I have ordered here a few times off grub hub and they never seem to disappoint me. The first time I ordered I got 1 fish taco and the shrimp cocktail. They delivered withing 30 minutes which was really quick considering it's through GrubHub. When I got my food the taco was still hot and the shrimp cocktail cold like it should be. I've had some good mexican food but since moving to Concord I haven't found a place that has the flavor I've been use to getting back in San Jose. Let me tell you the shrimp cocktail is still by far the best here I've had in the area. They were not stingy with their portions it had a lot of avocado, cucumbers and lots of shrimp. The flavor was just right, it came with crackers but I usually like it with their chips instead. As for the fish taco it was so good, lots of flavor and the fish tasted fresh. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for flavorful food. Soon I will make it into the restaurant since I usually just order delivery. read more

They do Taco Tuesdays, and for that I'm so so grateful. Because $1 tacos?! Yaaas. Their $1 taco menu excludes certain items. Luckily, Carnitas made the cut and let me tell you, it's delicious. David, the owner is very nice and tried his best to rectify the horrible customer service that we received from Miriam and Emely. If it were completely based off the initial situation and the horrible service from Miriam and Emely I would give ZERO stars but the fact that you can tell the owner actually cares about the customers and appreciates them speaks volumes. My entire family used to frequent this place very often but after the interaction I had with the 2 employees we will no longer go back. I am highly disappointed with their lack of service and willingness to fix the mistake they caused which includes giving my daughter an item with ingredients that could actually kill her (an item we did NOT order) David, I thank you for speaking with me about the situation and I hope you can correct the behavior of these employees. Great tacos and ceviche tostadas. I tried the super burrito with pollo asado and its basically half rice so I will stick to other items such as the carnitas plate which I had today. Not that the rice is bad, its just overwhelming on the burrito. The carnitas were moist but would have been good to be a bit charred, I guess its a balance. They also have a salsa and chip bar which has good four salsa options. You can even pack limes to go. They use FiveStars for loyalty which is a nice perk because we come here a lot and always put in a large order so the points are racking up fast. I found and bit into a thin metal wire (similar to that's used to closed bread or pastries) on my quesadillas. We ordered a kid's meal chicken with fries, but the chicken was so tough we didn't eat it at all. We've been ordering from them for almost a year now since we moved into the area, but something must have changed. The last time we ordered with them was the last straw for me, so I don't think I will order from them again. I believe it's a goal of mine to experience and then review each and every shop here in this area. First I need to cross of all the restaurant. After already trying the other Mexican restaurant in this complex the other day, I made my way towards this one to see what the deal was. Why? Because this one has higher reviews and this one always seems busier. Parking is never an issue. The parking lot is huge. I mean, of course you'd want to pick a spot closer to the restaurant but there's nothing wrong with have a mini-walk to it. It's such a nice restaurant. It's bright inside. Kind of brightens ones mood to see such a nice interior and having the knowledge that you're about to eat some good food. There's a bunch of seating. Tables of four mostly. To order, you go up to the register. I didn't have to wait at all and a person was there to attend to me. WHAT A LOVELY WOMAN she was. She had a smile on her face. She read the menu to me and recommended me stuff. After debating between the nachos and tacos, I decided to go for three regular steak tacos. This cost me about six dollars. They give you a number after ordering. I made my way to a seat and waited. Two minutes in: number 38. Four minutes in: number 39. Five minutes in: number 40. Six minutes in: number 42. WAIT where's mine? Seven minutes in: number 41. Yay! I went home, opened up my hot package, peered inside to see the styrofoam container with a couple of napkins, two small containers of a dark red salsa and a green salsa. Okay, I didn't like the salsas. They were too sour. I didn't bother with them. I only used one of the three limes they gave me on my three tacos. The tacos had two flour tortillas which was very helpful. I didn't want my taco to break and turn into a different kind of dish! There was steak, onions, and cilantro in the tacos. A wonderful combination! Now these aren't the best tacos I have had. The best I've had were from Mexico, but these were pretty good. What I do ask for next time is that this would be a bit juicer and not as dry. Good stuff! Check it out for pretty good food at a cheap price. read more

The rudeness of the two young men that were working there was disgusting! One of the boys and I say "boys" because they acted like boys! The lack of professionalism was more than obvious! The self serve salsa bar has no little white bags on top of the shelf.. I waited to get the attention of an arrogant young man that was too busy talking to the cook about are you going to the " baille! I know enough Spanish to know that means dance.. I finally got his attention, never gave me eye contact he just slammed 2 bags on top and continued the conversation with the cook...I said I am going to need 4 bags total to take chips for 4 people (I ordered 14 tacos) He looked at me and slammed one more bag! I said sir I need one more he rolled his eyes and slammed one more bag and turned around and continued talking to the cook!! I said why are u acting so angry? His face looked angry I said why do you let people have free salsa and chips if your going to be cheap about it ? The other kid stepped in and said "we are not cheap" and the other started aggressive body language as to try to intimate me.. I could not believe it!! That's why I say disgusting low life attitudes!... I said can I speak with the owner and he said go next door and they both laughed!. I am older woman and felt so disrespected by these two idiots.. The one that was talking to the cook was disgusting the way he shook his head from side to side in a confrontational manner.. Who acts that way ! Two people seated behind me as I stood said " if the owner was here those idiots would not be disrespecting you lady. I promise you that". I was sick when I left there. NEVER will I set foot in that place again. The place was dirty empty tables with food and rubbish on the floor.. BTW my husband was with me and threw the food away once we got outside.
