Got a quote today for resurfacing rotors and new brake pads, person who answered the phone said it would be about $600 for the job because you "never know when the price will go up for parts". I'm hoping that he meant that would be the price for new rotors and new brake pads but either way that is way too much compared to what other shops in town are offering. Discount Tire in Visalia will do new brake pads and resurfaced rotors on my Toyota Rav4 for $200 and to do new rotors and new brake pads would be about $400. So you will be either paying $200 to $400 more if you go to Dudley's. Something doesn't seem right about that price discrepancy. read more

I had some questions concerning my brakes and seeing positive reviews, I contacted Brian and he was able to check the vehicle the next day. After an inspection, only a brake fluid replacement was needed which was performed in short order. Brian also checked fluid levels and tire pressure. First time posting a review, ever! I had a great experience with Brian and Karen, from beginning to end. I had a problem that has been going on for 10 years with my brakes. I have had break work in the past at other shops, but the problem continued. Communication was excellent. Not only did Brian visually inspect my vehicle, but asked me a lot of questions in order to aid in the diagnosis. Brian did a great job on my car! My husband brought my car to Lee Dudley's based on the Yelp reviews. We had some brake issues going down the Grapevine. Brian took the time to do the job right & even fixed a couple of small things just because he noticed they needed to be done and he has the skills. He really went above and beyond. My car came back clean & with buffed headlights. I bought the car used a few months ago and it has been to a few mechanics and a couple of oil change places to get things checked and fixed. Brian is the only one who was thoughtful enough to fix extra issues. A lot of the stuff he took care of for free in minutes is going to save me hours of work. EXCELLENT SERVICE! I have a 2011 Chevy Cruz and noticed my brakes making noise. I took it a couple of places, where they tried to sell me parts I didn't need for hundreds of dollars. Needless to say I was overwhelmed & upset, I don't know anything about cars or what was really wrong with mine. I found Lee Dudleys Brake and Front End by searching local brake services in Visalia. The reason I chose to go here was because of all the good reviews. He pulled everything apart, showed me what was wrong, why, and explained everything. Come to find out the reason for my front brake issues was due to my rear brakes not even working! Which the first 2 brake places never even found or mentioned. Brian's wife, Karen, was just as nice and even gave me a ride back to my house while my car was being worked on. When my car was finished, Karen drove my car to my house to pick me up. To my surprise Brian detailed my car including the rims, tires, and engine! He also cleaned my radiator because he noticed it was dirty, and replaced my air filter for my A/C because he noticed my air wasn't blowing well. All which he did with no charge. Not becasue he had to, but because he noticed little issues no one else had, and took the time to fix them. He informed me information that I was not aware of regarding my truck and its configuration with the lift and oversized tires nor would I have ever thought of but made clear sense after being explained. I was contacted very shortly after after he was able to pull the wheels off to inspect and identify the problem and I gave the okay for the work. Very honest feedback on the problems - pads and brake fluid flush. Pointed out some other issues but didn't pressure or try and up sell. He actually left our car without the power locks functioning and when we called to tell him he said "So you have a new problem you need me to look at", when he clearly knew it was his fault. So we recently bought a van to fit our growing family. Van was great for the first week or two. Then suddenly my abs light comes out indicating me that I have to service the abs system. I called a few places got quotes but nothing that made my wallet happy but honestly what would. Anyways so called him and he was very aware of my situation explained everything exactly my car was doing. I decided to go with him for his customer service on the phone and very knowledgeable of my problem. He showed me my van have had work done on the same problem but wasn't a good part and wasn't done right. After all of that my rotors and brakes were as thin as my wallet from everyone else's quotes. Great owner/operator business. Do not hesitate to call now! :) As someone who's moved around a lot, I rely on Yelp for almost everything. After all the great reviews, I decided to make an appointment for my squeaky brakes. Last year I took my 2012 Ford to the dealership and they told me that "the pads are good, so the squeaking may be something you need to live with". I lived with it for a year before I just couldn't accept that anymore. I took the car in to Brian and he inspected it right in front of me while I sat in the waiting area. He showed me exactly what was happening and that my front brakes were compensation for problemed rear brakes that were out of adjustment. He did replacements and adjustments. I also had some other maintenance issues and a sensor that was dirty. Brian took out the sensor and showed it to me, cleaned it and then showed me the difference. He is very detailed and will show you anything and even give you an education on your vehicle, which is much appreciated so that you can make informed decisions. Karen, his wife and business partner gave me a ride to work. I was called in a few hours after the work was done. When I picked up the car, it had been cleaned and the ENGINE was cleaned. When I got to the shop Kevin showed me a leak in the water pump and is helping me to monitor the leak so we can confirm the extent of it.
