Fun way to spend her Birthday!
    Stephanie B.

cannot say enough good things about this place! What a great way for our blended family of 5 of all ages (52, 42, 20, 18, 10) to enjoy the beauty of nature, and make memories together! this was our 5th trip to this location, but our younger daughter's first time. She loved it so much, and we went as part of a birthday celebration.

We had a blast at Go Ape with the family. Check in was fast and easy. We did not go in with high expectations but left impressed. We have done a lot of zip lining and having some independence on the course was stimulating. I could see how to a first timer it may make one nervous. Don't let the scare you but embrace it. The safety briefing was all you needed to navigate the course. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We did bring our own gloves and were a little skeptic. Glad it was recommended and required. They were very useful. I did drop my phone from on high but I was able to flag down a staff member to retrieve it. That was super nice and helpful. I forgot his name but he had an Army hat on and was our guide through the safety briefing. Last suggestion was go early if it is summer time. Heat and humidity is tough. Glad they had water provided and available.

Came here with a Military group to have a good time. This is a self escorted zip line obstacle course. I believe the weight limit is around 240lbs, and there is a lot of balance, swaying obstacles in the air to get to and from. We came after a good rain and the sun was out, it felt like Florida. Wear sunscreen and bug repellent. Our feet was getting stuck in the mud. The workers, were amazing and kind, and all our people had a great time!

Oh yeah! Unexpectedly,in the middle of civilization, no passport or plane tickets are required! With spring comes a mass of people trying to get outside and make up for lost "pandemic" time. The DFW area now has 5-6 million people and that's a lot of humanity looking for something to do. Go Ape, provides Zip lines over beautiful creeks, obstacle courses of ropes, rings and poles in the sky, and Fun,Fun, Fun. Not for that faint of heart, this activity will challenge you. You do have a choice of how intense you want to get so from 10-100 there is probably something for everyone. Definite Go!!!

Omg love this place! Visited a week ago at the location in Arlington I believe. My 8 year old, his father and I had so much fun on the tree course and zip line. Felt secure and went thru a short pre course to ensure we understood what we were doing. They had a supply of water to have during. Dress cozy and have fun!

The sites were clean and the instructors very helpful ! I'd give it 5 stars but the Tarzan finish wasn't available the weekend I went! Next time for sure!

We had a blast! First time zip lining and Cory was an awesome instructor! He explained everything so easily and was a lot of fun. Definitely will come back.

Beef Tamale, Mac and queso, chili and bacon

My goodness, that tamale bowl is delicious! They had a special where they combined Mac, queso, chili, bacon, and beef tamales on top. They need this on their menu as a standard. My goodness. I'm coming back for sure!

She answered all my questions and made the booking process seem less. Minus 1 star for our ticket mix up. We booked the all access package and by the time it was sorted out the All Access attraction (Tree Top) had a long line and wait. Also minus 1 star for the staff help, there was one lady at the front with red hair who seemed to have an attitude every time I came to ask a question. With 90 students and over 20 adults quite a bit of questions arose and some things were unclear. It would be helpful to assign a staff member to each field trip group to limit having to speak to multiple staff. Lastly, be mindful of the tunnels. They are fun however, we had middle school students present during our visit and they were making out in the tunnels. Better lighting could help fix this with a reminder to chaperones and parents to keep an eye on their children. The weather outside is a gorgeous, sunny, breezy 65 degrees. You don't mind spending $13 per person to balance on tightropes 5 stories up in the air. Now is the perfect time to conquer Howler's Peak. Our group of 3 went out around 2pm on a fall weekday when most kids are in school, so we had no wait at all. The staff quickly helped us get harnessed up, then we were attached to the safety track snaking throughout the course and set free to roam at will. From the ground, it doesn't seem too tough. You can see that many of the paths look like sturdy wooden-looking ladders on their sides, with plenty of stable foot landings and hand-holds for your crossing. However, once you climb up the stairs to each level, you realize that many paths you must cross are only rope, or with large breaks between tiny foot holds, and few or no handholds. The wind feels stronger up there, balancing takes more effort, and everything seems to sway a bit. Even though you know that there is no way the safety harness can let you fall, it is quite a feat to overcome your brain's message to your body, "Hey, dummy, you're about to plummet to your death!" After going around the 2nd and 3rd stories, including 2 thrilling zip line paths, my 8 year old had had enough. He was ready to get his feet back down on the ground, but I knew it was my duty to continue on. I had to show him (and myself) that even though I was nervous, I was not going to quit until I reached the top. From 30 feet to 40 feet to 50 feet I climbed, as a crisscrossed my way around the course. My goal was the top southwest corner of the structure, where I'd jump down to the ground. I've never been interested in bungee jumping elsewhere, as I question the safety & maintenance of the equipment & training of the staff at most of those tourist trap, beach town places. However, the staff & equipment at this attraction made me feel that risk was minimal. Once I made it to the prep station, my harness was transferred to the pulley system and throrough safety check was done. At that point, I just had to make my legs walk off the end of the platform. Wheeeeeeeeee! I'm probably not going to start base jumping any time soon, but man, that was fun. I'll definitely be coming back to do this again the next time I'm visiting Great Wolf. By the way, even if you aren't a guest of the hotel, you can experience Howler's Peak for $25. Closed-toe shoes are required, and I recommend that long hair be secured and sunglasses worn if it's daytime. For little kids under 48 inches, there is a smaller version of the course on the ground, with a smaller fee and no harness required.
