Came here on a Tuesday around 5 not packed. There is a lot of stocked Mexican candy, table covers, and balloons of different sizes! Costumer service was okay. Prices were average some did go higher depending on material quality and size. Overall, would come again!

After seeing a reel on IG about this place, I convinced my fiancé (quite easily might I add) that we needed to stop here during our weekend getaway to Catalina. It isn't very far from the port so getting there was a breeze. This cute shop sits on the intersection of a Main Street so it cannot be missed. Parking is off the side street or on the Main Street. Once you walk in you are amazed by the huge selection of candies they have here and the best part, they are reasonably priced. They offer a plethora of Mexican candies, decor, party items and more. We got a little carried away with our selections but we didn't break the bank. They sell the candies by the bundles or individual pieces which is nice because there were a few candies that looked good but I wasn't sure if I'd like them so I took the individual pieces to try them out. If you are looking to fill a sweet tooth or stock up on party goodies, this place is the one to fill those needs.

My second time here. Customer service is amazing! Workers are very knowledgeable of the balloon supply and colors. They are even super responsive on social media. Great selection of colors and qualities. I used to drive all the way to Glendale (an hour away) for balloons. I found my new balloon spot!

We drove from Santa Ana to Long Beach bad costumer service they tell you different prices when you walk in they say one price when they ring you up it's a different price the lady there shouldn't even work there her attitude is trash she should not work in retail the other two employees where outside smoking and drinking and taking videos where is this owner then to get a discount they practically force you to write a good review on here on Yelp ! First of all came to this store I believe 5/13/2019 which was pretty new at the time a family member recommended me to try them out which to my surprise they had all kinds of Mexican candy. But I was surprised when I spoke with Jesse he pretty much help guide me to help decorating my nephews graduation which was on 6/18/2019. He gave me an initial estimate of the decorations costs which came out to be around $1700 which from doing some research I found that their prices were pretty low seeing as how other party planners were charging me nearly $2500. But wow Jesse blew my socks off. In our order we requested: - 20X20 Canopy - 10 Round Tables - 100 Chairs - Royal Blue Décor - Organic Balloon Tower - A bunch of other balloons - 10 Center Pieces - All cloth table covers and cover tops In all honesty the price I paid was a completely bargain and a steal I got everything super cheap and with instillation included. Even though it says dulceria these guys do a wide selection of decorations for all kinds of party, celebrations, and events. These guys have my business 1000% for any future parties. I will tell everybody about this place. Great store to have Long Beach needed something like this thank you for helping my throw an amazing party. read more

I saw this store driving by on Pacific street and was amazed by the crazy amount of Mexican Candy this store had. They even had my favorite candy Bubu Lubu. I will definetly be coming back they also do balloon orders even if you didn't purchase the balloons will be coming back for my son's birthday party. I saw that they had a Fortnite pinatas and some decorations. No need to make trips to LA these guys have everything I could ever need and they are 10 min away from where I live. People here are pretty friendly and are more than open to help you come up with ideas for decorations or how to make a candy table. read more

Please do not buy Candy from here or Please check your candy before buying my sister had a party for my nieces first birthday on sep 17th and it wasn't until my daughter opened her candy and seen a maggot moving in the cajeta candy and my sister found more maggots went back to the store and where selling individual candy's in bowls that were no good and told them to have them removed this is disgusting please check expiration dates before buying anything from this place... read more

Annoyed customer. I ordered tables, chairs and a jumper. Ordering went smooth the owner was very nice so I decided to order with them, arrival of equipment and quality of equipment also fine. AFTER the party is where the trouble started. My party was over Saturday and they were supposed to come pick up on sunday. No one called me and no one showed up to pick up. Ok, next day I call about 20 times and no one answers and they dont have an answering machine. I share a yard with 3 neighbors and I have 70 chairs, tables and a jumper sitting in the back. So finally I show up to the store Nd the owner is surprised that the equipment hasn't been picked up, doesnt apologize just says it will be picked up. The driver then calls me a few hours and wants to come by. I told him to come in about 30 min and he said he would be there and call me when in the front. He never came and never called. Now it's tuesday suff still at my house, I called again and the owner said it would be picked up or " I could keep it". Not once did anyone apologize. Soooo unprofessional. I will definitely not being going back. They finally came and p9cked it up at a time I wasnt even home, they just let themselves into my property whenever they felt like it , took the stuff and left. Never again. I'm just glad this mess didnt happen before my party. read more

We first opened our Long Beach location as of October 2017, but we have been in business as a party distributor for over 15 years. But now we make the transition in fulfilling the direct needs of the consumer by helping plan their parties, events, or any other occasion. Hello everyone! I'm Jesus S. and I'm the proud owner of the Dulceria Candy Spot. I'm happy to announce we're open for business and I look forward to meeting everyone. My team and I deliberately work hard to meet the expectations of our customers by actively engaging through social media and all forms of communication. First off, shout out to the owners dad who talked about his son's business and how he moved back to SoCal to help him out. To help support their business, I decided to but a few bags since I loved their story. Plus, the shop was cool, service was great, and you are immersed by the popcorn scent once you walk in. Most importantly, there are so many flavors and if you are undecided like I was, they allow you to try 3 flavors. After deliberation and going back and forth which felt like hours, actually 2 minutes, I ended up taking home Doritos Cool Ranch, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Dill Pickle. Doritos Cool Ranch: Tastes just like the chips, and as a matter of fact, there are chip crumbs throughout the bag which is a plus because it is one of my favorites. It's mind boggling how they can master the taste and trick your mind, thinking you are eating a bag of chips. Not too salty, popcorn was fresh, and the taste was perfection. By the time we realized, the bag was done and had us wanting more. Strawberry Cheesecake: Sweet but delicious. Definitely tasted like I was eating cheesecake. Cool tip-eat one of the pink and white kernels to get the true taste and be sure to savor it. Dill Pickle: I am not a fan of pickles but I would make an exception because it had a great taste. I was shopping last minute and got a dozen balloon and a number seven balloon for my daughter on Saturday which was quiet busy, but in 10 min I was on my way to surprise my daughter and maker her moment memorable. I was unaware that the owner from candy land also owned this store in Long Beach they have the same amount of varieties of products and merchandise its so convenient.
