We did not have to wait long because we had made an appointment with Jeff Van Meter. He greeted us and brought us in his office to do paperwork and pre-approval. I had told him right away that we wanted to do a joint vehicle loan and we are married. He said since we are married and live in Wisconsin that is the best way to go. He tried to upsell us on other trucks which is totally fine because that is their job. We took the one we ended up buying for a test drive. I told him it had a chip in the windshield which he said they would set up to replace which they did set that up a week later. We told them we wanted it. Jeff and his team started the paperwork. I know it takes some time but when the guy that did the paper work came out to finalize the paperwork it was only in my husbands name (which also meant a slightly worst interest rate because I have a better credit score even though his isnt bad). When I mentioned it to the manager he just said Jeff didnt say that. My husband was pretty frustrated with being there so long with the kids he said whatever. Now I get a letter from the bank that did the loan saying "since you are married you take responsibility if he defaults on his loan but since you weren't on the loan it wont help your credit score". They do not listen to people even though Jeff had insisted that it was a joint loan in the beginning. When my husband leaves and meets back up with my children and I, he lets me know the backup camera isn't working. After trying to get a hold of Jeff for multiple days he says that he would "check with the used vehicle repair man" to see if they would cover it. I told him I understand it is a used vehicle but it worked when we test drove it AND it was advertised on the website as having a working back up camera. After a week of him not getting back to me, I am sure we are just written off and have to "deal with it". Also, the remote start advertised doesnt work on any key fob either You are just a number at Northstar Ford and not a person. Once you leave they don't give one crap. We will not be purchasing any more vehicles here. I should have listened to a friend that went to purchase a brand new vehicle last year and was treated rudely. Lesson learned, I guess. I also left a Google Maps review and someone said that the manager would reach out to try to resolve this ASAP and that was 3 days ago.

I purchased my vehicle from them a few years ago and always had such a great experience so when my mother started having problems with her car I recommend her to take it to them. What a mistake that was! Let me tell you why. The check engine light was on, it was showing EVAP codes, it was very hard to pump gas into causing the gas pump to click off, when you opened the gas cap you could hear gurgling, and a while driving you could hear a whistling noise. We brought it to Kolar Toyota and they stated code for evap purge valve/evap leak were popping up and that they found damaged lines located between the charcoal cannister and gas tank. Their words straight from the paperwork "Will need lines, suspect possible fuel tank issue, possible future canister failure from debris intrusion will need to fix lines lines/tank and reevaluate". The service advisor we were working with told us that the lines needed to be replaced but that they had to drop the gas tank in order to access the lines and that unless we wanted to risk paying another couple hundred dollars in labor on top of paying for the price of a new gas tank, that we should replace the gas tank now while they had it disconnected. With this information and under the assumption that we would be saving money in the long run, we decided to have it replaced. Over $2,000 later, we go to pick my moms car up and NONE of their repairs or replacements fixed a single problem. We brought her car back to Kolar for the second time and they discover the problem was actually the fuel tank filler neck. When we asked for a refund for the gas tank they replaced for no reason, they refused. We did not ask for a refund for the labor. We just wanted a refund the for gas tank itself. That alone was $874.09! that may not be alot of money for a dealership but it is to my mom! I spoke to the service manager and his reasoning for denying us a refund for the tank was basically that sometimes diagnosis of a vehicle can be a guessing game, that the mechanic has never seen a fuel tank filler neck fail and didn't think to check it and that we okayed the replacement of the tank. YES! WE DID! BECAUSE HAD BEEN CONVINCED THAT THIS WAS PART OF THE ISSUE AND IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. What would have happened if replacing the fuel tank filler neck had not fixed the problems either?! Would they have kept charging us for unnecessary parts until they found the issue?! If you look it up, the signs of failed fuel tank filler neck include: Check engine light (EVAP codes), difficulty refueling, and hissing sounds. I could have done a better job at diagnosing and fixing my mothers car with Google and a YouTube video! Take your vehicles elsewhere and save yourself time and money! Or fix your vehicle yourself, we wish we would have!

I've never been to this dealership before, as I typically go through another dealership near my hometown, so I was expecting mixed results. They had my car finished in just over one business day without an appointment, and didn't charge me anything for the parts and labor since this is a known issue with Nissan. Additionally, I asked them to check my right front wheel bearing, and they did so without any other fees. I will definitely be coming back here in the future!! Thank you so much Krenzen folks!

