The staff at this office have been kind and helpful in every interaction. They have been patient when we have been confused and have helped us get to the proper offices when my dad has needed specialized testing. The only reason for 1 missing star is that Duly is terrible with their centralized call center. I've had nothing but terrible experiences with making appointments and getting questions answered. Some people have been borderline rude, acting annoyed when I have additional questions.

The nurse walked in, took my blood pressure, pulse, etc. Then the doctor walked in, shook my hand, I explained what had been bothering me and she told me she was unable to help me with my migraines and I had to go see a neurologist. She did not examine me nor even try to help in any sort of way. She handed me two cards with Neurologists she recommended and sent me on my way. Now I have a bill for 100 dollars- for what? I spent more time in the waiting room than anything else. Complete waste of time! I do not recommend her to anyone.

She refuses to call in scripts and makes me call my pharmacy and make the pharmacist call in ALL requests to the doctor. I've never dealt with an office who won't give the doctor a script request. I find the receptionist lazy and very inefficient. Often, I have to keep calling the office and asking if the refill was called in. I've been told by the receptionist that she will NOT contact me when the script is called into the pharmacy, and I can just "keep calling your pharmacy until it gets there." HUH??!! When I tried to explain to the receptionist that this is a very inefficient way to know when I can pickup my daughter's meds, she replied, "it's the only way, because I don't know when or IF scripts are refilled." Then, "sleepy sounding receptionist" hangs up, and I spend the next 5+ hours trying to guess when to pickup my daughter's meds, and if they've even been called in at all. The receptionist also blames ME when she never returns my calls. When I finally get upset because I can't get the office to call me back, the receptionist says, "I left you a message. You must not have gotten it." This excuse worked the first and second times, but by the 3rd time, it's just annoying. Even when I explain that I don't have any missed calls from the office and NO messages, the receptionist than blames my phone and says "something must've happened." Huh??! No, nothing "happened" other than I can't seem to get returned calls from this office. Today, after waiting for 2 days for a return call, I was told "sorry, the doctor already left for the day, so you will need to wait another day before she can call in medicine for your daughter." So, tomorrow will be DAY THREE that we wait, when this should really take 5 minutes. It might be time to search for other options in St. Charles. As I mentioned, Dr. Venugopal is a great doctor, but if you want to see her, be prepared to fight with her receptionist to get refills, appointments or returned calls (and be prepared to be blamed too). I've had experience with other psychiatrists' offices with my daughter (in different places we've lived), and this office is definitely one of the worst to deal with (because of the staff).

Only downside for me is the cost of care for tests, or things not covered by insurance. (Check out alternative places, like Bright Light Imaging for CT Scans or imaging). The halls and main spaces are kept clean and in order. I especially appreciate the staff in the Breast Care Center. They are very caring individuals. I also find it is a perk to have a nice Starbuck's in the lobby here too, so you can treat yourself to a hot or iced beverage after an appointment. And, this is your reminder ladies (and men) to practice self care and get checked regularly each year. You matter! And this is a nice place to go when care is needed.

My father, a 78-year-old patient, was brought to this ER following a fall at his rehab facility…read more His medical record clearly documented a tape allergy with a specific notation that tape causes skin tears. Despite this being visible in his chart, staff applied standard adhesive tape to his arm. When the bandage was later removed, it tore his skin open, leaving a wound that was still unhealed ten days later and caused him significant pain for several weeks. This was not an emergency situation. He was there for a head CT and was stable. There was no reason his allergy could not have been checked before tape was applied to his fragile, Prednisone-thinned skin. I filed a formal complaint and received a response acknowledging the issue and stating that staff had been educated on allergy documentation. An apology and a staff training do not undo the unnecessary pain this caused my father. Documented allergies exist for a reason. Patients and families should not have to fight to have them respected.

I took my father here to get an ultrasound on his legs to determine if the circulation of blood was…read morenormal. First of all the staff here were exceptional. The people at the front desk were polite and smiled as they told us where to go to get to radiology. The check-in desk at radiology had a very attentive person who was quick to welcome us and get the paperwork going. We were seen about 5 minutes after check-in and the staff in charge of setting up the testing were courteous to my father, who is hard-of-hearing. The procedure took about 1.5 hours and I was able to stay in an adjacent waiting room with a tv, which was perfect as my 3-year-old was with me. After the procedure, the nurses took us to the exit and were very complementary to my father, who fell asleep during the testing. We ended up eating at the cafeteria downstairs and left feeling positive about the entire experience.

They charted I got held by the mouth and fell to the floor: I was in a car. Moving car. Kicked out. Again: I had a case to testify. I was alert and oriented x4 as they charted. I told them everything it was never charted accurately. I'm so disappointed. My abuser did not get the time he should have. One nurse took the me to icu to wash up, bc my abuser covered me in throw up, I had CHUNKS of hair pulled out from his abuse. I specifically asked the nurse to chart this/ as it is critical for my case in court: nothing charted. I work in healthcare and this is absolutely ridiculous. Livid is to say the least. Trust as a pct, I understand how busy it is in the ER. But you already admitted me immediately due to trauma. Why not chart appropriately? I wish I went to my own hospital. Insane.

The doctor in Libertyville ordered a drug for me. When I went to pick it up at Walgreens, the pharmacist at walgreens told me I shouldn't be taking this because I am on Xarelto. It would counter act the Xarelto and possibly cause blood clots. The doctor saw my med list so she should have know better than prescribe what she did. It was also the Fourth of July weekend so I couldn't reach anybody until Monday. Was told my my cardiologist that if I stayed on the medication, I would have to go on Coumadin. That was no an option for me. Furthermore their portal is really difficult to get in. It took me over a week to get in after being locked out multiple times. Worst portal ever. The PA at Libertyville was wonderful. She explained clearly everything she was doing. Now I have to try to get the results.

I'm an older person. I can't believe they would celebrate turning me away, but they did, as if it were a party. I love Dr. Sheikh, but her office staff seem like unkind people. She actually told me it was okay if I were a few minutes late. I've been turned away 4 times. I do have IBS which makes the challenge greater. She probably has lost nearly $1000 in income from the times I've been turned away.

The nurse proceeded to get an interpreter and in front of my english-speaking dad says "can you tell him to get out because he clearly doesn't understand". RACIST. Then in the outpatient lobby, the admin wearing glasses told me that I needed to "fucking leave" because I didn't have a badge. This was my first interaction with her and she was rude, inconsiderate, and has terrible customer service. if you're Black or Latinx, GO TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL.
