I showed up on time at 11am, handed the service counter my keys, and went to the waiting area. Over three hours pass without any communication, and then the customer rep comes out and tells me they can't get my wheels to fit, and that I need new center rings and lugs, but that they didn't have any in stock, and that they couldn't source them. What kind of service technician (of 30 years apparently) starts a job without checking fitment first? This is a Subaru Outback mind you, at a Subaru dealership, and they can't get the parts? He apologized and said they were putting my old tires back on and they'd be done shortly. That shortly lasted another hour before he came to tell me one of my tires was being "finicky", he apologized again and said they were almost done. 20 minutes later he finally comes to get me, and in the end I paid over $400 for tires I can't use. But they did give me a free car wash at Kwiktrip! Ooooo They charged me for an incomplete job, wasted my time and money, and now I have to get the work done somewhere else. Never again will I visit this dealership. Horrible service and terrible work ethic.

They constantly denied any issue being found. Even after admitted faults of wrongly filling the transmission fluid to the proper amount which I believe caused the problem to begin. Their best answer and advice to us was to trade it in to another dealer so they could wash their hands of it and not have to deal with us anymore. Standard car dealership behavior right. Do yourself a favor and take your business else where. Only rated 1 start because 0 was not an option.

My car was in perfect condition. No problems with my car, ever. This visit was a very quick and efficient. At the front service desks, there were at least 3 people. The lady who helped me was friendly knowledgeable and even called me a Lyft to get me home. I know realize after reading the other review, they also didn't ask me if I needed the Lyft again or help getting back to the dealership to pick i up my car? My car was completed in 3 hours. I had my own ride to bring me back to pick up my car. Because this was a recall repair there was no charge. I was told that I didn't have to wait longer than a 2- weeks for the appt because it was part of the recall. I thought they weren't booking it til Feb? Now my every time I drive my car I smell a severe burning smell like something metal is melting under the hood. Recall: This is the same notification in the recall that warned owners to keep vehicles parked outside and away from structures until remedy can be developed to address the fire hazard that's near a hydraulic engine control device. Quite comforting, right? When I finally got a call back from Kia about my car smoking, ( it took an entire 7 days for somebody to reach out to me after I filled out the service request online ) they said they cannot schedule my car for an appointment until February. What? For an incomplete recall repair? They said just bring it in if it starts smoking or burning smell again and we'll do a diagnostic. So, when I had brought my car back to the dealership after 2-1/2 weeks, they said they couldn't create a ticket ( meaning he could check me in if there wasn't an apparent reason for the service request) for it because it was not actively smoking or active burning smells at the time. Mind you... it was windy outside and the car had already been sitting for 15 minutes while I was standing in line inside- after there was nobody to help me and the two people that were there before me. It was 3pm. So, he said I had the option to leave my car for a "Diagnostic that they can run ( Yes please) but .... I will have to leave my car with them for about 14-days to allow a diagnostic to be done on my car". What? Will they supply me with a rental car? No. Will they reimburse for a rental car? They can't say. Wow. I could not afford that option. They did thank me for my patience. I have no choice but to drop off my car and borrow another in the hopes they get done sooner? Otherwise my Kia may catch fire at any given time. Again, comforting to have such a reliable vehicle.

I paid $200 for a diagnostic, expecting that a dealership would be able to accurately identify the issue, after my local mechanic could not. I was given a confident diagnosis that the problem was an incorrectly installed wheel speed sensor. Based on that assurance, I scheduled the repair. That's where the experience started to fall apart. I took time off work and drove two hours to the dealership for my appointment, only to be told after I arrived that they didn't have the part and couldn't work on my vehicle. No call, no warning--just a wasted four-hour round trip. I told them during the initial diagnosis that I lived two hours away so you'd think they could have informed me at least at the end of the previous day. I was told I would be given a discount for the inconvenience. The appointment had been scheduled for over a week. I had to leave the car there at the shop for a few days for what was supposed to take a couple of hours, and find rides back and forth to the dealership. When the sensor was finally replaced, I was informed that the replacement did not fix the issue at all. The original problem remained exactly the same, meaning the initial "diagnosis" I paid 200$ for was incorrect. Despite this, I was charged $1,200 ($400 more than the original estimate) because the job supposedly took longer than expected. This was not run by me at any point prior to me coming to pick up the vehicle. So to summarize: I paid more than quoted for a repair that didn't fix the problem, based on a diagnosis that turned out to be wrong. When I raised concerns, I was told there was no flexibility on the bill and that a service manager would call me the following Monday. That call never came. This experience shows a complete lack of communication, accountability, and diagnostic accuracy. Dealerships charge a premium because customers expect expertise and reliable service. In this case, I received neither. I would strongly caution anyone considering bringing their vehicle here for diagnostic or repair work. This is also the only negative review I have ever written but have felt strongly compelled to do so from this totally negative experience.

We traded in our previous vehicle, but the title was still at our families home in Michigan. Keenan told me that this wasn't a problem and that once I returned to Michigan, I could simply mail the title to the dealership. Based on that conversation, I believed everything was taken care of. I was surprised when he later called and told me that I now needed to sign a power of attorney because the dealership had already sold my trade-in before receiving the title. This was never mentioned during the purchase process. If selling the vehicle before receiving the title would require additional paperwork or legal authorization, that should have been explained from the beginning. Buying a vehicle is a significant purchase, and customers deserve clear and transparent communication throughout the entire process. My frustration isn't with having to sign the paperwork--it's that the need for it only came up after the dealership had already sold my vehicle. More transparency upfront would have gone a long way toward building trust and avoiding unnecessary frustration.
