If I could give this business zero stars, I would. They were the rudest people I've ever dealt with. When our heat went out suddenly, we called them for service. After scheduling an appointment 48 hours later (did I mention we had NO HEAT?) they never showed up. When we called to find out where the repairman was, the woman who answered the phone told me they were busy and wouldn't be coming. When I said that was unacceptable, she called me a b$%ch and told me to go elsewhere. I've never seen anything like it. I filed a complain with the BBB and the business never responded. Looking at the other Yelp reviews on this business, I was a bit concerned about having "Precision" do a major Solar Installation and furnace upgrade for us but they are the only Solar option in our area. Our initial interview went well. Local utility personnel are familiar with Stan and his work and gave a "thumbs up". We contracted in two phases, the first to "reduce our load" by replacing an aged heat pump and adding a minisplit so that my wife could have separate control in the bedroom. Then we replaced two electric water heaters with one hybrid on his recommendation. Our electric bills plummeted. This was all done quickly and professionally as determined by availability of parts. Prices were reasonable and as problems were encountered he showed a willingness to share some costs. ... While the first phase was going on, Stan worked with me to design our solar power system. We settled on a ground-mounted array of 30 panels on net with distributed inverters. This is not the type of system they usually do but Stan showed great flexibility and willingness to work with me. Once we had a design, I sent it to a group of solar folks who did a previous system for us in another area. They reviewed the specs and replied "Looks good!" ... It took a long time to get the system up and operational, mostly because of permitting and inspection issues associated with our ground-mounted option. (If we had gone to a roof mounted system, permitting would have been faster but there would have been other types of problems.) Now, it's up and going, the meter is "spinning backwards" and I'm a satisfied customer. ... Stan can be a bit quirky, but so am I. I found that he answers texts more regularly than phone calls. His guys are courteous and friendly and Jacks of all trades. They leave the jobsite in decent order. ... It was a big, complex, expensive project (even with the considerable price reduction we were given) but in the end, I'm glad to have had it done by Precision Heating & Solar. read more

Where do I start. First call for an appointment and a no show. Second call and a ridiculous bill for one filter. One furnace filter was over 400. dollars. Yes, it was laced with gold. I put a call in about the price and no response. Also it appears their refrigerant is also laced with gold as it cost 182- for an addition of refrigerant. I have no more words for this overcharging other than I will be contacting the BBB. read more

So unprofessional! We just received our bill for...I m actually not sure what it's for. He showed up to diagnose our furnace. We where told that would be 100$ then parts and labor after that. He showed up 2 hours late the first time came back late again (second time) with the parts he said would fix our problem, parts where wrong and didn't fit! Said he would order the mother board that would fix it said gave us a price it was three times we found the mother board online! We canceled the part from him bought online ourselves! We received our bill for 3.5 hours of labor and a fee for returning parts! Wait the parts he ordered wrong??? Call to discuss bill, got hung up on but only after he told us "that's what people say when they dont have money to pay their bills" 3.5 hours of labor is just untrue!! Do NOT use the company! My furnace shut down. Precision had a man stop by my house that afternoon. The problem was quickly diagnosed, Sean fortunately had a replacement blower motor in his van and had my heating system back on line in less than two hours. I would happily give this experience five stars except for the price charged for the motor, which represented a 450% markup over the off the shelf price $380 vs $80). I consider this excessive and now feel as if I was ripped off. The service experience, however, was worthy of five stars. read more

Stan Hussing is a con man. I previously wrote a sterling review. This is a complete retraction. He did not deliver the product that I paid for. He was VERY sketchy as to the itemization of his contract. I was hosed. Go to Wadsworth Electrical before you have ANY inclination of dealing with Precision. He sold me a bill of goods. $25K for a heating, cooling unit, pump and water heater and 12 solar panels. Trust me, I have never had a "zero" bill, even in the best of sunshine months. He also paneled the water heater and air system with screws that only work in it one time. I take the panel off, and I have to make another hole. So much for being able to change the filters on a regular basis. Now I have to install doors to access the water heater and air systems. I had an appt for repair today between 2-4. No one showed so I called at 4:40 to find out where they were and was informed by some lady who spoke broken English that they very sorry not going to make it. They swamped. I told her when I made the appointment that I would be driving from central Oregon to meet the repair guy. So a 5 hour drive for nothing. Don't use these people. They are hacks. I was overly disappointed with my service from Precision heating & Indoor Air Quality. Their response time was 3 days before a technician could come service my AC unit. The tech who came out tended to do more complaining than most I've had. Because the furnace is in the finished basement and my college-age daughter lives down there, I always accompany technicians down there to limit their curiosity. Well this guy claimed he had to go back down a second time to check something else. That time i didn't accompany him because I figured he knew where to go, and besides, I had closed off all the other doors except the one leading to the furnace (through my daughters bedroom). When he came back up, he commented on the carboys I had fermenting down there. I didn't think much about that, but after he left, I decided to go back down to check on stuff, and I found every door open (even the closets). It felt creepy. Then to top it off, he charged me $64/per pound for 410a refrigerant. At todays prices, that can be bought for about $5/per pound. When I called the company to tell them he overcharged me, they told me that was their price. That service didn't fix the problem, and 5 weeks later, the system was losing refrigerant again. This time I called a different company. They showed up the next day, found the leak - outside on the valve cores....in plain site!!!. They charged me $15/per pound for the same refrigerant. The system has been working great. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Their not out to service the customer, but rather take all they can from them.
