This Duluth Trading Company is in a beautiful building with plenty of parking. The Employees sort of blended into their customer base, they all seemed to be wearing plaid. Five or six separate employees asked me if I needed help. There seemed to be two employees stationed in the Men's Buck Naked Underwear Section alone. Between Radio Ads and Yelp friends check in's I had to check the place out. The clothing seemed more stylish than I expected. I did not know they had items like women's scarfs and bags. They almost seemed to bring "cool" to things like men's outdoor work pants. Check out was fast and painless. When I left the door greeter thank me for my purchase. Well this place is pricey as all get out. The flex pants seem less quality than the firehose canvas pants, with wayyy less pockets. But if you're looking for a pair of canvas/cotton blend pants that will last a lifetime, they have em for about $60. Go during a sale. These pants are actually so sweet though they have hammer hooks on both legs and a little tiny loop for keys or something in the front, a secret interior pocket by the waist, and deeep deep pockets anywhere they reside. My partner needed some good work pants (not like those thin pajama esque dickies pants) hes a plumber doing tons of digging, jackhammering, ground roughs etc etc, his boss said his old pants could probably stand up by themselves in the corner they're so filth-a-fied. These duluth's are standing the test of time though. The employees checking us out were also super nice and friendly and let us know about deals they have coming up. I bought some off ebay for half the price, get em however you want! great brand for workwear. read more

Funny how Karma works, it isn't it? In trying to find something comfortable for my 6'5" boyfriend, I turned to Duluth Trading Company. The poor man is just tough to fit in someways. So... it all started with me wanting to help him and shopping online. While looking at their site, I saw some of the Women's clothing and took notice of the Armachillo line created to be comfortable in hot weather. We had a trip to Costa Rica coming up and I knew it would be hot and humid so I invested is some skorts, undies and tops for myself. Note, the word 'invested' because their clothes are not inexpensive. They are, however, really well made have handy features,(think lots of pockets) the fabric holds up and seems to release stains better than others. They stand behind their products and I've experienced great customer service from them. I've also learned to be a bit patient before buying if I see something I like. Eventually it will go on sale. Wanted to clarify something I read in another review... I am not sure exactly what their exact return/warranty policy is, but it does NOT cover 2+ year old jeans, covered in paint with holes ripped in them. Yes, a guy in line in front of me wanted to exchange two such pairs of jeans and was unhappy the clerk wouldn't accommodate him. For what it's worth, I have returned items that didn't fit the way I'd hoped shortly after purchasing them without problems. My friend and I stopped at the Tesla Supercharger in the parking lot adjacent to Duluth Trading Company. When I saw the Duluth store I knew I wanted to go in. I've looked at their catalog/website multiple times but have never been to a brick & mortar store. It did not disappoint. If you spent $75 you got 20% off which wasn't difficult to do. I ended up with a few of the women's No Yank Tank Tops and a couple of short sleeve t-shirts. Very happy with the quality of their product and my purchases. I wanted to walk into Duluth Trading, loving the store.When you first walk in, the fragrance is of wool and fireplace. I loved the smell, it brought me back to the Ozarks. The smell lingers in the entire store. I wanted a long tail tank top. Price 17-20. I went Saturday after Black Friday. I tried one on, and it was too thin. I tried on a long sleeved long tail shirt priced around 29-34, and tried it on. It was so thin I could see my bra. I didn't like their jeans or pants. I had a look at their $22 women's underwear, on sale if you buy 3 pairs, which would ring up around $66. On racks were wool and flannel plaid shirts and jackets which start around $69. I saw a lined t-shirt for around $50. I guess their long tail t-shirts are meant to wear underneath clothing. I found nothing my son would want. Buck Naked boxers were around $20. I believe I heard an employee say everything in the store under the Duluth name has a life time guarantee. I can't confirm it. I had to laugh, you mean underwear too? If you get bored, there's 2 chairs and a t.v. in a carpetted area with a Keurig in the back of the store. 3 stars. When they have a sale, like after Christmas, I might return. But as of now, it's ho-hum, I'd rather Land End. The store should tie in well with Bass Pro. It'll be interesting to visit on sales and change of seasons. I do like the plaid shirts, and know they are good quality. Almost comparable to United Colors of Beneton or Pendleton. read more

I love shopping at Duluth online because they have very high quality clothing. It's expensive but you get what you pay for. I had to return something so I decided to check out a brick and mortar store while I was at it. It was very underwhelming and actually a little disappointing. Customer service was absolutely non-existent, and the lady (I think?) who did my return acted like I was making her life miserable. I didn't expect a lot because it is retail, but Duluth really markets themselves differently and I thought the store would reflect that, but it certainly did not. read more

If you have seen the commercials then you know what to expect when coming here. Lots of underwear and other men's rustic clothing. The signs are as comical as their commercials and you can't help but stand and stare at all the different underwear they sell. No pinch, no stink, no sweat. This is a great store. Best customer service from a brick and mortar retailer I have had in some time. It all began when Robert B. enthusiastically greeted us at the front door. He took us into the woman's department and quickly helped me find what I was looking for. The cashier was also very helpful and held my purchases while I continued to shop. Duluth has super high quality goods and I am never disappointed. Now--I know a lot of folks are wowed with designer jeans, however, the Duluth jeans fit so well it was like they were custom made for me!!! I'm only giving 3 stars and that's because Bella helped me. There is 2 cashiers at cash rep. 1 was checking out a customer the other was texting on her phone. Never once asked me do I need help. Thank god it was a online order I placed or I may still be waiting. I watched Duluth be built worked there so I know the customer service is usually 100% and I did not get that. Very disappointing. Superb customer service The 1st time I went in an associate showed me around and helped me tremendously. The 2nd time I brought friends with me and we all had amazing service. This 3rd time I brought back a pair of Buck Naked that had frayed in the wash and you exchanged them no questions. It was easy and quick for the associate to look up the receipt when I bought them and do the exchange. I bought the new items I went in for, for Father's Day and left very happy. read more

Really disappointed. Love the companies commercials but there are none in my area. I don't like the idea of ordering a pair of $50-$60 shorts without knowing if I like them. When I came to KC and saw one nearby I decided to try it out. Plus it's in the 80s and humid and I didn't pack shorts. I walk in and there are 3 customers, including me, and 5 people working there. After my 3rd walk through the men's section I decide to ask one for help. Prior to that none of them even noticed me. Two had been in a decidedly one way conversation about how her friends put $1200 down and still didn't have the car and she was going to go destroy them all over social media. They had maybe 20 pairs of shorts in the store including the clearance rack. None were even close to my size. The gentleman told me they took most of the shorts out last week in favor of jackets and winter clothes and all they had was barely 1/4 of the rack he was standing near. I probably could have gotten over the shorts if it wasn't for the 45 minute drive, including traffic, and the reprehensible customer service. Apparently folding a shirt got 10 minutes as the gentleman in the back was doing takes massive amounts of concentration and he failed to notice the 6'4", 250 lbs, gentleman wandering around near him ...
