OMG this store is the bomb.com, I initially went here to get various meats. I pass here all the time, today I finally stopped I am so glad I did. I was asked right away as I approached the meat counter did I need help with anything. There's a full meat counter the prices are pretty good. The other thing that I love was the Michoacana Ice Cream and other treats #bionicos was so yummy. The lady was very nice gave me samples of the ice cream it's made with natural products. I have found a new place when I have a sweet tooth. Last but not least is the chicken that is grilled outside I purchased a half of chicken which included salsa it is so yummy & juicy I will definitely return very soon read more

What is this a cute little place! First of all I love it because the prices are so much better than some of the chain ice cream establishments that make you pay five dollars for one scoop of ice cream. This is very reasonable for different flavors of ice cream. My favorite is Chamoy! However they have everything from snickers ice cream to fruity pebble ice cream, coffee ice cream, etc. I have already been to visit another local location. Never ever crazy busy but all kinds of desserts this place. I will continue to come visit. read more

OMGGGG!!!! So today was my first time coming here and I was in ice cream heaven. They have so many different flavor ice creams, paletas, raspados, smoothies, etc. They have milk based ice cream as well as water based (I prefer water based) for you to choose from. My daughter ended up getting a double scoop which costs $5, but you're getting a red cup sized cup full of ice cream so I don't think the price was too bad. I have yet to try the paletas, but they look amazing! Unfortunately I'm on a damn diet so I had to pass today, but I will be back on cheat day So finding the place...if you don't pay attention YOU WILL MISS IT! It is actually inside the bodega on a corner of Anaheim and a small cross street. Parking is horrible. Maybe only 8 parking spots and they're usually always taken. Street parking is almost none existent also. Don't lose hope though, people are in and out quick so the wait isn't too long, it's definitely worth it though! read more

Found this joint on Yelp while I was in the area. It's located inside of the small Mexican market. There was a "now open" sign outside so I'm assuming this is a new establishment. Private parking is available. There were 2 groups ahead of us but we were served pretty quickly. Service was friendly. They have wide variety of ice cream, Paletas (Mexican style popsicles), elote and so on! Ordered chamango (Mangoneada in their menu). La Bodega Michoacana is located inside a small supermarket off a corner. It has its own private parking lot. When you walk into the supermarket it is on your right hand side. We decided to get a bionico, elote, and paletas. My sister didn't really like the bionico, the elote has no butter or Chile, safe to say I didn't like it... but the paletas are delicious!!! They had a promo of buy 12 get one free, and fatasses that we are decided to get 12. The strawberry and cream and fresh strawberry were delicious! They have so many different flavors... mango, cookies and cream, pistachio, vanilla, etc... they tasted very fresh and it didn't taste like a lot of sugar was added... This is the best fruit cocktail I have had in 9 years. Fruit is very fresh and you get a lot of different fruits. I hate it when people sell fruit cocktails and all they have is cantaloupe, watermelon and jicama, like really? You need more than 3 fruits to call it a cocktail and they really know that in this place. I got a biónico fruit cocktail, which means it has sweet cream, granola and coconut and it really took my fruit cocktail to the next level. I also had strawberry sherbet ice cream and it was fantastic, it was like bitting into real strawberries. No weird chemical taste and no sugary taste it was just perfect. This place so good, It's a small part of Mexico . They have so many ice cream choices and treats that you can't find anywhere but in hole in the wall places. The ice cream is fresh and mangoliadas are worth the drive . A quick update, so I've been here more than a few times well before closing and every time it's " oh we're closed " " we cleaned so we can't make it "when they're still 30-40min left . I am empathetic of anyone working and having those stragglers come in last minute but for ice-cream 30-40min window is not last minute. read more
