We were a group of 7 and surprisingly we didn't have to wait to be seated on a Saturday night. They do offer free Garlic Bread sticks for the table which were very good. My wife had the Anna's Greek Chicken Salad which was loaded with flavor . I tried their BBQ Chicken Personal pizza which had a thicker crust . Flavors were good but most of the ingredients were only in the center of the pizza. There is table and booth seating as well as a bar area with counter service. Stopped in for lunch August 26 2026. Ordered their Lasagna for $19.00 for the first time over several entries I've had before.. It was the absolute Worst I've ever had in my 67 yrs.!!. Stoffers frozen or even wal-marts is 50 times better, Even my wifes blows their garbage away by 1000 times!!. I couldn't find any meat/ sausage/ burger to save my life that it says it supposedly has. A good place to bring the family with a large menu and good, fast service. There is a huge amount of seating so we didn't have to wait even with a large party. Highly recommend the lemon wings which were juicy and tender. Also the Anna' Chicken Greek Salad was loaded with goodness. We came in for a late lunch on Sunday, 8/17/25 around 3:00pm after shopping at the nearby outlets. We sat at the bar and were thrilled to have Yuengling on draft! Unheard of in Michigan! The bartenders were great and took really good care of us. It wasn't too busy when we got there, but it filled up! Every seat at the bar was full and it got a little loud, but not so loud we couldn't talk to one another. The breadsticks were HIGHLY recommended, so we had to try them. We couldn't decide on one dipping sauce and ended up with a dip buffet! We had marinara, ranch and cheese spread. We suggested adding it to the menu - so if you see that on the menu in the future. you're welcome. OMG, that cheese spread was to die for. I would eat a flip flop if it had that cheese on it... We had a large Tomato Brother's Special and it WAS special, it was so good. The crust was on the thicker side, which was good for the amount of toppings! We also had the Antipasto Salad - good lord! We have a group of 12 that meet here every month for dinner. Pizza is spot on, Greek salad is fantastic and the bread stick still on the top of the list. The cheese spread was a sort of cream cheese concoction and went nicely with the garlicky sticks. I ordered the chicken greek salad. Found the dressing a little bland, though other salad elements were fine. The menu touts this as the "best greek salad in Michigan" though honestly, if you drive down any mile road in metro Detroit and stop at the first corner diner you see you'll likely get one as good or better. My wife got the cobb salad but thought it wasn't a particularly good version. Her sister ordered one as well but didn't get the bacon the menu said it came with. Others ordered burgers or pizza, and I didn't hear either complaints or raves. Service was good--got our drinks refilled when needed. Wouldn't rule out another visit though I can't say I'll be daydreaming about one. read more

i'm so lucky to have this greatest establishment right in my own backyard. The food is always great. The servers are very attentive and the atmosphere is always just right. My husband and I went on Easter Sunday. Friends had recommended and they were spot on. The breadsticks were hot buttery and out of this world. We both decided to have lasagna and we did not regret our decision. We were on a roadtrip and saw this location that was right off the highway and decided to stop. It was my first time but my husband has been before (and loved it). He thought they gave free breadsticks but there is a charge for them now and you have to order them (though he said he may not have remembered correctly). Regardless, the breadsticks were yummy and they make their ranch there and wowza it was good. What blew me away the most was how incredibly kind and friendly all the workers were. Our waiter (Tyler) went above and beyond. He was friendly, gave good suggestions when asked, and really made the experience awesome. The food itself was overall enjoyable (I got a veggie pizza and my husband got shrimp Alfredo) but the service was definitely the highlight. The Greek dressing on our house salads was tasteless, as if it was plain oil, no seasoning to be seen. Nothing like Gus's dressing! My chicken parm was overcooked, crispy around the edges and dry inside. Hubby's green beans with entree looked good, but again were tasteless. The only thing you could taste was the butter that was on them. Definitely not worth the $50 we paid for dinner. Next time we'll get takeout at Gus's. read more

Tomato Brothers is my family's favorite Italian restaurant to go to! We will literally stop by just for the breadsticks if we know we're passing through Howell haha. As far as the other food goes, there's a little something for everyone and it would be hard to not find at least 2-3 things that sound incredible! As far as atmosphere goes, the interior is incredibly inviting, a bit fancy but with a relaxed vibe still. As far as service goes, there isn't a single bad thing I can say! Tomato Brothers is a great family environment. Some family of ours was visiting UM Mott's, and we met them halfway at Tomato Brothers. We have a rambunctious two year old that the waiter was very kind to, brought booster seat, crayons his own plate and cup, and an easier knife to cut the pizza for him. He was so calm because of how much care was put into our visit! Food was excellent. The pizza is so good here, and our family loved the generous portions of pasta. Okay, before we get to the food, let's talk about service. When we called in, we called in looking for information; primarily on the recommendation of a friend. We spoke with McKenna and she was extremely helpful and helped to clarify our preferences for our family. We had plenty on our plate dealing with a recent loss and the subsequent funeral and wake. McKenna was also present the following day when we picked up our order. She personally made sure we had all the plates, utensils, and things we needed. McKenna made sure our order was complete. Kudos to a young lady who took customer service to another level at a time our family was suffering... she made it easy for us. Thank you. The Food! Mastaccioli was delicious! After years of weddings where Mastaccioli was just a filler... this was a star. But not the only one. The baked chicken was seasoned so well that it exploded with flavor.
