Likely due to too much rolling around and laying down after a mostly liquid breakfast. Regardless, its a sick day for my son and for me I needed urgent car cleaning. The fine folks at Chevron Ducky's Car Wash referred me to Auto Pride in Blackhawk. They offered a full service detailing on the interior with carseat. About 2 hrs job and $375. Basically, every nook and cranny of the car's interior including mats were cleaned spotless. Same with the carseat, though that will take some time to fully dry. Very happy with the results, and Auto Pride also helped clean some bird-poop off the outside of the cat, despite me only paying for interior cleaning. They also have a very nice lobby with books, children's toy, snacks, funny gifts and card, car accessories, and clean restrooms. Coffee from Philz is free, but they don't seem to refill batches too often. Fast and free wifi, so feel free to work remotely here while they service your car.

Before paying, I specifically confirmed with the man at the entrance that they would clean the crumbs out of my center console. Less than five minutes later, they told me my car was finished. When I went to get in, the crumbs in the center console were still there, and my driver-side door was covered in smudges and water marks. I asked the employee to fix it--not once, but twice--and he was incredibly rude and dismissive. His behavior was so inappropriate that even my teenage son was taken aback by the way he spoke to me. I finally left, completely unsatisfied. When I got home and parked, I realized it was even worse: there were still crumbs all over the backseat, and they had left a dirty paper towel inside the passenger-side door compartment. For $45, I expected my car to at least be clean--and I certainly didn't expect to be treated rudely when I politely asked them to correct obvious issues. Don't waste your time or your money. I will not be returning.

Then after I explained I was a member, he walked off, only to return a minute later to say I couldn't wash my car since it was too dirty. Accusing me of going to burning man when I had simply left the pavement and got some minor dirt on the vehicle. He said I'd have to hose it down elsewhere until I mentioned I'd cancel my membership. Then they were magically able to hose it down before, even though the other staff were confused when I mentioned what I was told. I mentioned I'd never heard of a car wash refusing to wash a vehicle because there was dirt on it. He said it could damage the machinery. It was like a dusting of dirt, so clearly BS. They scanned my 2010 Prius car at no charge and identified the issues. There would only be a fee if further diagnosis or repairs were needed. When we entered the second time, the guy even came out to check that we used the carwash properly, without even realizing that the car in front of us that passed near him was going out with soap foam everywhere. Not going here ever again, their gas prices are high and now we know that the carwash and customer service are terrible. I heard bad things about the service at this place but I kept going. Not anymore. A note to the owners: having people working there who cannot communicate well or understand well what the customers are saying is highly dangerous, considering this is a gas station. I wouldn't want to find myself in an urgent situation here, or a situation where I need help. He arrived on time and worked tirelessly for 4 hours cleaning every nook and cranny of our car on the interior and exterior. He did such an amazing job that our car looked even better than it did when we brought it home from the used car dealership. It was shining from top to bottom!
