I've ordered pizza from these guys probably 10 times. Delivery each time. Never once have they delivered the pizza in less than 1-1/2 hrs. Some times up to 2hrs. Everytime same story. This had to be the worst pizza I have ever had. It taste burned . The dough was crunchy and bitter. The chicken wings were dry. delivery was ok about a hr. *** To the owner of Dukes** This review hurts to even type out because my husband and I love coming here to eat. Whomever is here working on October 24th 2021, the employees that are younger are going to drive away your customers. When we pulled up, the younger boys were outside throwing things at the building and then we're embarrassed that someone pulled up at that exact time. The restaurant was smoking a bit and instead of trying to figure out the source, all you heard was them laughing and asking "why is it so smoky in here". Childish and unprofessional employees to say the least. They don't hear you and when you try to correct them they give attitude which also is not appreciated. So I hope next time we come back, they either will not be here or are straightened up and watch what and how they say things when customers are dining in as well as paying attention to things that should be emptied and or wiped off/cleaned when each customer leaves. Went today and ordered a Bacon & Ranch Salad, I had my niece go get it, she comes back with a container of lettuce, 5 pieces of chicken & about 40 croutons. Used to be our favorite pizza place, not anymore. Bread sticks are insanely salty. Pizza sauce was salty. Pizza was sloppy, one of our pizzas had crust literally chopped off. BLT pizza was decent but not as good as it was a long time ago. Don't think we will order again :( read more

I ordered on Christmas thinking they were open, and it took my order, and I was sent an e-mail confirmation saying I will get my pizza in about 60 minutes. Waited for 3 hours then realized they must not be opened. But it took the money out of my account. Why would it take the money out of my account if they are closed, and why did it take my order when it would seem like the system would be shut down, so it could take no online orders, but reject the card. And did nobody see it the next day, and see that it took the order, and cancel it. For when they are open, and you use a card, you have to sign the receipt, which it would seem like the money would not come out of the account until the receipt is signed, as I have witnessed at other places. But Duke's takes out the money before the receipt is signed, so if they do not get your pizza to you, you are out of the money with no food. Now I am out 25.83, but did not get any pizza, which they can have the money for I am not even going to go through the trouble, and they will probably weasel out of it anyway by saying we did not get an order on Christmas, or we cannot find it. read more

Ordered my pizza at 5:00pm online. Called at 6:20pm they said they never received it even though I had already gotten an email confirmation. They said they would place another order, said it would be here in 45 mins or less. I called again after an hour and they said it was on its way. It arrives an hour and 20 mins later. The delivery driver had no idea what was going on and tried to charge me again until I showed the email. So I bring the pizza in, it's luke warm and the icing on the cake is that they bring me salsa with my breadsticks. Not happy and hoping they don't charge my card for this disaster! read more

The pizza here is pretty great, but the service is spotty at best. There's a girl that works the front register that is very rude. I never know if we're going to get our pizza on time or not. We have truly loved Dukes of Fowlerville until after the 5th time of receiving cold pizza after waiting from anywhere from 1 hour 20 minutes to 2 hours. Ordered a cheeseburger pizza with extra pickle. Waited over an hour to get the order. Like warm pizza arrived open it up.. It's basically a Second salad pizza with pickles. Not what I ordered. Called and worker said "oh I made it a deluxe try I and basically you got a better deal with my mistake". Not so much I didn't want the lettuce tomato onion etc on my cheeseburger pizza. So, I had to ask three times for a new one. Finally he offered to send another one out ... After another hour and 20 minutes the pizza arrived. Luke warm but by that time everyone else was already done eating. We have had enough of this. We will look elsewhere for delivery this is not working for me. read more

Their food is delicious, but getting what you ordered is challenging. We ordered grinders tonight and the delivery person forgot the sauce we ordered. If course that cost extra so we're out the money too. I wish this was rare, but this kind of thing happens a solid 80% of the time. When we moved to Fowlerville we were excited to find a great independent pizza shop. Dukes has plenty of custom specialty pizzas and flavored crusts. Unfortunately the service is impossible. Every time we've ordered they've either lost our order, forgot to make it until I showed up, or gave us something wrong. There are usually 2-3 other people waiting on 'lost orders' as well when I show up. And they've recently raised their prices! We really want to like Dukes, but really don't think of them first for pizza anymore. read more

I've given them a try 4 times and I simply can not recommend them. The only reason they get 2 stars instead of 1 is because they have gluten free pizza. The last time that we went there, I called and ordered the pizza when we were about 20 minutes away. They said it would be 25 minutes. We got there 5 minutes before the time they said and my husband went in to get the two pizzas. One of them wasn't ready and the girl told him to take a seat. 30 minutes later the second pizza got done (so the first one was cold). When he went to pay, the girl told him "sorry we're out of change" and didn't give him the 33 cents that she owed him. My husband complained and she just looked at him and said "call the manager tomorrow then". If you don't have change you can't just keep someone's money that you owe them. You need to bite into your own profits. Meanwhile, I'm sitting out in the car 8 months pregnant and with a screaming 2 year old. Good times. We'll never go there again. Now I have to go to Brighton or Okemos for gluten free pizza. It's really too bad because I like their sauce. I'm just tired of the crappy service and excessive wait times. read more

After multiple calls, and multiple excuses as to why the delivery person was late the girl answering the phone was frustrated with me for wanting to cancel and get a refund. Unbelievable! Delicious pizza and friendly employees. My family stopped by for a late dinner and it was rather slow so there wasn't a lot to choose from on the buffet when we walked in the door. However, without having to ask, they cooked up a couple of their specialty pizzas for us to try. The Coney Dog pizza was great - highly recommended don't let the name turn you away. The Feta Fiesta was good but a little rich for my taste. Next visit I have my eye on the Tractor Pull - pulled pork, BBQ and bacon. Can't wait! read more

When this location first opened the pizza was okay for the price. The delivery fee was the lowest in Fowlerville. The delivery price is still good but now, the supreme combo special has gone up $3 over the course of time. That would be fine, but the quality of the pizza has gone down significantly. No pizza I have ever gotten has been fully cooked and the pizzas are so greasy and sloppy. It's borderline disgusting! Also, a month or two ago I was looking at their specials looking to try something new. I noticed 2 "Right to Life" specials ... I was taken aback how a pizza place wanted to voice their opinions on abortion. There are too many things wrong with this establishment to ever try it again. Good food but service makes this place unbearable and tonight was the last straw. Food is always late every time we get it delivered so I decided to pick up instead. Showed up and someone yelled from the back for me to wait a minute, about 10-15 minutes later someone finally came up and asked if I had been helped. Only because some one else walked in they finally came up. Told her my name and she came back and said it will still be about 15 minutes. Keep in mind I ordered this pizza 45 Minuites ago at this point. I asked if they forgot the order and she said no it just needs to be cooked for 15 more minutes! Obviously they forgot! I told them to forget it and went to the pizza place down the street. The other gentleman was told his pizza was going to be about 15 more minutes still to and he decided to wait. I ordered from the other place, got the same thing, picked it up, and on my way back I drove by dukes and the other gentleman was still waiting!
