping for gifts when all of a sudden everyone's phones went off with "Tornado warning seek shelter immediately" - the owner took us under her "wing" and took us all away from the windows while Tornado 2019 touched down in the area reeking havoc on downtown Chatham. With her warmth and friendliness she kept us all calm, we did a group Introduce and personal story while we waited for the storm to pass. One of my custom orders could not be completed as power was out and they were so sweet about making sure I could get it ASAP. She didn't have to be gracious but that is obviously who she is and how she wants to conduct her business - she was facing a few unknowns herself at that moment- she was more concerned about my satisfaction than she was about her next sale and when her business would be back to normal. She deserves a shout out and your patronage. read more

A perfect toy & candy store on Main Street in historic Chatham. Our kids were crushed when we couldn't find them at their prior location, but they're across from the park with the bandstand. This store is a real treasure - I never would have thought that I needed a rubber ducky store in my life but I did! My friends and I had such a fun time looking around in the store. When I first visited this store I was prepared to give it 5 stars. Cute merchandise, ducks with every kind of theme/costume you could imagine, and a pretty decent candy selection. I told my mother about the store and she went and bought a selection of ducks, small, medium and large, for my baby shower. A few weeks later we realized we didn't need quite as many ducks as she had purchased, and decided to return some of them. She specifically asked when the bought them if they were returnable and was told they were. I went to the store trying to return some of the ducks, and the owner at first said "we don't take returns". I said, "Excuse me, but when we purchased them we asked if they were returnable and were told they were". She looked in the bag and saw, under the two large ducks, some smaller ones. "You're returning ALL of these? We're a small business, we can't take all of this". I said, "I'm sorry, but why would you tell us we could return the merchandise if that's not the case?" She then asked how long ago we made the purchase, and at this point it had been just over 3 weeks. I said almost a month. "A MONTH???" she asked loudly. Then she threw the ducks back into the bag and said "No, I'm not taking these back. Its been too long, I'm not taking them back". No apology, no contriteness, and the rudest tone and facial expression ever. I am always trying to support mom and pop stores over the big corporate guys, but when they choose to treat customers like crap simply because they can, it makes you wonder if you're better off with corporate standards for customer service. I refuse to ever give this woman a cent of my money ever again. She could have been a lot nicer about it, and I was even willing to only return some of what I was attempting to, but she still refused. These ducks can be purchased online or at Target for about a third of the price, and as for the candy, there are several WAY better candy stores less than a block away. read more
