My very first time going there was a 1999. I just bought my house up the hill and I had met my dad for dinner. My situation has changed and I tend to eat there probably once a month with my boyfriend. He sometimes has one of the meals. I tend to have a bowl of bean dip with some chips and salsa and two crunchy tacos. He started getting that as well. We quite often eat there after one of us is either had a hard day or just finished the yard project. I feel like they know us cause they sometimes bring me extra salsa without asking. I really can't vouch for the other the meals because I haven't had one in a very long time but....what I do order I really enjoy and always leave there Happy and full. Los Reyes has been in this same location for as long as i can remember and they never disappoint! I use to work at Safeway back in 2014 & for lunch id always get the carne asada fries with an horchata!! Fast forward to today, its one of my go to places for food! The service is great, always friendly & immediate to take care of their customers. I love their quesabirrias! For wet burritos, this place misses the mark. My burrito had only about a tablespoon of tough beef and maybe a teaspoon of rice. It was mostly a refried bean burrito. The wet sauce on top was also very thick and heavy. No bueno! Do better. read more

This place used to be our go-to but the quality has gone down. We ordered 4 super burritos with everything in them and were surprised to receive such small unfilled burritos. Today I was feeling for Mexican food but I didn't want to get a take out super burrito. Decided on Los Reyes for a sit down leisurely lunch. The restaurant wasn't full since it was 1:40 in the afternoon. I was able to sit in a comfortable booth which was very clean. The waiter comes over with the menu and left. A minute later he returned with my chips and salsa. The took my order. I ordered a two enchilada and chili rellleno combo and a jimica aqua Fresca. He returned with my drink which was in a huge cup. Later the combo came. The enchiladas were simple one cheese and the our shredded chicken. In red sauce. They were 4/5, the rice and beans were 4/5 but the true winner was the relleno. 5/5. Perfectly battered, chili had the right heat and wonderful gooey cheese. The aqua Fresca was a 5/5 as well. All together the bill came out to $20 which seams reasonable for the amount of food I received. 100% recommended read more

Really bad customer service. I ordered food to go for myself and my daughter and pointed to the kids menu and ordered an enchilada for her. Alicia (manager) took the order and just left me standing there awkwardly and said she'll take my payment later. Then she started helping other people out. Never did she say, have a seat or anything as I stood there awkwardly and uncomfortable. The ordering station is in the back/middle with the bar so it's in a weird spot to stand. I wait a while then she says it will be $24 something. Ummm how?! I ordered 2 a la carte tacos that were $3 something each and kids meal $7. How is that $24+???? She then says you can't order kids meals to go so we charged you for an enchilada, rice and beans all separately. Wtf?!!!! How does that make sense so basically my kid's meal is now $18?!!!! Make that make sense!!!! Why on earth would she not tell me that when ordering? I would have gone somewhere else instead of wasting my time waiting to be grossly overcharged. I told her I didn't want the kids meal and she smugly said "ok I'll cancel your order" so I left. I called to speak with the manager and of course Alicia is the manager. lol wow, way to run a business. We were having a team party and decided to do it here. We called a day before and the owner was super nice and helpful with setting the gathering. We arrived the next day and they were able to accommodate 24 people and we all sat together. There was a lot of options on the menu. If you like seafood they have a pretty big selection. The staff here was amazing and so patient. We were able to celebrate a birthday and they played a song we requested. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement. My favorite Taqueria! I've been coming here for 20+ years since I was a little girl. They have now expanded their restaurant so it's even bigger and you can tell they've gained a lot more customers. Burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas, you name it. You really can't go wrong ordering anything here! I typically order a burrito and they are a good size. I can usually only eat half and finish the other half for dinner. I recently ordered my 3 year old daughter a kids burrito and that was a good size also. I will say that since they've grown, I do feel like their recipe has changed just slightly. I do miss the old way they used to cook but I'm sure over time, their cooks have changed so that's why the taste is slightly different - but it's still really good! Their crispy tacos with ground beef are bomb. The price is good. Not a lot of places offer crispy tacos. They come with sour cream so there is no need to have to order it on the side which a lot of places make you pay an extra fee. I will be back to try other meat options on the crispy tacos. What a great find! I guess this place has been here a while but I've never thought about trying it out until someone suggested it. First impression: The place was clean, well lit, plenty of seating and parking. There were a lot of people buying food to go and the staff was very prompt in helping them. Our server, Gabi, was amazing. She was friendly, patient and got our order right. The food was good and the portion was appropriate. I had the enchilada dinner with red sauce (chicken and shredded beef). It was well seasoned and the flavor was perfect. My parents had a burrito and tacos which they really enjoyed. I never leave reviews, but if I'm going to leave a review, I want it to be a positive. I have never walked in to any space and felt so unwelcome in my life. I ordered my food online. Waited 30 minutes to pick it up according to the meter. When I walked up to the cashier, he made me wait while he played on his computer for 2 minutes. He did not greet me. He did not smile and basically when he did acknowledge me, he said what do you want? once the food was bagged up, he looked at me coldly and just put it on the counter. I stood around long enough for him to greet the next customer. Completely different. I want my money back. I do not patronize places that treat their customers disrespectfully! I live close by and I used to go there for there for their chilaquiles which are pretty good, however I dislike and have always disliked refried beans unless it's used as a chip dip so I always ask for whole beans. The last two times I went there I was just picking up because I had a busy day ahead of me but both times they gave me refried beans after i specified whole beans but both times I didn't realize they screwed up my order until it was too late and I already got my day started several cities away so I ended up throwing away the beans which left me a little hungry both times. I called and spoke to a lady named Kaila but it was never made right so I haven't been there in about 2.5 years now since there are several other Mexican restaurants in the area that will actually get your order right!! read more

The grilled chicken quesadilla had a good amount of chicken and cheese, it came with sour cream, guacamole and pico di gallo in the side which was very good however it could have been cooked just a smidge more as it was a little Soggy. The side of rice was perfect, fluffy, savory and a very nice portion as a side dish. The super burrito was the perfect size, great whole beans rice and grilled chicken. I've ordered twice from here in the last few days for their birria tacos and crispy shrimp tacos, so that oughta tell you they're pretty good! Birria Tacos: Birria is super popular right now and seems to be sweeping the nation. There's something about juicy, succulent beef encased in a crispy tortilla with melted cheese (optional) and topped with fresh cilantro and onion. And then, dipping it into consome, almost like a French dip, but the Mexican version. Their beef birria tacos are delicious. I have had better birria tacos which are packed with more meat and cheese, but these are just fine as well for a quick birria craving. The consome is thick and and flavorful and coats the tacos nicely when you dip them. What I wish is that they start offering more birria options like quesadillas and burritos. Even a birria plate would be nice so that you don't always have to have it in quesabirria taco form. I'm not complaning, though! I'm just glad I found decent birria that I don't have to wait an hour for (thinking of you, Lady Gomitas in San Jose). Crispy Shrimp Tacos: Delectable! The shrimp tastes fresh and the shell is fried to perfection! Topped with a bit of salsa, they are the bomb and a good alternative to your regular Mexican street tacos. read more

In that past year or so, the people are nice, the food and convenience are good, but the service SUCKS with a capital SUCKS!!!! They cannot take or fill an order correctly for the life of them. Every wet burrito I've ordered has had to go back to be made wet, and other similar ordering issues pretty much every time i call an order in and go pick it up.
