Angela went over the cut sheet with me and we set a date for delivery. Her prices were cheaper than other local farms for grass fed beef. And if we had more space, we'd have ordered pork too! We also grabbed some bacon--sealed and fresh, though it was sliced much thinner than expected when we opened it. They also carry locally made jams, spices, and other pantry items. The staff was super friendly and even offered us a steak sample, which was a nice and tasty. They also offer takeout, and the food looked pretty tempting. Prices are on the higher side, likely due to the quality and sourcing of their products. While that might be a deterrent for some, we felt it was worth supporting a local small business doing things thoughtfully. Overall, a great addition to the local food scene. I'll definitely be back. On this day, I found them to be less expensive than TOPS for the same cuts of meat. They stock their sausages and meat sticks in their meat store as well as all the ingredients to make your own sausages at home. They're well known for their butchering service as well as custom bulk orders. I found the facilities to be extremely well stocked with tasty and nutritious foods. On the day that we visited, Falconer Meats was hosting an event called "MEAT US IN THE COUNTRY". Vendors were selling handcrafted items and farm stand produce. There was a BBQ food truck as well as an ice cream food truck. A winery was offering samples! It was an absolute delight to meet the nice folks from llama Adventures at Buffalo Creek, displaying their animals, as well as some of their handcrafted llama fur items.