I recently brought my Nissan Frontier to Krenzen Nissan because the ABS and traction control lights…read morewere on, which also disabled my 4x4. I paid $200 for a diagnostic, expecting that a dealership would be able to accurately identify the issue, after my local mechanic could not. I was given a confident diagnosis that the problem was an incorrectly installed wheel speed sensor. Based on that assurance, I scheduled the repair. That's where the experience started to fall apart. I took time off work and drove two hours to the dealership for my appointment, only to be told after I arrived that they didn't have the part and couldn't work on my vehicle. No call, no warning--just a wasted four-hour round trip. I told them during the initial diagnosis that I lived two hours away so you'd think they could have informed me at least at the end of the previous day. I was told I would be given a discount for the inconvenience. The appointment had been scheduled for over a week. I had to leave the car there at the shop for a few days for what was supposed to take a couple of hours, and find rides back and forth to the dealership. When the sensor was finally replaced, I was informed that the replacement did not fix the issue at all. The original problem remained exactly the same, meaning the initial "diagnosis" I paid 200$ for was incorrect. Despite this, I was charged $1,200 ($400 more than the original estimate) because the job supposedly took longer than expected. This was not run by me at any point prior to me coming to pick up the vehicle. So to summarize: I paid more than quoted for a repair that didn't fix the problem, based on a diagnosis that turned out to be wrong. When I raised concerns, I was told there was no flexibility on the bill and that a service manager would call me the following Monday. That call never came. This experience shows a complete lack of communication, accountability, and diagnostic accuracy. Dealerships charge a premium because customers expect expertise and reliable service. In this case, I received neither. I would strongly caution anyone considering bringing their vehicle here for diagnostic or repair work. This is also the only negative review I have ever written but have felt strongly compelled to do so from this totally negative experience.

Over three hours pass without any communication, and then the customer rep comes out and tells me they can't get my wheels to fit, and that I need new center rings and lugs, but that they didn't have any in stock, and that they couldn't source them. What kind of service technician (of 30 years apparently) starts a job without checking fitment first? This is a Subaru Outback mind you, at a Subaru dealership, and they can't get the parts? He apologized and said they were putting my old tires back on and they'd be done shortly. That shortly lasted another hour before he came to tell me one of my tires was being "finicky", he apologized again and said they were almost done. 20 minutes later he finally comes to get me, and in the end I paid over $400 for tires I can't use. I picked it up and within 100 miles, there was a terrible noise coming from the front left wheel. I was a little distracted cause that within those first 100 miles, I also realized that the infotainment microphone didn't work, the gas tank lid doesn't stay open when you pull the latch, it only stays open while you pull it. So by the time I got around to looking at that issue, I realized one of the lug nuts is really worked off the wheel bolt. It was the wheel wobbling making the awful noise. This seemed super odd since it was 100 miles in, and when I pull it off the stripped lug nut falls off with a goopy lock seal dripping all over the stripped bolt. At this point, it's the Monday after Thanksgiving and this place isn't open on Monday. So I take it to a shop and while they are fixing the wheel, they inform me and show me the cracked alternator belt and confirmed the lock seal substance was recently applied. I nearly lost it at this point- minor lie about the keys but the idiot kid Asher looked like he was still learning how to shave so I let it go. Gas tank lid could have broke after I drove off the lot for all I know. But you let my family get in a car with a wobbly janky wheel? What would've happened if the wheel came off while they drove, or took a sharp turn, etc.? The application of that substance is a clear indication they knew there was an issue but wanted to save $75 fixing a wheel bolt? And no way an alternator belt cracks up in under 100 miles. But I figured I failed, I did verbally ask if there were issues but no I didn't inspect every inch of the $17k car. And I never reached out to them. I mean who reaches out to the person who flagrantly cheats them and endangers the lives of their family?? Certainly not. Now today- 3 weeks in, I learn the windshield fluid dispenser on the back window doesn't work. What else will I find? Who knows! What will you find wrong in your new Anderson Motors car? Nothing, cause hopefully you learn from my mistakes and leave these crapweasels alone.
