What you can see and take a picture in front of.

Okay, let me first say, this is a review of the facility, not of Dude Perfect. We LOVE Dude Perfect and what they stand for, all the content they put out and events they do. The facility is NOT open to the public. You can drive up and see it and take a picture in front of it, but that's all. The guys might be there working or maybe editors editing, but you can't go in and see anything. My kids definitely love Dude Perfect and this building was on our way home, so we went and took pictures in front of it, just to say we've seen it. It was fun, but definitely not something to drive a long way to see or anything. Hope this helps!

I mean, it's a building! But it made my kid's day! We love Dude Perfect! Love their clean content for kids!

Don't let the new equipment and shiny infrastructure fool you--the experience inside is a total disaster. * Rude Staff: From the moment you walk in, you're treated like an inconvenience. The front desk staff are consistently dismissive and act as if answering a simple question is a personal insult. * Dishonest & Collusive Management The leadership here is fundamentally unprofessional across all levels. It's not just one "bad apple"--there is a deep-seated culture of collusion where managers consistently cover for each other's mistakes. Instead of taking accountability, they resort to gaslighting and rewriting facts to dodge responsibility. It is impossible to have a transparent conversation or resolve a genuine concern when the entire management team prioritizes fabricated excuses** over basic integrity. They would rather protect their own images than fix a problem for a customer. * Zero Customer Service: There is a fundamental lack of basic service here. If you have an issue, don't expect a resolution; expect an argument. It's a shame to see such a high-end facility wasted by a team that clearly doesn't want to be there. Save your money and your sanity--go somewhere where they actually value their members.

However, after experiencing the new expanse that is Stephen G Terrell Rec center, I am inclined to move my membership here soon. A few of the reasons: Huge open spacious vibe that has a psychologically positive impact. Much larger and more modern 3 lane running/walking tract that threads thru a large part of the facility. Extensive resistance weight areas including,2 free weight areas and one machine area...all state of the art. Treadmill, elliptical, rowing, and stepping machines, in copious amounts. Outside terrace exercise area with sleds, ropes, bags etc In addition a 2 story play area for children, meeting rooms, classrooms etc. This is a archetectually well designed and implemented modern community " rec center". Oh,did I mention the 7 basketball courts?...... Go!

Andy Brown is a beautiful space, from the pond to the open fields, the sidewalk/bike path, multiple large pavilions, and fun playground. There are large, mature trees surrounding the park. We parked in the wrong lot and had to walk alongside the gym in order to get to the playground and I couldn't believe how beautiful the pathways were with all the trees and the small creek running alongside. Not what I expected from a city park! The playground itself ("Kid Country") is almost fully enclosed and is a sprawling assortment of things to climb up, swing on, and slide down. There is a play area in the toddler section with storefronts to spark pretend play. The ground is bark. There are large trees in the center of the play area that provide shade and make the play structure look more natural than your typical playground. Almost like a tree house. There are benches scattered throughout the play area and a large covered pavilion with multiple picnic tables underneath. The city of Coppell provides free WiFi there and there were multiple moms with laptops out, working, while their kids played. The only big negative is the distance from the playground to the bathroom. I understand that they probably built the bathrooms more toward the center of the park, but the wise choice would have been to also put an additional small restroom right next to the playground. It's too far of a walk for me to feel comfortable sending my younger kids over there alone and it's kind of a bummer to have to wrangle together the entire group every time one kid has to pee. Otherwise, a fabulous park. LOVE IT. Hats off to you, Coppell!

See photos. Another rec center is closer to home and will go there to save drive time. But nice to have an option for a newer location. Meaning, they are pretty indifferent when greeting or answering questions about the facility. They don't really say hello until we do. I can tell they are just there to have a job, so it doesn't detour me, but geez. I can't imagine being the face of the facility, and having such a poor attitude. They are not mean or disrespectful, but it's like they just tolerate the paying guests that come in. Kind of like that new emotion on the Inside Out 2 movie. There is one guy that is friendly-I think he has reddish hair and glasses. There is another guy upstairs and the first time we went, he just stared my son down in the youth area for like the first 20 minutes we were there. My son is within the age range, but I guess the staff member wanted to make sure he didn't do anything wrong. I interacted with him a bit, and it seemed to break down a little bit of his mean-mugging vibe. He might try saying hello to people, because most people won't want to break any rules if it means disappointing a friendly guy that is in charge. The facility is cool. I suggest they get built in locks on the available lockers like they have at Carpenter Rec. I also recommend that management have a team building exercise or rotate the front people with other staff to give them a break. If you can get past the blah energy upon arriving, it's a really great facility.

If you're looking for the gold standard of playgrounds in Frisco (or honestly, anywhere nearby),…read moreHope Park is it. This is hands-down one of the most thoughtfully designed, beautifully maintained, and inclusive parks I've ever visited. The playground is massive, separated into different sections by age group, which is a lifesaver if you have both toddlers and older kids. Everything is built with accessibility in mind ramps, wide pathways, sensory features, musical instruments, and even mini pretend storefronts that spark imaginative play. The rubberized ground covering is such a bonus for safety too soft, clean, and comfortable for little ones learning to navigate the world. There's also a splash pad right next door, which is an absolute magnet on hot Texas afternoons. Shaded picnic tables and benches are scattered throughout the park, making it easy for parents and caregivers to relax without feeling like you have to hover the entire time. What makes Hope Park extra special is the heart behind it. It was created by the Frisco community with the dream of building a place where all children no matter their ability level could play side by side. You can feel that spirit when you're here. It's not just a playground; it's a celebration of inclusion, joy, and togetherness. Pro tip: It can get very busy on weekends, so early mornings or weekday evenings are perfect if you want more space to roam. Parking is plentiful, and restrooms are nearby. Five huge stars!

I would say, however, that this place is worth the price in any case as a at least one time experience because it's a great mix of challenges and a lot more fun than expected. The guides were helpful, and everything felt extremely safe. I've done high speed (like 40+ mph) ziplines in Europe, and honestly this was just as if not more fun. Part of that is because the speed is more tame you can actually be more present to witness the nature!! I enjoyed the obstacles and general navigating around a lot more than expected as well. There are a few variations to make these courses more or less challenges depending on your physical fitness level. I really underestimated how much I would love going here. Staff are inconsistent and so is the upkeep. For example on today's visit one of the ropes was broken but I was allowed to use the obstacle anyway. That seemed very unsafe to me. The locks are malfunctioning etc. But overall we enjoy coming out and will continue to do so.
