Last summer we had a gas line leak outside the house. I called to report smelling gas and they responded immediately sending a tech out within the hour to assess. They aren't the cheapest, but their prices are reasonable and fair.

He only replies to emails if you threaten to withold payment and have someone else finish the job. He installs improper electrical components and oh, by the way, has multiple violations registered against him on the WA state labor and industries webpage. A week after he finally finished the job I got a letter from Pacific county stating the job was not permitted. You'll never believe it but he won't return my calls or emails so I filled out the permit application myself and sent in the check. Shame on me for choosing Stowe Mechanical to do the work. I hired them to put new coolant lines in the freezer boxes on my charter boat- the boxes were working great, but I wanted better flex lines. They no showed 8 or 9 times and when they finally showed up, they did not seem to know what they are doing. Fast forward to July of 2018 and my coolant lines are leaking. The only way to get Stowe show up is to physically go to their office and force the front desk people to get Brandon on the phone. Even then, Brandon Stowe always has an excuse as to why he can't do the work. Even when he 100% guarantees he will be there the next day, he does not show up. I am probably going to end up suing him to get my $$ back, but from what I hear on the street, it may be too late, as I will be waiting in line behind a lot of people. Our initial interview went well. Local utility personnel are familiar with Stan and his work and gave a "thumbs up". We contracted in two phases, the first to "reduce our load" by replacing an aged heat pump and adding a minisplit so that my wife could have separate control in the bedroom. Then we replaced two electric water heaters with one hybrid on his recommendation. Our electric bills plummeted. This was all done quickly and professionally as determined by availability of parts. Prices were reasonable and as problems were encountered he showed a willingness to share some costs. ... While the first phase was going on, Stan worked with me to design our solar power system. We settled on a ground-mounted array of 30 panels on net with distributed inverters. This is not the type of system they usually do but Stan showed great flexibility and willingness to work with me. Once we had a design, I sent it to a group of solar folks who did a previous system for us in another area. They reviewed the specs and replied "Looks good!" ... It took a long time to get the system up and operational, mostly because of permitting and inspection issues associated with our ground-mounted option. (If we had gone to a roof mounted system, permitting would have been faster but there would have been other types of problems.) Now, it's up and going, the meter is "spinning backwards" and I'm a satisfied customer. ... Stan can be a bit quirky, but so am I. I found that he answers texts more regularly than phone calls. His guys are courteous and friendly and Jacks of all trades. They leave the jobsite in decent order. ... It was a big, complex, expensive project (even with the considerable price reduction we were given) but in the end, I'm glad to have had it done by Precision Heating & Solar.

I called Renaud and they picked up on the first ring. A service tech (Gary) showed up at our house in Kalama within 45 minutes. He diagnosed the problem within a few minutes: a blown 3 amp fuse in the furnace blower section (in the garage) caused by a frayed wire in the bottom of the condenser unit (outside the house). He took the lid off of the condenser unit, climbed inside, repaired the damaged wire; all while it was raining. He replaced the fuse, and we were back online in less than 30 minutes. The service call and work was less than $300 and we were very pleased with Gary's professionalism and expertise. The price was affordable and we're grateful to Renaud.

First, let me say that we overall are very impressed with Renaud heating and cooling.However, we…read morehad a service called done last year, and after the service call, I noticed that our hvac unit, which is mitsubishi split unit was leaking during the summer, so I shut it off, and we didn't use it all summer. This summer I turned it back on again, it ran for a couple days and started leaking again and I thought, huh, this is weird. So instead of calling for a service fee, it is the weekend I went online, went to YouTube,and saw how to take the thing apart. I noticed that the drain tube for the condenser was not hooked up to the drain PAN. So every time it was working, the water wasn't going anywhere, except for down the front of our wall. Anyway, long story short, I'm sure it was just to skip over, but if your unit is dripping, take it apart and make sure that the back of the drip PAN is hooked into the condenser water line probably using wrong terminology.
